Uses for change...
Every penny counts. :ohnoes: I try to save some change so that I can pay the cents at least, and the dollar amounts I can get some bills back instead of a huge handful of coins. At the moment I have a nice piggy bank full of pennies. Eventually I'm gonna have to go to the bank and get some rolls for the pennies and exchange them for bills.

PETA wants Ben & Jerrys to use human breast milk
Honestly, they're gonna have to jab us women with a lot of hormones before we can produce that amount of milk for ice cream. And that alone is a health hazard. Yes PETA, save the animals all you like, but did you think this idea through carefully before proposing it to Ben & Jerry's? I think not. I can see it on the job applications now: "Will you be willing to subject yourself to a milking machine to produce our products?" :wall:

Do You LOL IRL?
I don't literally say LOL... I just laugh... >_> But if I'm typing "lol," generally the laugh in real life is really just a small smile of amusement, rarely something so hilarious I fall out of my seat or wet my pants. :P

What is better: New Skills or Upgraded Ones+Level Cap
If they were to change the level caps, they would have to increase the XP exponentially to balance out previous levels or it won't work. I would rather see new skills, or at least new things we can do with the current skills we have. Prayer I think can be extended a little more for example. And the way the game is set up, I see a lot of potential for more skills.

Army Help
Your recruiters should be able to help you find ample transportation to get you to where you need to go. :) Best of luck in whichever branch you choose, and thank you.

Apparently I'm 70% 4chan and I have no idea what 4chan is exactly to be honest other than just another place with crazy pictures. :|

The G/E babies people
This post will be partially on topic with the original, and partially in response to some of the whining... I love the Grand Exchange. It was an old idea from way long ago that was in the works (I really need to find the guy with the original idea so he could post more on what his idea was that was quite similar to the completion of the Grand Exchange itself), and it has been a huge relief for many. For those who are old time players, and I mean like 2001-old, remember how it was a pain in the rear to get stuff because there was no bank notes and no certificates? Let's do a little time line just in case: 1. No item bank/certs/notes. People had what was called "mule" characters, which were then clarified to be against the rules 2. Bank holds our items! Yay! But still no certs/notes. :( 3. Certs, but not for everything!!! :ohnoes: Only raw materials. 4. Bank notes! All these things were created to make life easier for traders. Now for those of you complaining about the Grand Exchange making things easier, then maybe you should also whine about the Skill-X options as well. If everything were so difficult, people will become dissatisfied, frustrated. The reason why so many changes came about was because of the complaints of it being too difficult. Do you really want to spend weeks trading 1000 coal to someone? No. Do you really want to spend weeks uncerting items? Of course not. Bank notes really helped out. But then you look at the market boards. It's rather cumbersome trying to search through the threads looking for what you want to buy at the price you seek. Sometimes you get annoyed that the good prices are all half-way around the world and may even cry a foul because of that. The Grand Exchange helps with that problem. It allows you to buy the items at the price you want at your own convenience. So instead of hearing nasty comments like, "Oh the people of so and so country have it so much cheaper than our country," you now have a whole world united and trading together, bringing the gaming community together in commerce. World trade, my friends. Old players, you can't expect newer players to understand the hardship. It's like our great-grandparents, if any telling us, "When we were your age we had to walk 10 miles in the waist-deep snow to school. We didn't have fancy machines to make paths for us. We had to dig our own way out." Can you really understand that? Not a lot of us can. Same with the newer players. They don't know how the game was like before. To them the game started when they first joined (not necessarily date wise but development wise). You can't hate them for that. I remember having so much trouble looking for items on the forums. What was more frustrating was that as a non-member I could not post on the RuneScape Official Forums to contact the person I wanted to buy from. On Tip.it I still encountered problems and would get outbid by the time I wake up. :wall: Now with the Grand Exchange, I don't have to worry about checking the posts every 10 minutes. I do miss the journeys to meet merchants, but I'm still contributing to the RuneScape economy by participating in the Grand Exchange as a means of efficiency. We still have the trading system, just with a limit allowed above or under the value of the items. It's not too different. We just have another tool in case we don't want to bust out the calculator and do all the math before trading. No one's being forced to use the Grand Exchange. Although, it would be interesting if we looked at trade limits as a way of trying to get people to start using the Grand Exchange more instead of trading between each other (not that I'm saying that's the intention of the trade limits). :P

Bubble Wrapping Kids
While your intentions were to discuss "bubble wrapping kids," the way you brought on the topic was certainly disrespectful. Locked for flamage. Have a nice day! Remember, duckies go moo.

RuneScape: Boom de Yada - FINISHED and Updated! (Page 6+)
Guys, let's not make this like American Idol. Not everyone can sing, and we all have different programs and systems that we used to record the clips and voices. Nick had the most difficult task of putting it all together. So cut him some slack. Applaud for the efforts of the community. This is what the project's about in the end after all.

99 Fishing (100% F2P)
Thank you everyone! :) I've decided on going for 99 ranging... Just need to find a nice quiet spot for that lol. Lumbridge has four fishing spots, which tend to be relatively close to each other even as they move around (one or two steps up the riverbank, a few steps up or downstream, one or two steps to the riverbank). Barbarian Village on the other hand has only two spots and those tend to be further apart (you have to go up the riverbank several more steps, walk down or upstream, and then walk back down to the river bank). So it's actually a wee bit faster at Lumbridge if you're power fishing and not banking. :)

99 Fishing (100% F2P)
Finally... After dealing with noobs who love to play 20 Million Questions every day at Lumbridge, I got 99 Fishing! Thank you to everyone! :D Special thanks to Skios/Necromagus for keeping my (in)sanity in check. Only managed to take one screenshot.. Forgot to turn off notifications on Gadwin Printscreen. >_< I can't go to the Fishing Guild to get the cape because I'm F2P. D'oh. I recorded, but then when I tried to save it, it failed. :( So no video this time. Bah. Next goal: I dunno yet. We'll see.

RuneScape: Boom de Yada - FINISHED and Updated! (Page 6+)
That line is repeated a couple times. If we have others sing the repeats, it will have more variety :) (similar to the ways that the Boom De Yada will sound better with different people singing it). Thanks for clarifying. :P

Chain Letters
Never believed them. It always irritates me to see chain letters, not only on the networking sites, e-mails, and instant messaging programs, but also on YOUTUBE. :wall: And it's always the same thing: " [...] Send this to # of people and you will ." No chain texts yet, but probably because I threatened to delete anyone from my phone and not pick up their calls should they try to pull a stunt like that. In a way, it kind of reminds me of the old Bloody Mary stuff in the school bathrooms back in elementary school. :?

Runescape is dying. Topic is back after a few months -LooK-
Several things on this thread: 1. Let people decide on what they want to on RuneScape. 2. Quit flaming people for their opinions. You can disagree with them but POLITELY. 3. Don't instigate a riot. Have a nice day! Remember, duckies go moo.
