see, how its not the people who can live on world 2 who demand a set price and then 20 or so people with the same item sitting around demanding to sell for very similar price. it has turned the RS economy into a Reactive economy of true supply and demand.

i agree, bland. I dont hate it, but it didnt have the appeal that the barrows wallpaper had. It was a very colorful and this one just seemed dull, and I expected something like the new KBD wall paper that was released a while ago, where it had the warrior getting the shield ripped out of his hand and a mage/ranger in the back. Just expected some action, like 3 combats squaring off. or attacking each other...

another thread to attempt to make jagex look like the bad guy, except they just probably made the GE update the prices on the shield update either more regularly, or decided to change the price manually. Because 10% is HUGEEEEE right? not really, but relatively sure it can be, but thats not the point as for granite, well, it was obvious jagex introduced something over powered so they had to change that. just more CRY CRY CRY threads.

exactly, in a c i d y they dont seem to act intelligently. If an item cannot drop in price and naturally stabilize your just going to return to how it used to be "merchants merchanting other merchants" was the popular phrase i believe. like, all they do is buy BGS, AGS, SS, DFS or so they say. But, they raise the price 2-5mil lets say, then let it drop 1mil, then try to raise it again. This isnt intelligent, its like golf. Theirs long strokes([bleep]es/changes) and short strokes. If it goes up 5mil and comes back down 4mil then starts to settle +/- 1mil of the previous price thats a "big" stroke, and if they just keep trying to make big strokes, the prices are going to be come super inflated. If AGS raised 5mil every day for 4 days its going to have a devastating crash, but then are they going to kick in and try to raise it? probably, the idea of this group investment is to max profits by not letting things return to normal for a while your not getting max profits. You have to rotate the crops. inevitably it could drive prices up greatly, and I had originally like the idea of group investors because if they could cause slow but constant decline in price it might lead to jagex introducing new/better gear or another $ making monster.

they could release healing armor, that heals you slowly like the bunyip. And they could release armor that allows for a high HP level. like how potions go past 99. something that would make the game interesting and make pures cry about everything in the world.

Ofcourse you need to complete the quest to get the shield as a drop, can't kill the beast without the quest, now can you? you can buy the shields, or at least they are listed in the GE. so maybe thats what he meant.

thats the basic shield, which is... close to rune kite, except a lil lower on the def bonus's so, the stats of a 90mil shield..? impressive i hope.

hm, nothing new in that aspect. So, i see these prices falling somewhat quickly, especially if shards are as easily obtainable. at least jagex updated smithing for once. kind of humbling to us who think smithing isnt that great.

we dont know how to get them, but i do agree in 2 aspects of. It would be nice to get that much $ or, more importantly to me that amount of $ is somewhat relative to the shield being "good" and if it can be gotten for free. Great. Well not "free". Any decent item in the game is obtained through combat. An item is released and every high level adds to there already high bank balance by farming the item. GWD, DFH, DFS etc. etc. Now I'm a high level but I still hate the idea of PC Product noobs who only ever train combat getting a monopoly on all the best stuff. Whereas whack a 250qp quest requirement on a quest to open a new dungeon to obtain expensive shields as drops, kinda evens the balance a little bit. My issue is if this quest is that sorta quest, the reqs are far far too low. Only 1 otherquest prequisite and reasonabley low levels. its free to me if i get the drop in that sense, however this is kind of interesting seeing jagex introduce new items.

one thing i have noticed and considered is, the supposed Jmod action. This might have jagex concerned. first of all, if prices keep dropping ALOT. Jagex might have to make more game content. Barrows armor started to come down in price a bit, then dag kings were released. I am just wonder if forced price drops will make jagex introduce another monster hunting $ maker. If so, that is good in general. but whatever...

as soon as i saw "tower defense" i knew a few things, going to be fun. But going to be under developed and not as good as Gemcraft.

seems very ineffective for the most part. Seeing how if i was going to start a mass manipulation of prices i would simply keep it quite i checked out the clan chat that is responsible for some of this. Its interesting. plans are to buy out some things such as ahrims top/skirt range pots sara brew snap dragons/sup restore i think ZGS might have been touched upon robin hood hats dark bows whips dragon legs

You don't know Runescape. hes correct in 1 way, if these players could target a drop by hording these items...well panic could ensue. Say these 160 BGS's are sold for min a week from now and they make 2mil off each. Now when they sell, and they actually are able to focus enough of them into the market and cause a drop in price for ONE day, panic. thats all

They would be much better off if they combined the smoke and shadow spells on me. But, in a place like castle wars, death is good sometimes. Regen of spec and stats/familiars HP.

well, that was an over simplified answer to an extensive post, not to mention the post was rather.... mundane. The idea that freezing allows for a KO means nothing. it seems that the basis was magic vs magic at one point then turned to, how to magic vs melee efficiently. the idea of, Ice barrage DDS/AGS spec to do a massive mage/melee combo nearly instantly is a great idea. But, its not super effective. TBH, i would like to see the diversity he begins to speak of. But not just in magic. In range and melee. Javelins need an update i think. and Melee need more of a spice to it. Not pvp spice but, situational spice. Like the black mask/salve amulet. Infact, why dont all the classes get these types of updates? Crumble undead is the best specific spell. I would love to see more based around that. Like I suggested adding a new spell, slayer bolt 1 death 4 bloods and does half of your magic level for damage as a max. It would give magic a well needed update especially by making it modern magics

Panic should not dictate a market. Yet it does and will always.

lassar teleport on ancients gets you to the black knight fortress. i guess, using lunar will help.
