You'll have to do the Shilo Village Quest to enter the Village. However, there is a method to avoid using the village bank. Instead have the Ess noted in your invent. Sell it to the General Store then buy it back un-noted.

One whole forum dedicated to player events seems a bit steep. Why not have a Community forum? For members to post their events; new members to introduce themselves; and for members to find groups of Tip.Iters for KBD, KQ trips etc. This would cut down on clutter in the General Forums.
