Do you give money to the homeless?
I think you might be thinking of this (she made over $50/hr)

respect for ones parents
That would be too conservative. And as all conservative beliefs are holding society back, it shouldn't happen.

Wal-Mart's New Policy on Holidays
Good. The whole pretending Christmas didn't exist and that the "holidays" just so happened to revolve around December. 25 was getting to me.

NHL
*shrugs*. They don't have Sundin right now. Aubin played stellar but with a five day break prior to the game the Leafs played very rusty. Every deflection seemed to go to the Bruins and every shot the Leafs took seemed to careen off of someone's leg/stick.

what kind of grades do you get?
I hate to say it, but that was back then. Nowadays you couldn't become a garbage collector without a highschool diploma where I live.

âš£25 per day to drive an SUV in London
THAT is what I hate HATE HATE about most 'SUV' drivers. They don't buy it for its primary purpose; they buy it as a status symbol and they are arrogant. People who use it for what it is meant to be used for - no problem. It's the illegal turns that bug me the most :P Turn into the closest lane, and SIGNAL!

Lol, I thought you would sympathize with me given calls against Edmonton this year (Ghost hand pass come to mind?)

NHL
Sens beat Buffalo 4-2 despite bias referreeing :D (Biron played the puck in the forbidden area twice, no call. Every time Biron touched the puck the play was whistled dead before Sens could get the puck free and at one point Emery was sitting on the puck for ~20 seconds before the ref whistled the play)

âš£25 per day to drive an SUV in London
That's what I've always heard as well... So why not buy a Hummer? The point is, safe drivers make safe vehicles. If you don't trust other drivers, then why not buy the biggest freaking vehicle ever? Answer: You have to draw the line somewhere. The question is where. @BTTF: I'm not saying everybody owns an SUV for trivial reasons. But if you live where I live, every other vehicle is an SUV. I've never seen one of them hauling anything other than a person in a suit/blouse/dress.

âš£25 per day to drive an SUV in London
Should've gotten a minivan. More ecconomical. Minivans are ugly. Silly me. I would have thought that saving $20000 on the vehicle, $100/tank in gas and saving the environment was worth having an "ugly" vehicle.

Best Sports Media Call?
Any goal scoring calls by Rick Jeanerette (Buffalo Sabres). If you want to hear some of the stuff. Go to the space that is my/rickjeanneret (yes, spelling IS wrong, but it's got some sweet goal calls, you'll be laughing for sure).

âš£25 per day to drive an SUV in London
That's why I hate SUVs. The people that drive them are people so addicted to their office, and probably afraid to actually use it for what it's designed for. Instead it's become the status symbol of the man who's lost his heart.

TIF: Help Me Decide
I would recommend getting a laptop for university. It's up in the air for me because of your timing - buying a laptop now would be a bad idea, I think. Especially if you're going to go mac, since they have random large drops in pricing. If you want a cheap desktop to tide you over until university, get a Dell. They may have a bad rep around Ontario, but even if their hardware goes out on you, they have good warranties to keep you covered. I'd suggest getting a cheap desktop now, and then a laptop for university, if you can afford it. That way in two years we'll be able to tell more if buying a mac is worth it - it gives you some time to see what will happen in the PC/Mac front.

Best extensions for ff 2.0
Is MouseGestures out for FF2.0 yet? I'm still using 1.5. If so, that's a good one.

âš£25 per day to drive an SUV in London
I'm pretty certain american 'SUVs' are bigger than European ones. Just about every american car I've set eyes on in person has been bigger than European cars. Yep, it's true. Although I have to agree with what Bari said about having headlights in your eyes, it's a pain. I'm pretty sure SUVs are my pet peeve.

That's excellent. I wish they would do that here, it's disgusting how many SUVs there are.

Violent video game adverts. (Plus, it's Rememberance Day)
That's not to say the car had no part in it. It's a complex cause; although the person is primarily responsible, if they didn't have a car, it wouldn't have happened.

lol slightly embrarrased by this but....
I was thinking though - what if you have over a page worth of stickies? :P

So.. remember my thread about not wanting to join basketball
Bad advice.. If he takes up skateboarding he's just a poser. And it seems to me jocks get more girls than skaters since skaters tend to fall into the who emo scene. (No, we're not starting an emo bashing session here.). Most preppy girls are hot, it's harder to find an emo girl that's hot. If he wants to go skater, I'll support him just so long as he isn't just becoming a poser. Though he'd better not become emo all of a sudden. Since when did having a girlfriend become all about being her being hot? I'd take an ugly girl with a great personality any day. For those of you who think otherwise, I think a good look at this book might change your mind "Stargirl" - Jerry Spinelli Really did change my whole thought on stuff like that.. Sorry to pull this off topic but.. I only let my standards slip so far before I flat out say no to a girl. Yeah, I've been asked out my some pretty ugly girls. No, I didn't give them a chance. Shallow? Probably, but I wasn't attracted to them at all. Without at least some attraction a relationship would never work out for me. I'd wind up getting smacked/dumped for looking at other girls or I'd end up cheating. There's a lot of girls in my school I am physically attracted to but I'm, erm, tied down at the moment so they can wait. Of course I love a girl with a great personality, but I'd hope the body is just as good. Am responding to this via the (relationship) sticky to keep this from getting pulled off topic.

It's about time someone reported this :|

three treasure chests
Your probability of getting a prize is 1 either way. There are three chests, and a prize in two. If you get two picks, worst case scenario your first pick is wrong, and then for the second you're guaranteed a prize.

The Prestige... anyone seen it?
Same here. It was so shocking and unpredictable.

Flying Car captured by Google Earth?!
The shadows are at an equal angle. They're just not as visible because (assuming the car is flying) there's room under the car to see more.

NHL
That was disgusting. If the knee-on-knee was intentional (I couldn't tell from the replay), he should be out for atleast as long as Smyth - maybe more, seeing as Smyth is tons more valuable than he. I believe he is healthy - but his wife/partner/girlfriend/thing just had their first child so he went home for that - I'm not sure how long he will be there.
