I disagree I think that its a great reward for such easy tasks. Why would you not want to earn more xp in agility arena? Or a quick and easy way to get gems to raise your crafting? Why would you not want 8 new gem rocks? I wish that I could use those new gem rocks right now, If you could use them you would be the only one there! Then think about expansion of the diary and the possibility that it could have. If you think negative all the time your expect negative updates. Not everything is bad! They're too spaced out anyway, highly inconvenient. I would of been disappointed if they had been mith with that layout. Just like always, more rubbish for noobs, nothing better for higher levels.

I seriously, seriously doubt very many people use pass crackers on RuneScape. Dictionary attacks take long enough and true brute force attacks take a very, very long time.

So don't do it..? No one's MAKING you do it Personally I think it's great having something else to do, even if they aren't all that hard. I can't just let it sit there uncompleted, eventually I'm gonna have to do these things. I'll wait until all information is gathered so I can do it as fast as possible though. :P

People get "hacked" because of their accounts real life money worth(there are people who just want the items for their other accounts). A level 126 is about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100-200 1 million gold is about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3.50 So take a average 126 of about 50mil (no I did not do any research on an average amount of money a level 126 has, feel free to post some) 50*3.50= ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã175 + ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100-200 = ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã275 - 375 Now let's say you can get the "hacker" software for free... That's ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã275 - 375 prophit. ~MAK I don't understand why you quoted me here, but I agree with what you said anyway. My point being that the "hacker" software you mentioned is never anything more than a simple keylogger.

8 May 2007 - The Achievement Diary Next This week we bring you an entirely new kind of content: the Achievement Diary, which is sure to fire up your desire to head to Karamja. By completing sets of tasks you'll earn rewards to make Karamja an even more appealing place to visit and to train in. The Achievement Diary entries will each relate to an area in the game (in this first case, Karamja), and each will have a set of easy, medium and hard tasks to complete. The easy tasks could be as simple as picking a few bananas, while the hard tasks include defeating a mighty Ket-Zek (level 360) in the TzHaar Fight Cave! There are rewards for completing each set, so if you can't beat all-comers in the Fight Pits yet, don't worry. The rewards range from improved Agility experience in the Brimhaven Agility Arena to an entirely new mine that can only be used by people who have done all of the hard tasks. On top of that, you'll increase your knowledge of Karamja, and might even discover more interesting and enjoyable ways to do things. There are plenty of reasons to start filling in your Achievement Diary, and we'll be adding more areas to the diary in the future. Bad update. Worst ever, infact, I think. For me, it's bad enough having to do all the damn quests to get them out of the way, now they shove a load of achievements I must complete in my face... great, a load more work, a little more closure. :P I also think that since one of RuneScape undisputable greatest aspects is that you get to do whatever the [bleep] you want and whatever you decide to do, of course, is potential achievment for you. I do NOT want Jagex telling me what to achieve, I want to decide for myself. I for one will be boycotting this update until it's proven that the rewards are DAMN, DAMN good. Discuss. ^^

I hate that term... 'hacked'. Nobody ever gets hacked, why would a hacker waste time with RuneScape?? All that ever happens is people fall from their own columns of stupidity.

Weekly Poll: Would you continue to play RuneScape if...
p0nd3r4 replied to Kiara_Kat's topic in General Discussion
I don't think this is worthy of being a poll, how much variation will we find in the answers? "Yes." "No." "Yes, until boredom becomes one with me." -

Because newbs are the new player that actually don't know how to play and needs advice, while a noob is a player who might beg from stuff/cash at random, which will annoy people. Both can be annoying in a way, but generally, noobs are harrassing. Exactly but newbs become noobs when they realise they don't need to work at the game, just harass people. This is brought about by seeing other beggers and by people handing stuff to them. I remember working very hard to get my smithing up so I could make my first set of bronze. These noobs will undoubtedly be given their first set of armour. They will then think, whether consciously or subconsciously, that they need not bother getting armour themselves, might as well just ask someone else for the next set since it's clearly that easy.

:: How the macroers could be defeated! ::
p0nd3r4 replied to p0nd3r4's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
[cabbage]... I always overlook things when I'm high. Same reason I don't do quests or PK anymore, I always forget something vital. :P Ok, I recede, it's a bad idea. -
I've just had an inspired idea, that's so simple I can't believe I've not heard it suggested before. All they must do to put a big prevention on them is place spawns for aggressive level 20 or so monsters in the hotspots for macroers. So at the yews, there will be level 20 hobgoblins or something and when a level 3 macroer comes along he dies. The only way they could macro then would be to train the account to level 41 first, which takes a fair while. Too long, I would think. What do you all think?

I agree with whoever, too early to even bother. There's no information on it at all, so it's completely pointless to try and guess.

You said it yourselves man, unfortunately fortune and happiness is not what you spread, it's more like greedy minds, laziness and annoying mentalities. Let me pitch something to you - when people first play RuneScape they probably haven't been playing any other MMORPGs cuz RS is looked down upon by players of most others. When you give them things for nothing, it's probably a little like cheats for them. The same mentality: I can't be [bleep]ed to play, I'll just use cheats to get stuff : I can't be [bleep]ed to play, I'll just ask people for stuff. I never begged when I started cuz nobody helped me to start off with so ever since then I've had a strong Do It Yourself attitude. I'm telling you, the newb levels are SUPPOSED to be very challenging, it makes you react to the challenge and become more determined. But whatever, I'm high, sorry if I'm ruining your thread but I think what I just said makes perfect sense somehow.
