The Legend of the Forum - [~3 Characters Needed!]
I'll try to do something, but chances are it'll be pretty hard because I'm in the midst of packing. o_o;

JROTC anyone?
Heh, I was working the Logistics/Supply department and it was a pain to sort between the BDUs because some were for summer, while the majority of our BDUs were for cooler weather. Difference: Just material. They all looked the same, except for some that were a bit faded, so I had to literally go through each BDU shirt and pants to see which was which to do the monthly inventory. #-o

JROTC anyone?
Boredom makes you look at old posts that you wanna reply on... Don't hurt me! I took Army JROTC for three years back in my high school (started sophomore year because I took PE the first year). I haven't joined up in ROTC when I got to college, though I know a few people that have. Medals: The Retired Officers Association (||||||||||||||||| Hopefully this is visible for those who are not familiar with this medal) Individual Drill Down Ribbons: JROTC Citizenship Award Perfect Attendence Best Company Best Platoon Physical Fitness Academic Achievement Spring Competition Fall Competition Good Conduct Brigade Service Parade Ribbon Graduated as a Cadet Second Lieutenant, but there's been speculation there's been a mistake and that I should've been Cadet First Lieutenant according to the records. :? Oh well. Still got the shiney disk. :P

Lego Fans?
Ah I remember the days when I'd be so picky about how I put the Legos on... We used to have those big multi-colored ones and I'd make each building or whatever a single color except for maybe when I'm trying to represent a light (yellow) or a chair (forgot what color I used when the building was red... all the colors we had were yellow, blue, green, and red lol). Then we had a Lego set and I was determined to use the guide to build the buildings in it, but my brother would hog the pieces to create weird looking cars and planes.

Tip.It Times Presents: Welcoming Home the Prodigal Children
The article is talking about Tip.it forum accounts being unbanned, and then talks about RuneScape. ;) In otherwords, Tip.it's unbanning "day" is not in relevence with the unbanning of RuneScape accounts, which is entirely up to Jagex, not us, as we are a fansite and not an affiliate of them.

Parent's Guide at rs main site
I love the educational bit. :P While it may seem "duh" material for some, it helps to enlighten those parents that think all games are bad and teach you bad things (like mine... d'oh). And I agree with you, Lightning, about the e-mailing for serious incidents or concerns. It would've saved me a lot of trouble when it came to asking people to just nicely back off of my younger siblings. #-o

Which skin do you use?
subCanvas. ^_^; Matches my Firefox theme lol.

asians...
I can't tell to be honest. Sometimes I can but it's hard. I've been mistaken to be Japanese when I'm Chinese. I can, however, tell the difference between people from different parts of China based on their accents when they speak Mandarin or another dialect. :P

The Legend of the Forum - [~3 Characters Needed!]
And I guess I better try to roll the ball along... ======================== Rain, the Aming with Armaneth and company, stirred slightly, turning her head a little before opening her eyes. For a moment, she felt disoriented with the visions and thoughts racing through her mind. She winced softly before slowly getting up, not noticing Armaneth, who continued to watch her steadily. She could barely remember what happened. One moment she was reading quietly, the next moment something like a surge of pain, followed by a numbness in her mind left her completely helpless as the darkness she had inherited, locked up inside, took control. After what seemed like eternity, she turned to look at Armaneth. "What... happened...?" she asked quietly. ~ Aming continued to hold the knife close against Sabin's neck, staring at the confused party before her. Zonorhc spoke calmly to her, trying to get her to put the knife down, but only made her press the blade closer to cutting the unfortunate monk's neck open. "Aming, you can't do this..." Aryl whispered. "You'll destroy yourself and everyone else around you." "That is exactly what I intend to do, archmagess," Aming replied, pulling the blade just a little closer. A drop of blood emerged from the cut. Sabin tried not to move as he felt the cold steel sink into his skin. Suddenly, without warning, Zonorhc leapt forward, sending Aming sprawling to the ground with a swift kick to the side. The knife went flying into the campfire and Sabin scrambled away, clutching at his throat. Aryl quickly went to his side to heal him while Zonorhc pinned Aming, face down, onto the ground, quickly binding her wrists and ankles. Aming swore something terrible, much to everyone's surprise, but a punch silenced her temporarily. "What... was that... all about...?" Sabin gasped as Aryl tended to him. ===================== >.>

