The effects of diabetes type 1 non insulin dependent can be reduced to pretty much nothing by healthy eating and exercise - This was proved on the biggest loser by one of our very own Australian, Shaun. The doctor couldn't find any trace of it existing in his body after he lost something like 70 odd kilos. Speed - I read your post, did you read mine?

Depends what type of diabetes. If you developed it from eating too much, you don't have my sympathy. Try eating healthier, that alone can rid your body of the medical condition.

The fact that you came in here, blaming atheists for something religion caused, even if in an incorrect, immoral way is a subjective pedestal in itself. The fact that you won't even apologize for making a statement which was disproved, just goes to show how high up on that subjective pedestal you put it too. I'm neither atheist or Christian so I'm putting neither on any stool. It's time to agree to disagree and move on, whether you're going to apologize for the statement you made or not. Keep your pride mate lol

I've already said in an earlier post as well if it's a medical reason, you shouldn't be allowed to pay for two seats. For people who can't stop shoving hamburgers in their gob for lunch every day, pay the price! You're complaining about the cost of taking up two seats, wow try adding up the cost to evacuate your body out of your bed and have a custom made coffin! Who do think that is going to affect speed? And I don't judge someone before knowing anything about them, just because some obese person is sitting next to me doesn't mean they necessarily eat themselves to death! And even if I do think the coughing, wheezing person eating 2 mega pop corns to himself is disgusting, it isn't my final thought, people change my mind all the time but it is my first impression. My partner lost 50 kilos, that's nearly 100 pounds in a couple of months. How much did he spend? $0 he actually made money by buying healthier food instead of crap. He walked, ran every day and drank water instead of soda. Wow, that was really pointless and expensive... If my aforementioned post doesn't cut it for you enough...Behavioural therapy for christ sake, if it's that freaking bad to the point that you can't control yourself GET HELP! Free counselling is around everywhere, just as you can learn a behaviour like putting food constantly in your mouth and never exercising you can unlearn it. Free counselling is literally everywhere, if you actually decided to help yourself and get off your [wagon] to look, you might find that it's quite easily and readily available. The internet - the same advice as a personal trainer there is also magazines to buy about healthy lifestyles. Cut the KFC out of your lunch that week and you've just paid for it. The way you think affects the way you look on the outside. If you keep crying, why me, why me, why me your outside is going to look the same. If you can look in a mirror and say hey, I have a problem but I believe that I deserve to lose weight, a magical thing happens... Your outside decides it wants to cooperate when you give it what it deserves. Yes many people are depressed because they are obese but within saying that, many people are depressed because of the food they put in their mouth to get that way. My final conclusion - People who want help -> get help -> change their way of thinking -> changes way of eating -> increased energy for exercise -> leads to results -> results leads to wanting to repeat the behaviour -> you become more positive -> your self esteem improves -> you become a whole new person who is both healthy and happy. People who make excuses -> find excuses not to get help -> more negative thoughts -> goes to the fridge to eat more food -> it creates a comfort zone/ lack of energy to try new things -> leads to worse results -> results that make you repeat the behaviour cycle -> you become more negative -> your self esteem gets worse -> you become a whole new person who is now very unhealthy and very unhappy. PROOF - That your thoughts alone can change your behaviour. Cut the personal trainer crap - All you need is a whole new thinking process. This has been proven on many reality tv shows where people have been over 200 kg. Dr Phil as an example. One super obese guy cut out the ice cream, the soda and exercised in his arm chair before he could move! Lost over 130 kilos! At the end of the day life speaks for itself and not only just in weight - people who make excuses get the same result, the same result, the same result and stay stuck in the position they're in. Bills, bills, bills, debt, debt, debt, food, food, food. People who snap out of that mind frame, the sky is the limit - They're the people who go okay, I can't find anything right now to help me but I'm not giving up, there has to be a way and I'm going to find a way. I deserve the best in life and I'm sure as hell going to find it. If life was easy, everyone would succeed. Struggles are just what people need or if they went straight to the top without learning these things, they would fall.

