To you I say: HAH! We have to do that every year. Teaching finishes around the 8th of December, exams start around the 20th of January. Year in, year out. The same happens for the May/June exams, teaching finishes in April. Well I'm being positive. Chances are they strike into February and I lose my semester along with the money I have paid for it.

I hate that our university professors are going on strike and I will have to write my exams at least one month after my last class.

Ye Bruins got decimated in the 3rd period, albeit you scored 2 goals. Your 2nd goal was on your third shot of the period (Leafs had 12 at that point), and because Gill made a stupid mistake. Your 3rd goal was a result of McCabe doing whatever to his knee, and now he's injured. Leafs can't catch a break. I'm not sure what the shot total was, but I can guarantee Toronto had many, many more shots than Boston did. TO deserved to win the game, based on the 3rd period I watched. Enough with the strange typing...For me... You had both Sundin and Raycroft back. Compare that to the lost of McCabe. Not too bad, is it? Well, you've proved either the Leafs take a lot of random shots on goal, or Tim Thomas is a good goalie. I'll take the latter. You say Gill made a stupid mistake, I say it was a stupid mistake to let him out of Boston. Gill and Chara on the same line...Intimidating... Almost twice as many shots. Thomas kept you in it.

I spilled a glass full of iced tea (here in Canada, iced tea is VERY sugary) on my Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop this summer - I just tried it as best I could, waited a few hours, and everything worked fine. The keys were sticky for a bit, but eventually everything was back to normal (I'm typing on it for this post!).

That's where things get weird. In fact thats where things get very simple...and you realise (as much as anything can be realised if there is no free will with which to realise) that it doesn't matter, because whatever you were doing before you "realised" was what you were destined to do, because you had no free will not to. So there is no need to try to change anything your doing (which is of course impossible if you have no free will), as you were destined to do it anyway. Yea, I never said it wasn't simple. I just said it was weird. I'll stick with my free will, thank you very much :P (which is also simple, unless you're a materialist)

Yes, I have resigned from my position as moderator. My reasons for leaving will be kept between me and the staff, so don't bother asking :P. I wish I could stay on, as I really enjoy the offtopic community, but there were some things within my position that I had had enough of. I may return one day, but that remains to be seen and if it does happen, it's quite a long way off. I'll still be around posting. Sorry I can't be more specific but getting into too much detail wouldn't be fair to the staff. Also, don't start a petition to get me back - it was my choice to leave, I wasn't forced out in the slightest. See you around :)

This is old old news. Its just the power cable, and this was done almost two years ago. You are safe if it hasn't cought fire yet. oh didnt notice the date, but my dad said he saw a news thing on it last night :uhh: so i guess we'll just have to watch :-# You can get a free power cord from them that alleviates this problem. We did and we hadn't even had problems with our previous cord.

I think this is it (although I'm not American), and there's huge problems on the US-Mexican border. I'm sure they don't get too many illegal immigrants coming from Canada :P