Today we Remember 9/11
I think some might want to keep in mind it wasn't just US citizens that were harmed, physically and emotionally... That incident shook the world even though the event physically occured on US soil. I live in the west coast of the US, and at the time was in the 10th grade. I was more or less getting ready to go to school and commute across the city. I had heard on the radio that the Pentagon was hit, but what I didn't hear was the World Trade Center towers. I have relatives that live in NYC, so I was just numb when my classmates, who were waiting for class like I was at around 10:30 US Eastern time, told me what happened. Later, our teacher had us quiet down in class and told us what happened in full detail. About an hour and a half later, the entire city was told to leave work/school and to go home. My family was a bit scattered, with my mother on one side of the city, while my siblings in the other, and my dad elsewhere. We all managed to get home somehow, with me getting a ride from my classmate, my uncle picking up my brother Fortunately my relatives in NYC were all right. What was more scary was that my aunt and uncle, who flew over from NYC to my hometown for my grandfather's funeral, left on the plane one day before all of this occured. :| I called up the airport anyway on that day to make sure one of my friends, who works as a flight attendant, wasn't on any of those flights. She's fine as well, but having seen all that had happened, it makes you realize just how much you value the relationships between people you know, and how easy it is to lose people around you. I agree with Bmms about how in a strange way, this was a good thing. It woke us up to how slack our security was. Some will argue that perhaps things are going a bit too far in terms of banning certain items, but I won't get into that. That's not the purpose of the topic. May the victims of this tragic event rest peacefully. May the families and friends of the victims find a way to continue on living happily, peacefully. May those who are affected by this event one way or another continue on living on with courage, faith, and the knowledge that things can and will get better.

bath or shower?
Shower. Saves time and I don't want to accidentally fall asleep in a bathtub if I get too relaxed.

Sept. 11th Remembrance V (Details Inside)
Glad to hear it went well, Ziddy. Didn't hear about this event as when you posted it up I was away in Southern California. :( Let us not forget, and let us unite.

Where are you going to College/University?
Used to attend a community college, applied for UC Berkeley and UC Riverside as they are the only two UCs that have my major. UC Berkeley rejected me. So in about two weeks, I'll be at the University of California - Riverside majoring in Business Administration. Hopefully I can graduate within a year and a half... Am also hoping to persue a law degree after this. :)

Mass Forum Unbanning
After much consideration and reviewing previous bans we've set, the Tip.it Administrative Team has decided to unban many users who have previously brought offense on these boards. However, we did not unban everyone. Those individuals who are still banned and feel that they have learned their lesson can try sending another ban appeal so that they may once again use the forums. Please keep in mind this is a one time deal. The Administrative Team will not be doing this again. To those who are unbanned: Welcome back. Please read over the rules and announcements to reintroduce yourselves to the Tip.it forums. Much may have changed since you were last here. To those who are still banned: Good luck with your appeals.

entertaining way to make your math teacher look stupid
We were talking about theorems to prove two triangles are congruent a few years ago in my geometry class. Now if you know them, you would know that there is no such thing as the theorem Side-Side-Angle, or for short SSA. Let's just say the teacher wrote the abbreviation the other way, starting with A. :-#

America needs to switch to the metric system, etc...
Meh, I've adapted to more or less using both metric and English systems of measurement due to travel. Doesn't really matter to me.

Pluto is disqualifed
I feel so sorry for the Astronomy department at my old college... They've gotta rewrite their lectures now. And recently there was a book reprinted too, just last year, and yes it says Pluto is the 9th planet... That publisher must be hopping mad. We want Pluto back!!! :XD:
