I think this looks awesome. :D Strange little games like this is why I play Runescape. It's quirky and different.

Yes the system is flawed, but don't complain because your friend went into a dangerous situation expecting to keep his best items and then found that infact he was wrong. Changing the Alch Values or core items in the game would have a major effect on the economy. Jagex need to take out the "keep your three best items" system, and replace it with the more common, you get to keep an assortment of your items when you die. The rest VANISH instanty, not visible to other players. Or perhaps just items of value under 3k appear. I never understood the logic behind keeping your three best items. It gives no sense of risk.

Jagex have said they will not change the items kept on death value to the GE because they continually change. It makes problems when working out "risked wealth" in PvP for their system.

DK's, sometime before RuneTek5 came in. I admit I rarely go boss hunting as I don't enjoy it that much, however when I do there will always be someone to bless my grave in the 0% chance that I die. Always keep your HP up, pay attention to what you're doing, and have a good internet connection. Obviously if you had a powercut then there's not much you can do. Most people that i've seen die in GWD think "oh they'll never hit that high on me", and then get splatted by a few hits in a row and collapse. Almost funny. Oh and if you're really messing up, use a house teletab. You can always start a trip again. Tbh with gravestones Jagex pretty much elimated any real risk in the normal monster killing game. What's the point in dangerous monsters if you can just run back within 5 minutes and pick up all your gear again.

So...how many times have you failed? Once. I got killed by a Wizard when I was level 3. And that was over 7 years ago..

Don't die? That solves all your problems. Honestly if you die in this game you fail.

Free mousemat and posters ftw. Bloom lighting looked pretty cool when they added all the effects on. I play rs in Standard Detail and with every increase of detail they showed on the Zanaris shot I was like... EH?? I'm guessing you were one of the guys on the front row video camera at the ready :P Two of the images that kept looping round confused me, the first almost looked like the area above the Sewer Dungeon (terrorbirds + torts), where Arposandra is blatently hidden with Illusion magic, but i'm not certain. And the image of a square thing in the snow. Not Zemouregals place but the other shot. Any ideas? Btw Rach i'm so sorry I missed you, when I got off the train at Nottingham I was in my own little world (and following a hot guy sat next to me on the train), next thing I knew I was on a tram. I think I saw you on the train back but nerves got the better of me shouting across a croweded and very angry train..) :( Hope you had a good day! Spiders *shudder*. I had to hold various objects over the screen when talking to the Herald and the Queen.

Or its a silly Jagex glitch and you just can't get to it. Updates are very rarely put into the game before release day.

PBP was talking about Jagex's upcoming 76k fix.

^^ Grand Exchange Price isn't the same as what people value them at. 170-200 is the value that people expect to pay for one by using Junk items to boost up their trade worth. It's quite ingenious/stupid.

I was playing FOG (to get the music) on P2P and kept getting called a "noob" for running around rocks and hiding. My opponent wanted "free xp" and after he was thoroughly trounced (4000 or so to 100) I was faced with a barrage of abuse back in the entrance because I was a "hiding noob who doesnt know how to play the game properly". I responded saying that it wasn't designed for the xp, and got told "yes it was you noob". I no longer go there.

The elfs name in the quest is Haluned.

She's always been there. I think it's to show that humans weren't alone in Runescape. And that Elves are COOOOL. :D

I'm so glad my questions got answered on there (username is Emmen). I was sure Iestin was already in the game somewhere. Really glad to see that Mod Chris did alot of background research into what Elven content is already in the game. Tihs has made me more desperate to get that city raised from the ground than ever!!