There's a difference though. Like if you're fat (hell I'm not skinny but I'm also pregnant lol) I don't mind shuffling over a little, its no big deal. But when someone has me shoved against the other side of the glass, falls asleep, I need to pee asap before I do it in the seat NO THANK YOU! lol Even if they were awake, man... the other day Some obese dude sat behind me in the theater and was coughing and wheezing and shoving his face with food the entire movie. It was my problem for not moving though, but it's not like you can do that on a plane lol

Mate trust me, people who want help get help. There is freaking loads of help available. People who make excuses for themselves don't get anywhere nor have a high success rate anyway.

Paying $800 for my [wagon] to fit in two seats is enough motivation for me.
-
The way I see it, I'm paying for my flight too and personally, I don't want to be a pregnant woman needing to go to the bathroom trapped behind someone's fat [wagon]. Call me selfish but I'd rather you pay extra and have two seats to yourself. You could lose weight before your holiday plans. Not only that, where do you draw the line? An obese person? A seriously obese person who now weighs 300 kilos by non disease factors, ate themselves to death and is now asking airlines to make their seats bigger? Then has half a nerve to say they deserve a comfortable journey as well by making other airline users uncomfortable and skimping on airline costs? I can guarantee your flight would be much more comfortable if you lost weight! Next they'll be angry because of the meal portion sizes and feel discriminated against...movie theater seats, large benches in shopping malls, extra room on their washing lines, larger sofa volume, think about it. No offense but "I'm fat so everyone needs to accommodate my needs because I can't be stuffed to make myself healthier" doesn't sit with me. If you're obese and deserve the best like everyone else then chances are you should start believing in yourself and GIVE YOURSELF the best, lose weight! Not only that, maybe if it cost you $800 instead of $400 it will give you the motivation to do something about your situation. Have a feeling not many people are going to like me after this post :D

I lol'd. When you show people they don't get to you, they become even more aggravated. I'm overly nice to people who try to get on my nerves, it pisses them off even more. If you could imagine them standing in a line, going psycho, while you keep your cool and offering to help them... Every customer and his dog (not literally.. lol) would be on your side thinking "wow what a psycho woman.." Sometimes you can't hold your tongue though. In my younger years I got told I didn't have a brain by a customer then was asked to agree with her. I laughed at her and said "yeah you're obviously not so bright yourself mam or you'd be earning enough money to order your f*cking coffee from Starbucks instead of McDonalds."

Kyle - He's 18 and pretty much tells me everything. There isn't much I don't know about him. Danial - He's 20 and is very secretive. Nobody in my family knows much about him, he doesn't open up. He's never had a girlfriend, he can sometimes be extremely arrogant and a little pig headed. He does see himself as superior to people around him and sometimes needs a reality check. He is often selfish, thinks of his own needs before others on most occasions. He once made me walk in a hail storm at 9pm at night because I didn't have $5 to pay him for petrol, the day after somebody was raped at that train station. A smaller example, dad gave us money to order pizzas so he ordered everything he ate and nothing that anybody else ate. On the plus side, despite some of his negative traits he has a soft heart. I was offended by a joke he made about not wanting to live here because of the baby and he cried because he felt bad. Ever since I was about 3-4 months pregnant he has been a good brother to me. He asks if I need things being brought home, drives extra carefully, asks me if I want to go with him to get some dinner. He's a weird one.. you never know what mood he's in and we wouldn't know if he had a girlfriend anyway because he doesn't like anybody to know about his life. It's been a struggle for me to mend the relationship between us because he has always been a jerk to me, despite how much I've done for him. He was partially deaf from the age of 5 and I think he forgets all the times I took the time to teach him sign language, took him to see the policemen and fire fighters because he could hear loud sirens, bashed up all his bullies, taught him how to read and pronounce words with him every night until he fixed his stuttering. My mum - My mum was absent from my life for some of the most critical parts, never got to hear "I love you" or do anything special with her. There was a lot of things I'll never speak about on here. At one point I refused to call her my mother. It's only been the last year I've forgiven her and she is shaping up to be the best mum she could ever be. I think she is going to make the greatest grandma, she is obsessed with my little boy and he's not even born yet. I'm glad the heart of stone melted in to a heart of gold. My dad - My hero in life. He pretty much shaped most of my personality and taught me to stick up for myself. Taught me a fantastic work ethic, encouraged me in school, supported whatever I want to do in life. I learned to work with him as a team rather than head butting each other with our stubbornness.

