  1. what an ironic statement. lol rofl +1. "How hypocritical can YOU be!"
  2. That's not odd - they spend their entire lives there picking cabbage. :S
  3. And how often would Jagex check these trusted programs? Once on the "list", the creator of one could change it so that anyone downloading it, after Jagex has given approval, gets something bad. then not only do you have Jagex stuffing precaution down everyones throat, but they've "encouraged" the very thing they've been warning about. Hmm, Jagex don't seem to like external links though. I'm sure if they ever had a list like that, the programs would be hosted by them. That way any changes would have to go through Jagex.
  4. Precisely. Thankyou for confirming my point! ^^ The solution, is what I've always been wishing for: Some 16/18+ servers! In which there would be no damned censor and no damned children. :P Again, I'd like it to go on record that I know there are some very nice and respectable children playing but as a general rule children are annoying. 16+ servers for the win!! How to stop children getting on these, though, I have no idea. :S
  5. 0/10 - Never before to my recollection. Then again, I'm not often here anyway. :P
  6. You just called yourself an a-hole...You were under 12 once! I was too! You're talking to a bunch of a-holes here... I might just be one of the few that will download anything. I've got limited memory! :XD: Jagex definately are account freaks who want the money from their "precious" members that they barely listen to. Being F2P I do see many people advertising macros/password harvesting sites and more. I've never had the chance to see a d-long or nettles in my inventory but I've seen the [poop] that some users dish out... In the stronghold of security I'm suprised to see that most people don't even pay attention to people advertising 3rd-pps. I visit them though because I'm curious...password scammer? Hacker? Or real? We'll never know unless we TRY. Everyone in RuneScape rarely TRIES stuff when they think of RuneScape. Andrew is the reason that peoples accounts get hacked because he lets more hackers know that it is possible to hack/scam accounts. Way to go Jagex... What can I say? I tried to stay relevant... Exactly. I was speaking from both 3rd hand and 1st hand experience!
  7. A brief explanation of why the (F2P) RuneScape community is as degenerate as it is: I'd say around 80% or more of F2P are 12 years of age or less and, speaking generally, persons of 12 years or less are a-holes. Anyone over 14 could vouch that in real life, 12 year olds and younger are the most annoying forms of life in existence. They act just as they do in RuneScape except in RuneScape they don't have to run away round a corner before they make another pathetic attempt at an insult. ;-) Real life: -12: "****head" *giggles like a girl* 14+: *looks at -12* -12: "come on then" *giggles further* 14+: *walks toward the -12* -12: *retreats to safe distance* "****head" *more giggling* RuneScape: -12: "noob" 14+: "go away" -12: "wama fite in da wild noob" 14+: "ok let's go" -12: "noob" *never goes to the wild, probably more idiocy ensues* To be honest, I would be 100% for banning all players under 16 (to be safe). :P Of course then most of F2P would be gone and probably about 40% of P2P... some may view that as a bad thing. P.S. I realise there are many players of 12 years or less that are very nice and respectable players. :)
  8. Due to a few bad articles, I hadn't read the Tip.It articles for a while but this one was very good!
  9. 2 years but I've quit for long periods, like now. Level 96, 1350 or so total. Been P2P for 5 months total.
  10. As I've found out before, a lot of people have twisted logic and believe that F2P deserve more bank space merely for playing. :-(
  11. Finally an F2Per that's happy with what he's got! :-)
  12. Full rune many times. :( On the other hand, I've gained full rune many times so it doesn't really matter. ^^
  13. I've had this same problem many a time and thanks to Jagex being incompetent and unfair, I've received 2 black marks in the past simply for defending myself well. These days, rather than take measures to stop these idiots or prevent myself from their interaction, I just don't play. The attitude of, I'd say, 90% of F2P players is appalling. :(
  14. I think the greegree's should work anywhere but the wilderness or other PvP areas. We never get anything properly decent from the higher level quests, might aswell not bother.
  15. I'm Mayonaka. I like to think I'm a firm but fair player and quite experienced. Ask me for a favour or help and I'll do everything I can for you. Ask me for free stuff for whatever reason and I'll blow up in your face. :-) Feel free to add me if you need a friend for whatever purpose.
  16. Of COURSE it helps typing speed, but what the hell kind of arguement in RuneScape's favour is that? So would anything else you do on the computer requiring you to type. For the typing speed increase, give credit to computers not RuneScape. Personally I think RuneScape may one day be single-handedly responsible for the degeneration of the future population. :P In other words, RuneScape is killing people's minds. The repetition, the ridiculous overuse of the same, small vocabulary, the '1337speek' and the overall terrible player attitudes (almost entirely in F2P, really) are not good. I agree that basic maths skills will be enhanced and thanks to the game co-ordinators who write the dialogue for NPCs, some English skills may be developed. As far as RuneScape improving our world goes, I give it a -2/5.
  17. This is a very nice idea and a nice thread too, but so were the first 10,000 of these to hit the 'Falador Square' forum. Also, fair play if you thought of it yourself, oblivious to the fact that it's been overdone to hell and back, but is it like a secret law that everyone who starts one of these threads acts as if nobody has ever done this on RS before? :P
  18. You're the first person to suggest you're own name. Sorry for the spam but my ranting is probably more interesting than 75% of these posts anyway. Somebody thank me. :P
  19. Lmao. Sorry, but that must be one of the least interesting things I've ever read.
  20. As with most 'names' threads, this is mostly just people listing their own character names or character names which they think are cool. Not. Interesting. :(
  21. Something... anything... that gets rid of god damn beggers. Kick in the face emote sounds good. Maybe a 1337 emote where your character is depicted pulling the cable out of a computer, then the begger gets kicked offline. :P
  22. Once again I'm astounded by the realism of the RuneScape society. It's quite amusing, really. :-) Clan support is a good idea and I believe it would be beneficial to Jagex to implement.
  23. The internet? I don't know if you've noticed, but not everyone goes yelling around 'OMG LOLS U R NOOB LOLSOELEOLSOLES.' I can see it being censored on RuneScape because it's used by nearly every player as an insult.. But I don't see why it should be banned on the Internet.. Not many people use the word noob, atleast from most games I've played. True that it's used in a degenerate fashion mostly in RuneScape, but don't forget it's the people that play RuneScape that overuse it and I've seen some of those sort in other games too. I don't know about anyone else but the word is ruined and meaningless for me now... I've grown to seriously dislike it, no matter who says it, in what context or where.
  24. Hmmm, I haven't seen anyone wearing one yet but the new heraldic "full"(?) helms look terrible. Besides, they look like meds??
  25. The word noob should be banned from the internet. It's annoying because it's gone wayy too far... nobody can be bothered to be creative with insults anymore. It's just "noob" this and "noob" that. :/ The word no longer holds meaning to me and I'm sure anyone with an ounce of intelligence will agree.
