  1. You're 99 and don't realise that negative weight does absolutely nothing to your run energy? (Apologies if you do)
  2. I still use 2-dose super energy potions when runecrafting. Gets you back 80% of your energy without any real time lost. V-useful when doing fast rc like Astrals/ZMI.
  3. Those few hundred people still have an advantage over other RS players when the content is finally released. Besides they could find a really useful bug (free planking please) and not tell anyone about it. Then when it gets released they go "oh look at that". One day of slightly disrupted gameplay I can stand. For something like POH which are rediculously complicated you have to expect a couple of small bugs to get through. You can bet that QA find ways to duplicate items etc every now and again and catch them. And for people STILL whining about the MA inventory glitch the answer is simple. Don't carry around your life savings on you! You never know when another instant death bug/invent wipe could occur. Ah memories of the Lumbridge Caves.
  4. Well at least Jagex acknowledge (sometimes) they can't catch everything and update their game pretty quickly. After reading the new QA blog I slightly understand the enormity of the combinations you can create in Runescape and QA must catch some pretty terrible things if the bugs that do escape into the Public servers only include things like bad teleports and disappearing rooms. The Falador "Massacre" (I hardly call some people losing a paper hat a tragedy or a massacre) came under odd circumstances that Jagex had no chance of finding. As long as the game doesn't reset your stats or completely wipe your bank for example there little nuisances aren't the end of the world. (If anyone brings up the person who lost "350M".. Why would you even carry that much around anyway. Anything can happen in an online game, for example the instant death glitch in the Lumbridge Caves! I personally wouldn't carry around my lifes savings on me walking to the shops, same principle just a different environment). Nor do most of them stop you from playing the game to it's full potential. Yes the invalid teleport was stupid, missed by QA and annoying but it was soon fixed. I'd rather have one day of fixing things than say waiting a week or a month for a patch to be made.
  5. @Swampjedi: I'd like to see you build a car that doesn't blow up as soon as you turn the ignition. Which coincidentally is what happens everytime Jagex update the game.
  6. They were taken out my Jagex deliberately for causing 'bugs'. Yet they didn't notice all the other ones they made...
  7. My new laptop can't handle HD, even on it's lowest settings I still lag horrendously, which is quite annoying seeing as I bought it aobut 2 months ago. My last laptop I bought 4 years ago and it was running HD on full detail and fullscreen with no lag until it broke.. *sigh* I like SD now anyway. Less lag, simpler.
  8. I heard that people are taking a lucky streak in TIF'ers to represent the entire Runescape Community. Sorry.
  9. I dislike the fact that I can't even build the damn room! Everytime i've tried, up to 120k wasted now, INVALID TELEPORT screams at me and leaves me in building mode, with the runescape apparantly telling me i'm already in normal mode when clearly i'm not. Oh and no new room. Fantastic!
  10. Well they CLEARLY tested this update thoroughly before release  How they hell can they miss that many obvious bugs that are happened to everyone!
  11. Having continued memebership since 3rd June 2002. I just found a file on my pc telling me how to complete my subscription to Runescape "Premium". Man that's old.
  12. Zilyana found a bug and duped it. Jagex didn't ban her though cause she's one of those rare girl things.
  13. ^ Your wish is Jagex's command. The claws in the top right incase people don't see a difference. Also one of the Jmods of RSOF said they are currently re-working some details to do with the summoning skill, one of which was to remove the tab.
  14. :twss: All offence meant here SirHemen, you're being a total [wagon] about this. Just because someone disagrees with your post doesn't mean they have a "closed-mind". And it certainly doesn't mean you start using words that get filtered on here. In my opinion, if you want the play as a Fairy *chuckle* then go find another MMORPG. Runescape has always had Human characters as it was designed that way. In what way does "changing into a fairy to kill a boss" add ANYTHING to the gameplay or evolution of Runescape. All you are suggesting is hours of pointless work for the Jagex team so you can look pretty in pink :P
  15. Firstly a crystal mine would be stupid since crystal stuff doesn't come from rocks.. Sorry! :P I kinda have to disagree with most of your idea here. Runescape is so simple that everyone has the same base character with no special abilities or advantages over any character, in theory. Of course armour and weaponry changes that but it's all player based. There is no hard-written code that says "you're x race so you get this bonus whilst z race misses out". I dislike MMORPG's that force you to chose a type-cast avatar and lock you out of so many features. Even if the difference is only +1HP regeneration that's still something you deny to a person who doesn't chose that race. Creating weapons and armour is a challenge for Jagex in itself to get things to stop clipping, animate properly and look half-decent on a human character, and you want them to spend they're time creating races that do the same job just in different graphics? In short, if you want to change your race go drink a Goblin Potion. Or see Michael Jacksons dermatologist.
  16. Oops.
  17. RE: Tying up loose ends. The creator of the Elf-storyline left Jagex which is why the quests have been untouched for so long. After MEPII, which was an epic quest they decided to not touch on anything as they weren't sure on the direction, and the fact that a quest to better and be harder than MEPII would take ages to create. Thankfully we know that MEPIII is in the 'Blue Box' of development, I don't think we'll see it until the next year as hopefully it's going to be a long Master/Grandmaster quest.
  18. ^ The Dragonkin didn't have anything to do with GWD. Trust me. Guthix wasn't aware of the godwars until he woke up. After bringing everything into Runescape he could think of he took the 7th day approach and had a rest. A rather long one actually. The fighting that took place in the Godwars woke him up and he stopped it fearing the destruction of the world. He wasn't sitting there thinking "hmmm i should probably do something, maybe after tea". Saradomin never occupied the area where the Fist of Guthix is. According to Fiara from Postbag 36, (released a day after WGS) I suspect that whenever Guthix woke up he took the Stone of Jas/Eye of Saradomin/Fist of Guthix and took to where FOG is now. However Saradominists still tried to claim back "the Eye of Saradomin" and when they did left their markings, Guthix presumably at this time knew it would never be safe there and so took it deep underneath Lumbridge Caves and hid it there. I reckon at about this time the Tears of Guthix were formed.
  19. Jagex on Construction: "We're making Construction twice as expensive, as a result anyone who's bought planks will have some money drained from their bank accounts, we think this will help the economy"
  20. There's only one problem I have with Runescape atm. The attitude of the makers.
  21. Ugh. I'm getting sick of Jagex and their "its all YOUR fault" attitude. If the minigames weren't so crap or had more balanced rewards people wouldn't have to fix games. Since when has anyone complained about 50-50 GOP for example? But according to Jagex it's against the spirit of the game in their opinion. So we have to take theirs against the millions of people who play this game. Merchanting clans are also "against the spirit of the game", but Jagex do NOTHING against them. Two-faced losers.
  22. I was doing that mini game for over a day and the best I got was 1 pair of goggles. I gave up. Got that after about 30 minutes of doing the delivery game. :)
  23. From the concept art pictures they showed, I hope it's going to be a room in your house where you can build 'things' to store your animals in. My bank would certainly appreciate that!
  24. ^ Jagex's backstory is like this piece of cheese: Full of holes! That would be Zamorak.
  25. Issued from the stores soon? Please tell me they aren't coming out with Plushie RS toys...
