  1. 2150 pure wins, ~44%, assuming you boost - which less face it, many, mnay people do. The problem (for me) isn't so much the size of the requirement, but rather the fact that it inadvertently encourages people to kill a mini-game. Losing yields no benefits (ticket wise) so why would I bother playing properly, and this feeds the 'leech/boost' system, but A LOT. That is a flaw in the mini-game as much as the requirement Aside from this - I find it completely and utterly ridiculous that they note that there are some ridiculous requirements - either for their size or simply because they 'double up' yet flat out refuse to change/move them to Trim/"True Completion" items. WE HAVE MADE AN ERROR WE IDENTIFY THE ERROR BUT BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED WE WILL JUST MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS. No, you should sack up, apologise for it being stupid, and move it along. Will people be pissed? [bleep], they always are. [New training method] has COMPLETELY WIPED ALL MY ACHIEVEMENTS THIS IS HORRIBLE. So they move the CW trim req off trim all together - oh no, all that time you spent boosting is wasted. What a shame. I would be thrilled if all that time I spent on Castle Wars was wasted. It was a stupid requirement then, its a stupid requirement now, it should be destroyed.
  2. I'd say its probably because they have no intention of updating the free game, so they want the people that will be playing the content to be submitting it.
  3. Had this idea a while back. Re-wrote it and planning on putting it up on RuneLabs. Any Feedback or suggestions about what size it would count as would be helpful. http://[Use Quick Find Code]/a=13/c=DL6LjGEA5j4/sl=0/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?185,186,788,65552805,4,334513296
  4. Once the market becomes saturated enough, this could help me get the pet.
  5. Unchanging would be great if the capes weren't broken at the moment. This is basically admitting the problem and then refusing to change it. Unchanging also means that if in the future J Mods classify something wrong then they can just say that "oh well, we can't change it now". Unchanging is a catch-all to prevent devs from actually listening to player feedback, it should be removed. If all reqs are made to fit these guidelines then they will be naturally unchanging, however deliberately adding in an out if you make a mistake or Jagex wants to ignore player feedback is kind of a slap in the face.
  6. "The Troublesome" title has been found, which should be the last one. Equip Crwys Cape, keep 3 cooking apples and 3 chocolate bars in invent, grab memorium crystal by the meilyr harmony pillars, then click the memorium device by Seren.
  7. Apparently "Lord of the Wait" also requires 90 prayer. https://twitter.com/JagexRaven/status/553480612280279040
  8. The 4 basic God Wars bosses all have a starting drop rate of 1/5k, which increases every 1k kills. So after 1k its 2/5k, after 2k, its 3/5k, etc http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?373,374,807,65550979
  9. "Lord of the Wait" title has been found. Wear Hefin clan cape and rest on Seren.
  10. Not sure where to put this. I guess its kind of a teaser since it'll probably be continued in future updates. Mod Deg has been hiding a trading sequence in his past few updates. You can give the Expired Spin Ticket from "The Mighty Fall" to Wizard Goldberg. Wizard Goldberg will give you a Nearly Boiled Egg. You can give the Nearly Boiled Egg to the Kipple Nano pet from the "Heart of Stone" quest in exchange for some Ruined Essence. That seems to be as far as it goes at the moment.
  11. A member of a team thats supposed to be working on fixing the game as a whole should not be so clearly biased towards one specific group.
  12. When you look at how it was formed, its clear they didn't throw a bone to non-harcore as much as stripped out all the support that was there for non-hardcore pvm. Individually it would seem like nothing, however considering that Hardcore PvM is already the most rewarded part of the game, piling on more was completely unnecessary. They don't even try to make skilling more profitable really. But they continuously bring out updates to make combat more rewarding. Also, combined with Ryan's previous comments about how people that don't do High Level PvM aren't deserving, its problematic. I feel like Ninja team which is supposed to be focused on making the game better and fixing things shouldn't be so clearly biased towards one specific subset. Move Ryan to another team or something and put a more neutral J Mod on the team.
  13. Middle ground wouldn't have required you have the best dps in the group in order to get the drop. Also wouldn't have removed the shop option that would have still taken a lot of work. The only ones they ended up benefiting were specifically the hard core pvm'ers and removing them from others. There were plenty of middle ground solutions in the thread to keep them still accessible. Including requiring them to be bought from the shop in ascending order so that the ones like nex weren't easy to get, or removing the best dps requirement.
