My members runs out in 4 days - i decided it was taking too much of my time IRL. My question is what should i do with my remaining time? I've ordered my bank as per that guide to going F2P, but i dont want to just twiddle my thumbs. So what should i do?

I suppose its the excitement and challenge of a human opponent. Not that i've ever pked - not one kill or attempt!

I didn't say 'liberal', i said 'literal'. Completely different thing. Yep, i suppose i am a little bit intolerant. But who isn't? dont try and tell me you are not. But when an organisation tells me, with no backing evidence, that they are right, and everyone else wrong, that i find a little intolerant. I don't tolerate those who irrationally think they know everything because it says so in a 2000 year old book The virgin birth thing - several reputable authors (not anti-religion particularly) How do you know it is 100% reliable and god wrote it? Because it says so! This really makes me laugh. I can only conclude you are a complete idiot. How about i write a book saying 'This book is 100% reliable because the writer is infallible. Give me your cookies!' By your standards, the entire world would be sending me cookies (not that i'd complain). By your standards the Koran is also 100%, as is every religious text - yet they contradict each other. The obvious conclusion? they are not 100% correct!

Umm... I believe Insane was referring to chemical reactions. Not genetic mutations. No matter how unlikely something is, it can still happen. Natural selection will then select for those viable and better mutations. Evolution happens. To argue against it is to be like those who maintained that the world is flat. Think how you will be viewed in centuries to come? What is more sensible and logical - to believe the unscientific myths and legends of 2000 years ago, or repeatedly tested scientific theories that have stood the test of 150 years of probing and assault? Particularly when those myths and legends are based on mistranslations. (virgin birth comes from some mistranlations from hebrew via the greek). When a principle belief of your religion comes from a muck up by the greek Septuagint, you can tell that there will be others. To believe the bible without question is foolish. You should question everything, and be prepared to see errors. Sorry if i'm in rant mode, but i want to let off steam after the bust up with the local church youth group. They are unusually literalist (taking bible literally) for the UK, and seem to not understand the concepts of evidence, tolerance, debate, disagreement or even understanding the things they moan about. They went on about half an eye, and how schools lie to us. So i'm kinda anti-religion at the moment. soz.

Is aleph-1 a type of infinity? i'm sure i've heard the term somewhere.

The irreducible complexity argument ignores two imporatant things: 1) Evolution does not always add components - it can take away 2) More than one change can happen in a single generation - unlikely, but still possible. It only needs to happen once, and it is passed on. I am surprised no-one has mentioned the eye! (what use is half an eye?) People who use this arguement have no clue about evolution. Each level of improvement can be slightly better than the last, all the way from light sensing panels to the 'modern' eye. And as for 'Evolution is only a theory', which i believe someone said earlier, do you know what a theory is? It has passed all that scientific investigation can throw at it for over a century. Itelligent design would be grateful to be called a theory. The reason for ID's creation was to get around US laws, which ban religion (creationism) from the classroom. It tries to get around this by disguising it as science. ID is not science. No true scientist would assume that because he does not know the answer, some supernatural force must be responsible. Science should try to answer the unanswerable. It might not be possible now, but in a century? Two centuries? As for people who say that religion and science are compatible i would like to say they are fundamentally opposed. Religion tells people to believe without question. Science questions everything, even itself. This is the beauty of the scientific method. The only use i see for religion is as a moral guider. It can no longer claim to have the literal truth, and so only has moral truth. But to do something because you are told to, not because it is the right thing to do? That is the way to evil and numerous atrocities through the years. The greatest good for the greatest number. If you follow this principle, you will find that you follow the important commandments of most religions. I would extend this. Humanity is a species. No species has survived forever. They change to keep up with a changing world. We must change. Do what is best for the species, best for humanity. If that means testing on animals, so be it. But we must let go of what holds us back. For millennia religion has kept societies together. But in keeping themselves whole, most seek the distruction of alternatives. And when peoples ix, this had led to problems. Religion has been a driving force for progress, but now it holds us back. The only religion I have respect for is Buddhism, the most unusual of the lot (no offence intended). But if there is a god like the christian god, then i would expect to go to heaven. Any god who threatens death for disbelief is not worth that belief.