To be honest I agree unless there is a medical certificate you can supply. I'm all for people who are happy with being that overweight it's none of my business and if it makes them happy, be fat. However, to take up one extra potential passengers seat that could ruin someones flight that day... I'm going to have to agree with this one. If there is a medical problem, it should be covered. I'm not for penalizing somebody over a disability they have no control over. Where as if you eat too much and your butt needs two seats, then pay up. Zon also raises a good point.

Coke. I'm not a big drinker of either but my lil boy seems to like it.. vanilla coke to be specific.

Quite true but it was still religiously motivated.

Insane - Hitler was a hardcore Christian (Roman Catholic if you want to get technical) who prescribed to his own radical Christian ideas. Aka Jesus as a warrior against the Jewish people. I made a post about that so you probably either disregarded it or haven't read it yet. Secondly, he wasn't a social nor to say regular Darwinist. Rather than believing the German race should "wipe out" all others he wanted to breed a master race. This is eugenics not Darwinism. So religion motivations did allow for the justification of exterminating the Jewish race. You can actually find that source on the same Wiki article you presented me with lol maybe you overlooked it (found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler#Religious_beliefs) Steigmann-Gall, Richard. The Holy Reich, Nazi Conceptions of Christianity, 19191945. Kent State University, Ohio: Cambridge University Press - as cited from your wiki article. I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so. (Adolf Hitler, from John Toland [Pulitzer Prize winner], Adolf Hitler, New York: Anchor Publishing, 1992, p. 507.) Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord. (Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Ralph Mannheim, ed., New York: Mariner Books, 1999, p. 65.) I never used to know anything about the guy until I dated a man who decided to add hundreds of history books to my psychology collection lol
-
That's right. However, he had a radical Christian belief. It has been found in his records (if you will) that he altered some parts of the bible that he didn't like. Rather than having Jesus as a saviour, he created an alternative version where Jesus was a fighter against the Jewish people. It was from this belief that he began to imprison and treat the Jews as poorly as he did. Secondly, the interbreeding of Jews prevented Hitler from breeding his master race which also contributed to his plan of mass extermination.
-
To be honest I didn't read your post properly I was on my way out the door. Well technically your first sentence is true. A lot of events happening in the 20th century were politically not religiously motivated. However, as others have pointed out Darwinism had nothing to do with WW2 rather, from one mans madness (Adolf Hitler). While that's no justification for the holocaust it explains why the Nazi's did what they did. Hitler's extermination of the Jews was religiously motivated.

The Stupidest Thing Anyone Has Ever Said To You
IGoddessI replied to fakeitormakeit's topic in Off-Topic
That's why you're a check out operator and not a supervisor nor a manager lol When you start to actually give a crap about your job, people could almost rank you accordingly :P You've only just turned 17 so maybe you're still learning ;) -
Happy birthday babe hope you have a wonderful day. Are you having a party of some sort? And why are you so keen to move out next year, it's expensive out there lol

Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -6.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.72 Smack bang on Nelson Mandela

Or is it because religion somehow got involved in politics? US in particular. Not only that, broadcasting religious, political views in the Middle East is offensive specifically to Muslims... lol

^ Not good for customers with attention to detail, especially if they can link it back to you. I check everything when I get something back. I picked faults like a hawk picking my new car and made them bring the price down nearly 2 grand and get them fixed. When we got our other car fixed, items in the back seat had moved and I dobbed the bugger in.
-
I don't have the problem of dealing with angry customers, the customers I get for my business actually want the products lol They come to me :P I've never done anything really bad at most I can think of two things. One guy I was absolutely nice to and something wasn't even my fault but he told me I must not have a brain in my head, swore at me and put me down... So I splashed dirty dish water on his nachos lol and we gathered around to see him eat every last one. The other I just told to leave... :P

I was going to take one on Monday when I get my new car so I could post them on here :D so keep your eyes out tomorrow afternoon for the big lump hehe and yes - 4 days away from 6 months (Brent felt him kicking for the first time today and it was a nice hard one too)
