It is a minor inconvenience, yes, but still I dont get it... Why does Jagex put in an anoyance (and yes it is small, dont need to tell me that) for the people who go to wildy every day in order to make life easier for the noobs who occasionally bewilder themselves in the wrong direction? Obviously those people need to learn a lesson, im serious! I thought that was the way runescape tought its players what is dumb and what is smart, the people who're going to cry about losing their stuff in wildy (and maybe even leaving the game), those people obviously dont even belong here. Anyway, to sum it up; I fail to see the point in this.

I'd probably raise my slayer lvl by one and then go for the basilisks, eventually i'd probably get a head for my skill hall.. Although I guess I wont be mounting it with all the fighting I'd have to do .

I had a go at this some weeks ago, got totally owned. But now I read this guide, I may as well go for it :thumbsup:. BTW, are you sure that your safe when down there after you pull the lever? If I remember correctly I right clicked on one of the other players down there and saw the attack option. Anyway should be rated 8/10 good job :.

Well, it seems other java based games run without any problems, and I (always) choose the recommended world, which always works when i'm at home... It is probably the admin then, he is a kind of noob at his job anyway

I noticed something weird when I was smelting Iron. I used superheat item and i didnt have any ring with me, but no failed ores. :wink:

I dont know exactly what goes wrong, I live in this dormitory and the internet connection goes through a proxy-server. I can only get as far as to the "connecting to update server" and then it takes me to the black screen saying that I cant get online. I've configured my firewall to allow runescape, and ive configured my Java and I spoke to the net admin about a possible external blocking of runescape (a week ago) but it doesnt really work. :wall: I'll check on him again tomorrow to see if actually did any work, but still I would expect him to be done by now... Lol, i cant belive this one is still here. How long has it been? a year or two? Anyway, Jagex seems to be continually avoiding this idea, but I could imagine they would take advantage of it come runescape 3 (if this ever happens). Until then I seriously dont believe anything is going to happen, sry m8 just a disencouraging thought .

Fishing lobsters is pretty fast too, if you dont go bank them.

It obviously sounds like you dont have any goals left. When i dont know what to do i set a goal, ex. gain 30 lvls in that skill to do that quest. Thats what makes the game fun. Your skills are purposeless if u dont have anything you want to achieve with em. Well good luck :.

thx for all the advice dudes, im done firemaking ive made some progress with magic and smithing. Magic is now 46 and smithing is 44 and firemaking 44. Ive made some magic progress by using firestaff and doing fire bolt on the lesser in mage tower, (also telekined a few drops, 2 r med helms). Then i found out i could do superheat item, so i started smithing and smelting in the caves under falador. Then i would proced to the anvil with my bars (steel bars, they do give a lot more xp per time) and smithed and alched. its not a very fast way of gaining mage exp, but its pretty good for smithing, and i always use the fire staff to lower the cost. Its all gonna be better when high alch comes around \. I think ill post a few picks come tommorow.... thx for support guys. But come on its really not that hard to guess wich quest im preparing to do :shame:. Skills: 100 Quest points, 66 Magic, 62 Cooking, 62 Fishing, 45 Smithing, 42 Firemaking and 40 Crafting.

Allthough it seems like you have an overwhelming advantage, you might wanna bring teleport runes just in case (it is pretty wellpopulated by monsters, so u wont have time for that home tele thing...)

Hmm... it seems you all suggest steel. How bout iron, its fairly fast to mine, and gives a good amount of exp. per ore. But i like the idea of buying steel ores and selling the bars. EDIT: btw, guess what i need those lvls for \.

i need to grow some lvls in following skills: Magic 39 (Hopefully ill reach lvl 66) smithing 41 firemaking 35 Im f2p and dont have much mony (Ill get hold of some if necesary!). So... any ideas :-k.

I found it, its that monkey thing staff like kinda thingy. Is it called a monkey greegree? im not sure, but i believe you have 2 of the same kind in 2 different bank spaces. Anyway, those staff like monkey things. Do I get a cookie?

I started collecting boots and gloves when i became member, its really easy to get a whole bunch when fishing bass... But now that i have the big bass in my skills hall i stopped collecting :(.....

If jagex was unable to support rs financially, i think they would end runescape with a little taste, for example with a big event wich ended in a metiorite crash or somthing, that would kill runescape :twisted:

um... i might b wrong but isnt this the wrong place for this post? Sry, havent encountered any lurers, but ive met some noob who tried to scam me in a really lol way :P. It was in fallador i met him, i was wearing full rune and g shield. He tells me that he has a friend whos willing to pay 500k for all my armor, so it was obviously a scam, but what the heck i didnt really have anything else to do, so i followed him to fallador park. He then tells me that his friend is down the mole hole, so he gives me a lit candle and a shovel and we go down there. So were standing right next to that giant mole, and then the noob starts shouting "oh no! my candle has gone out!" It was so pitiful, he really thought I would fall for that.. I then reported him, and made my way to the surface. Never saw that guy again, he probably changed world....
