  1. :ohnoes: Off key but I can tell you were trying your best. ^_^;
  2. You didn't get the quote saying I got Barbie-sniped.
  3. Off Topic: o_O Let's not make this thread into a "this chat has more WBMs than that chat" thread. Thanks! On Topic: Mind you all though, there are some WBMs that are great people who know when and when not to report. :) So not ALL of them are bad, just maybe the overzealous ones that's all. But really if we all did our part in following the rules we wouldn't have this discussion on why WBMs are bad. Again, the reports are based on quantity and quality. If the WBMs do become moderators and do not the act the same way they have before they became one, then it will show. So please do consider how you behave. If you're doing this just to have a crown, you will be a very unhappy player moderator by acting like that. It's better to be yourself, stick with your reporting habits that you know won't change too much after becoming a player moderator. Otherwise you're going to have a tough time living up to the image you've built up. I honestly rarely report someone unless it's evasion of censor that's more than a few lines, the spam-a-lots that won't stop after I ask them nicely to, nasty website spammers, sharing/trading accounts, and asking detailed personal questions. Those are the main things that most people get reported for to begin with I think, particularly the censor evasion which can also relate to discussions that may or may not be offensive to some, but deemed offensive in the eyes of Jagex. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't report for the other rules. But the other ones I've rarely seen these days.
  4. If you have a problem with your threads being locked, please PM the moderator who locked it rather than venting with a whole thread. Have a nice day! Remember, duckies go moo.
  5. amg nube y u play with chat off =( :P One of the chatters in the Hyt2 chat complained that they keep PMing the wrong person when I'm on-line. XD Gained one level today, might be a while until I gain another level... I could just go range and get an easy level but I'm lazy. Plus I really wanna get 99 fishing too lol.
  6. I pretty much can't hide anymore since people know what I'm doing. So if anyone wants to find me, I'm always at Lumbridge fly fishing. Servers will be at random but usually ones that are for the West Coast.
  7. Warning: Long post, but please do read. You do know you can report player moderators for behavior you feel is not befitting of one, right? :? In regards to wanna-be moderators, there are some concerns... 1.) For the wanna-be moderators, are you actually doing it for the community or are you doing it just to have a cool silver crown next to your name? If you want to be a community player, informing people of the rules is a great start. Just slamming the report button without considering that maybe that player just didn't know better and need a guiding hand to help can make you look like a pain to the community instead. Sometimes helping is better than reporting. Of course, if the person is screaming "I don't care" and continues his rule breaking after you've informed them of the rules, you should report them. And being a community player doesn't just mean reporting too. Read the part that's in bold :) For the click-happy reporters, might want to keep quality in mind. For those that don't report but want to be a moderator anyway, consider your own behavior first. 2.) For the wanna-be moderators, do you think having a silver crown will make you immune to the RuneScape rules, or you'll get let off easier than a normal player? Not the case at all. In fact, it can also mean you're being looked at more closely than normal players. 3.) For the wanna-be moderators, do you think having a silver crown will make people respect more? Start reading the complaints people have against you already. Those are some of the complaints some player moderators have to deal with on a daily basis. Can you handle those complaints appropriately without losing your head? Do you know what's the limit to dealing with such insults? Do you know when to use the ignore list instead of the report button? And not only that, but a good part of the RuneScape population still can't differ between a player moderator (silver crown) and Jagex staff member (gold crown). Would you be patient enough to explain the difference or refer them to the Knowledge Database? Would you be willing not to let your annoyance get in the way and ignore them? Or will you simply scream at them at how stupid they are? I sure hope you didn't say yes to that last question. 4.) For the wanna-be moderators, do you think that having a silver crown will give you free stuff and previews of future updates? Nope. Sorry. No free stuff, no sneak peaks. As most of you know already, either from word of mouth or having seen screenshots of me talking, yes I am a player moderator. I posted my concerns for those wanna-bes because if you guys do end up being player moderators, you'll be working with other player moderators as well to uphold a good quality environment in game. Wanna-be'ing may seem the best way to go about becoming a player moderator, but if you can't uphold that behavior after you get the shiny silver crown, then start being yourself while being a good member of the community, not constantly nit-picking at what people say and taking things out of context to report just for the sake of reporting. Being a player moderator is NOT easy. It will NOT give you instantaneous respect, nor will it give you exclusive access to future updates, etc.
  8. Call me Barbie and you're not invited to the party. >.>
  9. Okay last one and that's it. Blame the chatters for the last one ("Less Than Three") and this one... Aqua - Barbie Girl
  10. viewtopic.php?f=200&t=385040 That thread is very similar to your own. Please try to use that thread instead. Thanks. Have a nice day! Remember, duckies go moo.
  11. viewtopic.php?f=30&t=752295 Use that thread to discuss the topic please. Have a nice day! Remember, duckies go moo.
