I wouldn't expect Jagex to have an update fully prepared before the Christmas holiday for them to release it straight away on the 4th - 10th. That week will probably be for last minute checks on whatever they are planning for the week of the 11th. (Fairy Tale Part 3?)

I don't see why everyone is so up in arms about 2 weeks of not having an update. Jagex aren't allowed Christmas and New Years off?

:rolleyes: I hardly see how Jagex advertising their game in a certain way is "repulsive". I call it clever.

I have two accounts one P2P one F2P and I switch between them every so often. I get bored of the complexities of members and like how simple the f2p game is in comparison. Jagex are clever in advertising Runescape as f2p. If you were told there's this awesome game and it's free! Or there's this awesome game but you have to pay $5 a month for it, which are you likely to chose? And once those people play f2p and like the game enough they will buy members if they can to further their experiences.

What I want to know is how have you got into the old temple.. i'm sure i've seen you using curses in a picture somewhere..

I hope it will be part f2p like Runecrafting is.

You don't get lamps. You get options in your chat bar asking you what skill you want to receive the xp in.

This seems to be the standard approach, but I'm wondering why? (I haven't tried it yet.) It seems to me that against something that uses three attack styles, you wear mele armour (which protects against both mele and range) and pray mage. This is especially so if, as I've heard, you do the big damage with the axe. So if I wear full bandos (or torags), dragon boots, zerker ring, it seems I could withstand most attacks and get better hits. Is the answer that her mele attacks are stronger than her mage? Apparantly she can hit 40's with her melee attack. I got hit for 17 max with either her mage/range attack. I honestly don't know why people found it hard? The only thing I messed up on was wondering why I was still casting Earth Surge when I had my axe equipped. Stupid autocast option! Oh I also put on a crystal shield when I was maging/ranging (alot of the time) to help boost up my range defence.

I didn't have any major problems. Vargas almost died on me a few times but I got him through ok. I found a safespot for one of the sentinels so that I could just attack the other one which meant it didn't get healed, easy enough. And the mother took me about 5 sharks to kill. Pray melee, karils, sorted. I did have a unicorn with me for a spot of extra healing when needed as well.

Salamander won't work for all of the final battle as you need to be able to cast Air, Earth Fire and Water spells. Ranged and melee yeh, but the axe you get in the quest > anything for dags tbh.

^ You could get two Visages in a row. Doesn't mean that they aren't rare!

^ 5 mushrooms and a spade. Slayer XP is normally just the monsters HP, which is why it's a challenge to get 99 untrimmed since you get 1.33x their HP experiences in hits.. It varies for higher monsters however, and things like the DKS.

^ Maybe we'll finally get that Cow Costume and infiltrate the Mahjarrat ranks in Lumbridge!

The quest isn't going anywhere. I don't understand why people are so eager to get things done first. (Other than to try and exploit bugs and other cool things that Jagex like to leave in their updates :P)

I use twitter pretty much a million times a day anyway, so yeh.

Elemental Workshop and Myreque will be developed after FTP3 comes out. So they neither questline will be out this year. Fairytale + Mahjarrat quests, coming soon!