Does that really matter? Back on topic: As further example of how bad people are, i recently made an f2p mage pure. I had just reached lvl 20 when some idiot came along, and did his 'trade trade trade - look how rich i am' thing, showing off. I replied that it was nothing special, and i had 1M, and money really isnt that important. To which he gave me a sack full of racist abuse (all incorrect, since i only made a coloured female character cos i like the look - in fact i'm male and as Anglo-saxon as it gets!) My point is that people seem to think its fine to be racist, when on a computer game people can be anything they like. The way racist insults are taken for granted as acceptable alongside 'noob' and 'fauck you' disgusts me. needless to say, he was reported.

Do the sudoko ( rogue trader minigame). I get a random after every puzzle, and really cheap runes.

STOP SLAMMING LITTLE KIDS WHO PLAY RUNESCAPE! I am in junior high and I play RuneScape. I try to be courtious to people who I play along with, and my friends, in real life and on the internet, are my age and nice in RuneScape. Go generalize someone else. It is a wierd thing, but i've noticed that since i've left compulsory school, most of the real a**holes have really improved. Its as if once people get into the real world they realise that they should mature, or they will stand no chance. Of course, it could be that they save their a**holiness for runescape... But you should see all the little kids at lunchtimes, then you'll see that our prejudices have a pretty firm basis. I know, i know - not everyone is the same, and it must be annoying to be judged as an a**hole because you are 12. But on the internet, no-one knows how old you are. Think of it this way - when people say '12 year old' they mean someone with a low mental age (maturity). If it doesn't apply to you, then take it as a compliment - you are better than the rest of your age group.

I got enticed into the blue dragon cage in heroes without a shield. Luckily i found the safespot and teled in time. That was fairly silly.

When i do the sudokos for rogue trader, i always seem to get a random when i finish - though that might be the time factor. I do take quite a while! As a previous poster said, anything 'random' will clump together - if it didnt there would be a pattern! Over the whole two hours though you will take an average amount of hits. The best way is to base all estimates on the worst case (constant 7's and 8's), and be pleasantly surprised by the 0's.

I sit in the bank, though sometimes i steal from the nature rune chest in ardy

I got switch scammed the other day - they changed 750 bow strings for 750 willow unstrung longbows! I felt a right idiot, but just picked 800 flax, so it wasn't too disasterous. I feel really sorry for you, especially since 5M to me is 5 times as much as i have now. -
I'm not sure who this Fancy Fancy with 70+ ranged is. I'm on high scores now, and fancy fancy has only got lvl 35 ranged and 34 prayer. I believe that isnt enough to wield Karil's X-bow, so the fire cape cant belong to fancy fancy.

I'm afraid that age doesn't indicate intelligence. OK, his story is really unlikely, but the bad spelling doesn't prove anything. -
I'm not sure the money cost is needed, though maybe your amount of runes is better. Once you've made that much investment in runes, i doubt 100 gold will really worry you! The rune cost (or overall cost) should be high enough that you wouldn't use it frivolously (eg big bone banking), but instead would use it to (for instance) save your whip in the wildy. You wouldnt save your whole inventory because of the casting time, but that one item could be handy.
-
I have often thought about the tele-bank spell. I reckon it should take 2 laws and 1 nature, and would bank a single item. Either that or the one peer the seer uses, and banks everything (all equipment as well). That way it couldn't be used by power miners etc, as it would either take too many runes, or would bank your pickaxe as well.

Hey - it still takes quite a bit of knowledge to successfully edit a script. Congratz. This makes the rune chests really worthwhile now. It takes too long to solve them manually, but the cheapness of the runes is really tempting.

since when do you own the wilderness? you are more like someone going to the park to play soccer, and killing someone on the swings. Why should there be rules. Good manners doesn't need rules. Killing someone for no reason other than to annoy them (agility trainers) is something nobody should condone. By all means go for someone who will drop something, that way you have a reason. But gaining pleasure from the suffering of others, with no other reward than that suffering, is unacceptable. We should do things not because we are told to (rules), but because they are trhe right thing to do. You seem to have no sense of morality, and i hope you gain one before it is too late.

At the risk of looking silly, are you sure it was entangle, that you didn't hit the wrong buton? It might sound a silly question, but when i asked someone complaining about their tea whether they were sure they put sugar in, it turned out to be salt!  it still cracks me up!

hill giants. Quick to kill, big bones, and decent amounts of runes dropped.