  12. [/hide]Thats majority of F2P in a nutshell...a really big nutshell.Yea pretty much I guess lol. And yet I'm still pure F2P... :P But at least the random event ones I'm sure P2Pers can relate with...
  13. On RuneScape 1. When a player REFUSES to try to even type properly (i.e. massive amounts of typos in almost EVERY word) 2. When a player INSISTS that a player moderator is actually a "creator," i.e. Jagex mod, even though they have a silver crown next to their name :wall: 3. When a player STATES that their "friend" or "relative" is level 200 and can beat the cabbage out of you  4. When a player ASKS you what are you stats (one or two is fine, but any more and they really need to start looking at high scores; they are there for a reason) :wall: 5. When a player SCREAMS that you're lying when you do state your stats (again, high score are there for a reason) :wall: 6. When a player REPORTS (or says they reported) you for not being their friend or not giving them free stuff 7. When a player SPAM requests for trade/assistance without even saying WHAT they desired to trade or needed assistance with, even AFTER the request is accepted  8. When a player BEGS for you to remove armour/weapons in BH/FOG to let them win easy... I'm not something to be mooched off of thanks 9. When a player LIES about their stats to make them look more better than you when clearly they're not 10. When a player TELLS you you ought to use this weapon, get members, work up certain skills, etc. (does not count good advice) Hey, it's my account, not yours! Go do that for your own account! 11. When a player on Fists of Guthix screams, "NO FAIR" when you're significantly higher when the game already reduces the stats to give everyone a chance to win regardless of combat level differences... Can't control how we get paired up, sorry folks Enough of the player gripes... :P 12. The Big Fish random event that takes your fishing equipment away. Sometimes I don't notice quick enough and take a while before I can find my fishing gear again. :wall: 13. The Pinball random event. The uncontrollable camera, while its purpose is understandable, hurts my head 14. The Maze random event's new look hurts my eyes... I have to turn up the brightness on my laptop to see where I'm going, then turn it back down when I'm done :wall: 15. The Grab-the-Evil-Twin random event. Don't you hate it when you have the claw JUST above the evil twin, only to have the darn twin move before you could hit the red button? ARGH!!! 15. No empty space when you withdraw something in the middle of a row in the bank now. I have to constantly organize my bank now whenever I do withdraw a singular item On the Forums 1. When a user refuses to try to even type properly (i.e. massive amounts of typos in almost EVERY word) 2. When a user purposely has a super long line that stretches out the screen + scroll bars (at least, on old boards, haven't seen this happen yet) 3. When a user doesn't hide their large images, resulting in stretched out boards + scroll bars There's more... but I'll look like a serious whiner if I list more. :P Those are the main ones though.
  14. You're welcome! :) Here's something really to make laughs.. This is NOT an entry. :P hIILxN0U4EU Yes, that's actually me singing with a weird voice. :P It cuts off at the end but oh well. :P
  15. Wait, are you a girl?! Yes I'm a girl. :P Putfile. :P
  16. ForsakenMage has. And her voice is kinda cute. *Hides behind Necromagus for safety.* Next time I'll try to sing something not game related...
  17. And now for your daily amusement. :wall:
  18. Fly fishing and dropping is definitely the fastest. If you are seeking profit though, if you decide to fish Karamja, make sure you have the explorer's ring (3rd one) so that instead of paying both ways you only need to pay once, fish, teleport to the cabbage patch north of Port Sarim and walk to Draynor. Likewise heading back just use the teleport after you bank, walk to Port Sarim, pay, fish, repeat. :P
  19. It's possible that there was a mistake, and it's actually possible to tell who has been a member or not by adding up their total XP in their F2P stats and matching it up with overall xp. If the total overall xp is less than that of the F2P skills xp added total, then this individual has had P2P. My guess is that the list is supposed to be pure F2P but I could be wrong...
  20. It says the stats were last updated today but they haven't updated? I'm seven levels behind where I'm supposed to be right now. :?
  21. Thanks for updating this, Jake! :) I'm slowly gaining levels again... Trying to get everything except RC to 80+. :-#
  22. Fix'd.Fix'dFixed. Just watched the news. Big Sur fire now at 61% containment! But it may not be fully contained until the end of the month. :(
  23. Favorite Series Harry Potter Anne of Green Gables Nancy Drew Mysteries (the newer version, not the old one from the 1960s) Redwall Series Favorite Books The Complete Tales of Winnie-the-Pooh Teddy's World Watership Down Fifth Chinese Daughter Almost ALL Books by Lawrence Yep I read mostly fantasy, , although I've leaned more towards books about Chinese heritage. There are more books I've probably missed... but those are the main ones so far.
  24. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7506948.stm :) Viewers win. Uploaders of copyrighted material on the other hand... :|
  25. -.- Edited. Made it on YouTube. Not as good as my original recording but at least there won't be weird cut offs etc. "Still Alive," the end-theme of Portal qbWSp06cLzk
