  1. Nice idea, only snag, is that a lot of clothing that isn't widely considered armour also has some kind of stat boost attached, so almost everything would be considered armour. I suggest an 'Attire' tab to replace both Costumes and Armour. Weapons would have their own tab still.
  2. Ensnared, would perhaps be a better word? Bewitched? Grasped? Enthralled? Anyhow, I've been playing for around 3 years I believe, on and off.
  3. This is a well pointless poll. Why don't you just say 'Did you start in RS1 or RS2?'... not that that question has any point either. :P Make a pointful poll pl0x
  4. No, notice the 'click here' bit... THAT's where they get you! >_> <_<
  5. Thanks for trying to help us all but these are all well-known ways of getting from place to place. Also, the one to draynor is faster if you walk on the other side of draynor mansion.
  6. On a long time scale the best deal was buying my santa hat at 3.2m XD Phr33 prophit pl0x!11 Also, I bought 10,000 iron ore for 500k, then sold it for 1.1m less than 2 minutes later.
  7. I agree, the OoC are nutters in my eyes but whatever. The song on the first post of this thread is awesome in it's own way, by which I mean it's so bad that it's cool. Oh and Bubsa, at least this guy didn't spend a load of his free time writing songs about RuneScape... I mean seriously what the devil is wrong with you?! Shall we all pitch in and buy Bubsa a life? :P
  8. If you can make 1M an hour, how come it's taken you an entire month to get 4M... you play 1 hour a week or something? :^o
  9. They would never make enough money from it, unless it was one of those game movies that has little to do with the game. :P
  10. I don't know how to play PC, is it really the fastest and easiest way?
  11. I have a few hundred lobsters left, don't REALLY wanna get more but I can... but I'd like to know the best way to train a 94 combat to 100 combat using as little food and time combined as possible please :D
  12. So what "full access" do free players get to any skill? Thus, you're right when you say that, "If it was a trial version, then we would have limited access to all skills...". But you're wrong when you say free players have full access to any skill whatsoever. Anyways, f2p is a trial version of the game. If it was the full game, with the member's as the "expansion", you wouldn't get messages saying "you need to be on a member's server..." etc. Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong. First of all, f2pers have full access to all combat items. Before you go spouting out all the things members have and f2pers don't, think back to when rs first had the f2p/p2p options. There was no dragon, no whips and other such things. They were added AFTER the original p2p came out. Therefore they are all things added to the EXPANSION PACK that is p2p. Technically speaking, as far as full access goes, you can have 1 of 2 views on the subject: 1)Full access means everything that came out when the game was created, which f2pers have. 2)Full access means access to everything currently in the game, which any game with an expansion pack DOESN'T have. I used to play diablo2, and when it came out, the expansion. The expansion had new classes, new monsters and new items, but that didn't make the original game any less of a full game... Also, at the end of d2, you got a video pretty much guaranteeing an expansion pack, which could easily be compared to all the "you must be on a members server to do that" A trial of a game is when you take a full game, and remove most of it, or set a time limit on how long a person can play. An expansion pack is when you take an existing game, and add extra features for those willing to pay for it. Which of these sounds more like rs, which was once f2p ONLY, and merely had new things added on to get people to pay. You are so wrong it's actually quite funny. First off, you say f2p have full access to all combat items... ever heard of dragon items? Yeah, you really made a valid point there. Secondly, what you said that I have now underlined, is true and is shown in RuneScape. When you're F2P you can still see all the p2p skills in your skills page, can you not? And all the p2p spells? And prayers? And the players themselves? That's because it's NOT the full game, many parts are missing. Hence it is a trial version, as such.[/b]
  13. Speaking of heads spazzing out, if I sit on my master chair in my house my head wobbles around like a jack-in-the-box, it's really lame lol Cuz I don't like sitting there, I haven't been to my house in about 2 weeks :P
  14. Dude, wth? We're talking about range, magic shorts, duels and penguins. No one has ever mentioned a maul? 3rd post down, jackass.
