Another Sailing Clue?
It's a joke. They did that with the horseback riding, and I'm sure this will be the same case. -.-' :wall:

LOCK D00d
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=776275 <= Make sure you advertise your video here next time. To those responding to the thread: if you're not going to help or give advice on how the project can be done, then please don't reply. Saying the idea sucks or that these things fail doesn't help. :-? On Topic: You might wanna make sure you don't infringe on copyrights before pursuing the project further, especially if you're planning on taking lines from the book as that can be considered plagiarism. =X

Please, if there are any errors that really stand out, PM us so that we can fix it accordingly. Telling us constantly that our grammar or spelling is wrong doesn't help us at all. Some of us may have read it and found it satisfactory. We can always use some fresh eyes. And please do keep in mind that there is a mix of US and UK English standards, which can and will result in some confusion of grammar and spelling rules. Do not assume all the articles are written in US English or UK English only.

Did jagex take this sound from pink floyd?
Let's avoid the spamorama of in-before-lock posts... Seriously. That irks me personally more than pointless threads themselves.

Weekly Poll: How long have you been playing RS?
RuneScape came out officially to the public in January 2001. Been playing since late April 2001.

Well have fun spotting me, everyone! I'm gonna be RuneCrafting for a month!

Will Jagex ban pvp trick?
Officially speaking, this is the paraphrased response I got from Jagex about the PVP trick: #1. While it's not fun and sportsmanlike, it is not against the rules. #2. The system will detect when fights are fixed and will adjust accordingly.

Firemaking, not a newb 99
I got 99 firemaking a few years back and didn't spent a single coin to get the logs. Instead I cut the logs for 99 woodcutting (willows at Draynor) and then burned them afterwards. Took a while, but I got two 99s in the end and I'm happy with it. Not all skills are money burners if you know how to budget and get around spending that much. :P If people want to use up their money, let them. It's not yours, its theirs. It's their time, their money, their character.

Firemaking, not a newb 99
Every skill requires some amount of attention and costs. How much it's worth is all down to the individual. So what if people think it's a newbie skill? I say just walk away from their insults and be happy for your achievement. To be honest, the only reason why I see people putting certain skills down is because of how they're promoted in the game. Some skills we just take for granted like ranging. Where do the arrows come from? Fletching (and NPCs), but we don't really think about it, even while we're buying the arrows in mass amounts. What about food? Do you want to make all those anchovy pizzas or cook swordfish all the day long? Probably not. But others have and got 99 cooking to help supply those items for everyone, including those that are saying that it's a stupid skill. Firemaking is being taken for granted because of the massive changes in the game over the years. The game initially didn't have that many stoves around so firemaking was needed to let players cook food more conveniently. Now of course we have places like the Al Kharid kebab store stove or the Edgeville stove that are so close to the bank that firemaking really isn't needed. So while the skill may seem useless now, it was very useful back then. Jagex did make an attempt to make firemaking a bit more useful with the lanterns and the beacons, but unfortunately the skill is still being overlooked and taken for granted. Unless you can think of more brilliant ideas to make firemaking more useful and more amazing that what its intended purpose is for, then I really don't think you can call this a worthless skill. So think about it. What are those skills there for? If you don't run around needing those things, then yes you may think it's a worthless skill. But others who do may reap the rewards from their hard work.

Recommend me a cellphone
Don't really care but I live in holland so not really ones that you would know.. o.o Oh, ignore my comment about AT&T then lol. :P But do look into the Sony Ericsson W-series. They're just pure awesome.

Recommend me a cellphone
The Sony Ericsson W-series are definitely great. Just got the W350i here and it's great. >:) [hide=Sony Ericsson W350] [/hide]It's a flip phone, although the flip is flimsy, so it's not for those who aren't careful and drop their phones a lot. :ohnoes: Only downside to this is that I can't' seem to shuffle my music around so I'm hearing the same artist for like ten minutes. I'll figure it out one day haha. The phone comes with software that you would have to install on your computer if you plan on playing with the phone's files a bit, but it's not insane. :P Fairly simple, almost like the iPod software. It can play videos, but you cannot record videos. Size-wise, its about the same as the new iPod Nano. :P Sony Ericsson themselves make great phones though. They last long, are durable, and look great. :P If your mobile phone service provider is AT&T, you're in luck because they offer a lot of great discounts and free SE phones. :D

Pictures of those TIFers! ~All NEW!~
But Forsakenmaeg is, and I like how you titled that acc's cc. That's not mine either. :| The only other characters I have are Aming Heart and The Lie Cake. Any other characters are just trivial and don't really count as I don't log onto them much.

More holiday event ?
Found a nifty site that might help the discussion: http://www.earthcalendar.net/_php/CountrySearch.php Go ahead and selection 2009 for the year, and pick the International Holidays for the country part. :P LOTS of holidays to choose from... Just need to find one that makes more sense to have in game.

More holiday event ?
Might be safer if they identified it as Lunar New Year... Chinese New Year follows the Lunar Calendar, and many other cultures follow this calendar as well. :P Would bring a nice appreciation of the different cultures around the world. St. Patrick's Day would be interesting... Not Valentine's Day though. That's just setting up for some bad news there.