  14. Except if you follow the development of them, it started out much more accessible. Originally the plans were: "You have a chance of obtaining the pet as a rare drop from the relevant boss. It looks like a large amount of people like RNG and they would like to see the pets introduced at a rare rate. This will allow the pets to stay prestigious and rare as they will not easily be obtained. You can obtain the pet after reaching a specific amount of kills on the relevant boss assuming you have not already obtained it. On the flip side of this there are a large amount of players who dislike RNG as they feel it's unfair that they may have killed a boss numerous times already and not received a rare drop; Vitalis from Vorago is a good example. This will allow players who have dedicated a lot of time to killing the boss to still be rewarded at the end of it. Something to bare in mind is that even though this will be a 100% guaranteed drop, the target kills required will be extremely high. You can purchase any of the pets from Deaths store for a large amount of reaper points. There are some bosses in RuneScape that require a group to kill and there are a large amount of players who dislike group bossing. Adding the ability to purchase these will allow these players to still obtain the pets from the bosses that require a group. These will of course be very expensive as the aim would be that players do not use the store to purchase pets unless they really need to. As a rough guideline, we're talking at least 2x or maybe even 3x the price of a Hydrix." However, the hardcore PvM'ers gradually eroded away the ability to get them in anyway besides having the best dps on the kill.
  15. Basically, Mod Ryan is a hardcore PvM'er, and whenever other hardcore PvM'ers say anything he is persuaded by them to change it to suit them because its already his main mindset. Its happened over several updates. He's out of touch with any players except the hardcore PvM'ers because he refuses to listen.
  16. Pets are generally non-canon, like solomon overrides
  17. It has an archaic training method to basically destroy and make 1000s of the same thing w/o actually contributing a single thing. It also basically offers very very few things that are useful. Only things that are useful is the Gilded Altar and storage room. Too be fair, thats most skills. Smithing brings in way too many finished goods so they need to be destroyed from alchs. Firemaking is destroying. Crafting, way too many things. etc.
  18. Yea, just checked and got a team card for today. If you still need just add me and let me know

  20. The time spread you gave seemed pretty fair time zone wise, it just doesn't fit your personal schedule. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they made it more common, but it wasn't broken or even necessarily bad before. Ignoring time zones would be like having it every 12 hours, or every 8 hours so it doesn't rotate around and hit a bunch of different times during the day. A free for all event isn't bad for masses of people, especially when the only reward is a bit of summoning exp. I don't really like the tinsel snake event even now, but I think its just 2 seperate sets of mechanics designed for two different goals. As far as the effects, makes a bit more sense there, but considering the only thing that seems to be effects so far was gazes I'm not surprised they didn't think to add it there. Hopefully with this effect over cape slot they'll think outside of eye re-colourings in the future for effects,
  21. With 14 hour spawns it would rotate around so that each time zone would have a decent chance at various times through the month. It wouldn't be common but everyone should get a chance, and its not like snowverload gives any special rewards that makes it unfair if you don't get a chance to kill it daily, its just a cool little bonus boss. Same with tinsel snakes, stealing seemed fine to me because its just some summoning exp you get for it. If you have your snakes stolen its not a big idea. Moving the snow effect to the effect slot is cool, but since it seemed to be focused on the back I can understand cape slot as well. Cracker is the only one I can say was completely flawed since pulling it is so random and it does give a limited time emote. The rest weren't flawed so much as disliked.
  22. I actually am very happy about all of that. You see it as more broken content being released, I see it as Jagex willing to admit when things aren't great and willing to fix it. Honestly, they could have left all of them because while these fixes make things better, they weren't broken. Loot beam was underwhelming but till a different coloured beam, tinsel snakes worked with theft, snowverload could have stayed rare without any major problems, cracker wouldn't be the first reward that was annoyingly timed, and snowstormer was again underwhelming but not broken. They're taking more feedback though, and thats a good thing.
  23. yea, it could be reworks versus inventor, and tbh I don't know which way I'll vote. If its that then I will wait to hear their pitches.
  24. I don't know, at least for lore people it seemed pretty highly anticipated, it gets brought up decently often. Visiting his homeworld, exploring his origins as well as what the second elder artifact he had was. Also seeing Aviansie culture. Was supposed to be an intermediate quest, but lore heavy
  25. Could be quests I suppose with that, Raven and Ana both have pretty highly anticipated quests that they would write, but each would take a decent amount of dev resources. Rite of Passage for Raven, or the next Myreque quest for Ana. Could be something else completely, but they both tend to work on unrelated updates so its the only thing I can think of.