  15. Granite maul spec is only 50% drain... of course he can do 2 very quickly..
  16. Ja it's cool, thanks a lot people! I just wondered if it was like one of those things where if you can't do it, you don't have the option :P
  17. Quickest would probably be teleporting, but personally I got 50 magic from like 4 by casting lots and lots of air strikes in port sarim jail hehe :P
  18. Do I need to have 60 smithing to get a shield left half drop? :P Cuz I'm pretty much planning to train on shadow warriors from 92 to 100 combat, I wondered if I need 60 smithing to get the left half, if so I'll train it to 60 first. Thanks!
  19. ROFLMFAO that was awesome dude lmao
  20. Well said, but it will affect me, it will affect everyone. Sure, it's just one day, but it doesn't help the situation, and it certainly doesn't help either! You're teaching them that these things you give them aren't worth much, so they're immediately greedy, you're teaching them they can get things for free, so they're immediately dependant on others. If you really want to help the newbs, you ought to go out to lumbridge and teach them, not give them things. Whenever I see someone in help, I'll teach them how to help themselves. I even took a guy all around RuneScape for dye ingredients last week, and it makes me feel good. I've taught him some things, and shown him the way. If you really want to do good, do that. I ask you one last time, change what you are doing. Don't give them things! And I left because, I'm sorry, but I'd rather do homework or something than pick cabbages, and even worse pick them and then give them away so I've gained nothing. On top of that, doesn't your leader sell them and keep the money? :P I felt like a moony, lol
  21. Hah, I laugh at Party Hat owners. Almost all the people who buy party hats are party hat merchants... the profits come from people trying to buy into it for a great investment (I assume) but to be honest, there's going to come a point where nobody but the merchants can afford them, and they can't make profit off each other since that's their only source of income. Then the prices will stabilise or drop in my opinion, they'll probably all freak out, drop the prices and try to flog them all. Either way, this can't last for much longer.
  22. Euh the last one was only a few months ago. And to be honest, think I'm warped if you will but this event is way, way more damaging that it is good. You people just don't understand do you?? :x How many players in the free worlds actually work for their things? About 70% I'd say, everywhere I go in F2P I'm incessantly harassed for 'free stuff plz' 'i need munny' etcetera.. EVERYONE should work for their wealth, it's bad enough as it is. Now, say you help only 10 newbs, in theory 7 of those will realise what must be done, and get themselves jobs. But thanks to you, showing them that they can get something for absolutely nothing, probably only 2 or 3 will be smart enough to see that's not the way it normally works. The other ~7 will find varrock or falador, and become more of the scum that waste their hours begging, not even wondering how their victims got their wealth. You people and your 'newb appreciation day' are actually perpetuating the downfall of the RuneScape society. Please stop what you're doing now. Or at least rename your event to 'Accelerated RuneScape Degradation Day'. God, this makes me sick. Stop giving them things!! Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish for himself and he'll eat for a lifetime. Give a newb 100gp and he'll be satisfied for an hour, show him the value of work and he'll satisfy himself for his entire gameplay duration :P PLEASE!
  23. You're not a customer you're a free loader. You really need to understand that distinction. He's got you there. On the other hand, you must already know that since you seem to recognize it by using the name 'mr scrounger' But then again, if there was no F2P nobody would get hooked.. :P It's like, if you weren't allowed to give cigarettes to other people, nobody would get hooked on them. I don't know 1 person that started smoking with their own gear. :P
  24. I agree with you completely.. people like you and me are rare now. :( Everywhere I go... I try so hard to be nice, I do things for people, I help them... I expect nothing in return but a thankyou, and I don't even get that. I get a 'ty' if I'm lucky, they don't even bother to type thankyou now. If I'm unlucky, they won't appreciate what I've done and will bother me incessantly for more. :( We should really make a society of our own.
  25. ROFL The blacked out guy didn't say anything funny at all... I think the other one was funnier... so tell me, what are you wearing? *winks* lmao Sorry :P
