Maybe archers don't have to benefit...hehe...that was the idea behind the karajma dungeon with the metal dragons ya know. Anywho, I'm not saying EVERY monster should be able to run. Obviuosly that would be very bad around lumby...but in far away places it would add a neat flare, I believe. I just like the idea because it allows for more flexibility and variety in runescape, which usually means more fun. :)

About the drop from the new monster...if you didn't notice, they updated the hiscores page and took the dragon pick out...hehehe. As an 86 miner, I'd love to have a dragon pick.

A mere 127,440,000 tokkul to buy all of those chaos runes. ;)

I think my level 90 magic will finally come in handy...muahahaha!!!! But really, I am very anxious to find out what the new item is. I have a feeling that it will be something worthwhile this time.

2001? What you smokin? That's when runescape origionally came out I believe. Runescape 2 came out a little more than a year ago last December I thought. Either way, the picture's not THAT old. One of the last things Zezima did was get to 126 combat.

hobgoblin, that picture was taken right when runecrafting came out (or nearly)...so that was...a little over a year ago. EDIT: I can't remember for sure, but I think runecrafting came out along with the release of rs2.

These are nice goals...but...what about higher level players? (or just people with more time  ) I'd think something along these lines... 1. Get at least one 99 skill 2. Reach 100 combat 3. Complete all quests 4. Get at least one p hat 5. Get 10 mil in cash (the above may do this) 6. Be able to kill dusties (65 slayer) 7. Get at least one item from running barrows 8. Go on a KQueen hunting trip 9. Complete the Mage Arena mini-quest 10. Get a picture with Zezima (as the other guy said, and I think it's a good goal) Here's my picture with him. This was when runecrafting came out, and Zezima and myself were the only two crafters here. Naturally, he had already figured out the runner idea, so he had two of them. At the time, only 95 other people besides myself could craft cosmics. He's on the right. And yes, he was only 118 combat in this picture.

*sigh* Increase their roaming area, I never said anything about completely taking it away! They could just have a larger area for the monster to roam in. Anywho, perhaps it would force you to take damage to run? Instead of running, you might have to fight instead. It may be a better option to kill the monster rather than run and have it keep hitting you. Or, if you are confident enough, run until it stops following you...although it could be a bit. :) The thing is, this would have to be used creatively. But I believe it could be used. EDIT: It would require a little more thinking, and a little more tactic. If an npc could run, it would add a degree of complexity to the situation...you'd have to adapt...have to change. Although I know change is something a lot of runescapers can't handle very well.... :?

Instead of the normal npc (monster) that pursues you by walking behind you...there should be an NPC that actually RUNS after you! Just imagine, a bunch of shadow wraiths running after you in a multi combat zone, wielding scythes, and all of them are attacking you while you run for your life. If you turn on your volume, they could make screams that could send chills down your spine. *Morytania area hint hint* Or maybe a hellhound that actually charges after you, and maybe could run even faster than you! Sounds pretty darn cool to me. :) The area that an npc can wander around could be enormously increased so that the NPC could run after a player for a good amount of time. Right now they'll only follow you for a screen's length or two. If a monster was truly aggressive, it would pursue you for a very long time, perhaps even to the death. They could run at different speeds, perhaps slightly faster than a player's walk pace, the same pace as a player can run, or even much faster than the player can run to be inescapable. This could entirely change the dynamics and mood of an entire area. It would make the game feel a little more realistic, while also providing a new and exciting challenge to questers or adventurers. Think of a monster that could really benefit from running... Anyone else agree with me?

As long as you didn't directly connect or share any files with him, you are fine. However, if you DID directly connect or share files...and if he knows what he's doing, he'll find you. I could find out exactly where you live and almost everything I would ever want to know about you from just that simple action of you connecting with me, so trust my knowledge on this. If anything, just get some anti-spyware stuff...if you're up for it, hijackthis is a great program, provided you know what to do with the info you're given. :D

How much time u spend on runescape a week?
gonpost replied to meatbag66's topic in General Discussion
I play...well now...about two hours a week. School has consumed a large portion of my free time, and also, i have put everything else in my life as a priority above runescape. It's a game, it can wait. I should go out with my friends elsewhere when I can. Back in 8th-9th grade...a good number of years ago now...*nostalgia* oh yeah...I used to play an average of 20 hours a week or so. Then again every 6 months or so I would quit for about 3 months. Anywho...it's just a game. It's fun at least. :D -
What are the results of the mass ban - higher prices
gonpost replied to Nazgul740's topic in General Discussion
They don't IP ban...there's no reason too. For instance, I have a static IP on cable, but I can get a new one by simply releasing and renewing my IP. I could change it no problem... I think that Adam007 pretty much nailed it on the head. 15,000 players out of the 100,000's that play is very little. -
I don't think they do...I'm sure some level 90 slayers killed them for a while...and I'm sure someone would have asked Jagex by now if anything new came out. Oh, and btw, I really like your sig. :D

"Ok, so I just bought 20k nats, I'm planning on Runecrafting them, as you do. I've never tried the abyss and I was curious, is the abyss 'really' such a time saver when crafting nature runes?" I think you meant to say 20k ess. But yes, it's really worth it. "Also, I only have one glory ammy but I'm sure I can buy a few more. And if so, what would be the required minimum ammount of Glory amulets to have to make it a large time saver and not having to go to to Hero's Guild so often." You CAN do that...however...unless you have around 10 glories, I woldn't. Personally, I use ancient magicks. If you have ancient magicks you can teleport very close to edgeville. I highly suggest doing desert treasure before using the abyss. "Also is there an easier way to do it without Glory Amulets and also without Ancients teleport?" None that I know of.

Hmm....try this. It's what I wear. I know you don't have the money for a white p hat, but you can try other things. I wore a white berret before I got my p hat.

Meh...I just use world 65 or 66 all the time. Good ol' Seattle servers work great. The homeworld is a nice idea...but...meh...
-
Rather odd bug... I see why some people say the second looks fake, mainly because if you look at the squares, the prayer icon isn't lined up correctly. However, he could have been moving, and you really have no reason to be making this up... Send this in to Jagex and see what they say...I'd be interested.

Actually, 8hp isn't all that bad... If nats didn't cost as much as they did, the spell would actually be worth casting. Anywho, it's definately a better spell to cast for getting pizazz points...

New Update!: Age Needed For Runescape?! (discussion)
gonpost replied to namename's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Actually, it's probably some legal thing that they have to do. Granted it's a silly law, seeing as anyone can check the "i'm at least 13 years old" box, but it looks nice. It's a very common thing for games like this to do actually. -
That'd probably be it. It might be a bit taxing on the servers too...though I'm not totally sure on that.
-
Realism is beside the point. Chairs, beds, etc, merely add to the atmosphere. Just as plants and flowers are apropos outside, chairs and beds are apropos indoors. Why the heck not. :D
-
Amen. I've got 98 fletching too...way to go.

Hehe I really like this one. Human: Do you believe in God? Skeet: Of course I believe in God, . Human: Why do you believe in God? Skeet: The Bible tells us to believe in God. Human: Why do you follow the Bible? Skeet: It was the only thing I could think of. EDIT: After further questioning, I found out this: Human: Why do you believe in Jesus? Skeet: My beliefs were programmed by my botmaster.
