Ever been pulled into a noob arguement, written English back at the antagonist then been told you're too old to play the game and labeled 'sad' by the noob(s)? I'm only 17 and I've had loads of that, but my stance on the whole thing is simple: Being older/mature you can still enjoy playing games like RuneScape, the only difference is you seem to be 80 IQ points smarter than everyone else and your balls are bigger. I really don't like the increasing values being placed on things that, quite frankly, don't even matter (skin colour, musical genre preferences, age, nationality, political stance, etc.). Anyone else ever faced moronic prejudice like this and what do you think of it? If you haven't, what's your stance on it anyway?

Would anyone be interested in having someone take them anywhere on F2P for 5k a pop? Features including resource location, so you can just say "to the nearest rune rocks" or "best place for yews". Basically it's the knowledge of an advanced player combined with a chauffeur! :) If interest is shown I'll begin right away. Please comment on pricing, features and concept. ^^

I have done it before but only for role playing reasons, and with people I already know. I hate the noobs that stand around begging for a partner, be they gold-digger or sadact. One time I said yes, only to find out minutes later my new girlfriend was 9 years old, at which point I became incredibly disturbed by my participation and logged out. Another time I agreed to see how well he/she would hustle me for my gold. Wasn't subtle. Something like this: noob: "want 2 b my bf" me: "sure, why not.." noob: "free stuff plz" Just another time I wished I could stick my knife into my screen and have it come out the other persons screen, and into their face. :P

I too admire original works although I'm not a fan of all the ones made by stealing anime renders. :P

Thing is, you can say real life is always more important but to a lot of people I don't suppose it really is. Say zaaps1 had spent 20 hours working in-game for the 700k to get that Rune (g). Now, which is more important, eating your dinner before it's slightly cold or losing out on a potential ~17 hours of work profit? When you spend so much time on RS, it's no longer not important. The time you've spent is important, no?

You all seem to be assuming that it would be poorly made or based strictly upon the game.... I think it has AMAZING potential. Seems I must come up with a storyline myself since you're all imagining terrible ones for some reason. :S Ok, so off the top of my head: Some teenagish guy with slightly elongated ears, starts off in a village called lumbridge, something to this effect: http://marksquires.com/Images_Photos/do ... 2002sc.jpg -- Filled out with dialogue and what-not -- I'm thinking he could like, find out he's a elf, and have to go the elf town (I forget the name, I don't play anymore) but he was raised always as human, so he's all like crap at everything, and he has to make a long and interesting journey to the elf place. I just made that up as I was writing it but you get the idea... it could most definitely be done VERY well I think. What's more if it was CGI it'd be immensely interesting (to me at least) to see Varrock, Elf town, the various NPCs and monsters in realistic detail. I'm quite sure my view of the game would change a LOT. From this point on then, imagine if it WAS made well, and was as popular as say Jurassic Park. You're all saying it's a bad idea cuz it would be made badly... but the whole point was not "what if they made an RS movie really badly" :P Meh, screw the whole thing you all seem to have completely missed the point. :x
