For your ring finger: If you're looking to increase your accuracy, for hitting the right frets, I try putting my fingers in a dominant 7th bar chord (for example) 2 2 3 2 4 2 and just slamming them down on the fret in the right locations, after a while, your accuracy really improves. I also hit frets without strumming, and since i have an acoustic, it makes a sound so I can tell if I'm doing it right (if I hammer hard enough - the harder you hammer, the more sound it makes and the harder it is to be accurate). Or for your ring and pinky, try this dominant chord. 2 4 2 4 2 2 and see if you can hear the G string after your hammer your fingers on. (if you aren't accurate one of your "4th fret fingers" (ring/pinky) will be resting on the G) Basically I just make things hard for myself and eventually it becomes easy. Also - I just realized that I play the blues scale with my index and ring finger - try that - playing the base note with your index and hammering two frets about with your ring and moving up the strings.

Well, it's hard to tell these days. :? Anyways... I'm not sure how much more to explain. all I'm saying is that subatomic particles pop in and out of existence due to the uncertainty principle. Because the uncertainty principle is not just about location and acceleration; it is also about time and energy. That is, the more that is known about the time, the less there is known about the energy. That's why in VERY short time spans (like one billionth of a billionth of a second), energy suddenly comes and dissipates for no reason. Forgive my ignorance of quantum physics, but this uncertainty principle simply states that values cannot be assigned to times/acceleration, etc of particles. So when energy suddenly comes and dissipates, a. How are we supposed to know that energy is coming and dissipating, and when, if this principle states that we cannot know this. b. Again, if we cannot assign values to this 'energy', this energy just 'coming into existence' would appear to be the knowledge of the energy, not the energy itself, since we cannot assign values to it. Even if I'm wrong, the end result is that the energy dissipates in a billionth of a billionth of a second - the energy making up this universe has certainly been around much longer than that!

Okay, when John Mayer first came out I wasn't a fan at all... his "body is a wonderland" and "come back to bed"... songs I just don't want to listen to. But in this new album his style is completely revamped - it's back to blues, and it's awesome. He starts off the album with the song "who did you think I was?"... and it's him almost denying his old stuff. The girls still love him because he's John Mayer... and now the guys are starting to get into him because the music is (finally imo) enjoyable. If he meant to do this, it's pretty brilliant on his part. Has anyone heard this new stuff?

I have to go with Jerry Seinfeld - even if it's not his standup stuff, his show is probably still the funniest show in television imo.

Yes I've had the very same happen to me. In fact, throat pain (is it where every time you swallow it feels like you're swallowing razor blades? I hate that....) is the only pain to keep me up. Muscle and general body soreness makes me fall asleep right away.

Oh man... I am so obsessed with ping pong right now... and at the risk of sounding arrogant, I've gotten quite good. Best thing is to not try so hard. To smash the ball good, just make sure it's in that "hanging" mode, inbetween going up and coming down. Then for a backhand smash, just click/curl your wrist up and over as you're hittng the ball to give it some overspin and you're good. For a forehand smash, just make sure your arm is almost fully extended, and again, curl it over into overspin and move your arm laterally only. Try and play with your backhand for receiving hits.
