unbug07 is my ingame name, so put that for the caption. EDIT: I also sent you an email just in case. ;) -

Haha...if his parents are like that...oh boy watch out. But otherwise, just keep a normal conversation. When in doubt respond with a slightly more conservative viewpoint than normal, but I'd definately go liberal on one or two things to give yourself personality. :) Just make sure to be friendly, polite, respectable, and for god's sake don't be arrogant, most parents hate that. To be honest if you don't act like a moron they'll probably like you decently well no matter what. And also, it would take knowing personally for me to give you any real, good advice. For now, go with the flow.

That, my friends, is the answer. Monkfish are our friends. :)

I just use plain bright... The main reason is that bright is pretty visible, but it still has all the color. If you go to very bright, you'll lose some of the coloring in the game, which I don't like.

owners of a firecape--updated last 08/09/2006
gonpost replied to tilly's topic in General Discussion
Oh me me me me me! I got mine just a few weeks ago...it's nice and shiny. :D I had a total of 3 attempts, so not too bad but not too great. "unbug07" is the name in game. -
It was only ever useful or even semi-cool back in the early 90's... But now it's used to mock newer players and it's rather pointless. Actually, if you go to wikipedia, you'll find there's a lot of information there.

3 May 2006 - RuneScape - Better than ever!
gonpost replied to primadog's topic in General Discussion
I think the title wasn't apropos, and the article itself wasn't very informative. They should have included more pertinent information...I mean...yay, player mods are doing good. Yay, there's more of them. But guess what, it doesn't much matter...if they can't prevent the macro'ers or stop them in the first place, they'll still be around forever. Meh...we'll see. -
So... what's YOUR favorite RuneScape song...?
gonpost replied to Pinkbullet3's topic in General Discussion
Attack 1,2,4,5 Baroque Dust Egypt Saga Saga is my favorite out of all of those...and btw I can't wait for the ambient sounds that they plan to put in. :) -
http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=424 ... en+dragons Scroll to Green Dragons. It's not much, but it's how I do it...

Let's see... I can whistle and make the sound of those corny halloween toys that fly around... I can raise my left/right ear or both at the same time. I can raise my left/right eyebrow or both at the same time. I can flare my nostrils. I can shake my eyes back and forth so it looks like I'm having a siezure. :) And coolest of all, I can move my eyelids towards my nose. Yes, I can move them horizontally (instead of blinking, thing the other direction) towards my nose. It's pretty cool really. Muahaha. I can also type 100 words a minute. It's weird because I was only going 70 a few months ago...but recently I've been flying since I've done so much on the computer lately. EDIT: Oh yeah, and I can hold my breath for over two minutes.

Joe, you poor soul. Life is a waste of time. Runescape is a perfectly legitimate use for it. Sorry for your loss, hope you find happiness elsewhere.

The reason you guys won't agree is because you're making gross generalizations and trying to make them true for all people. Aka, you're being black and white. Most high levels tend to be *more* mature, and older as well. However, this is not always the case. Most lower levels tend to be younger, and thus tend to beg more and act more "nooby". Notice I used the word MOST. Now, that being said, there are some very intelligent low levels that I've come across. You cannot make any generalization, so it's always been my policy to treat everyone in the game equally...although if I see a guy in full dragon I will treat him as if he's slightly more intelligent about the game than other players, for obvious reasons.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a summer job. I'm currently 17 and I need some ideas...my only preference is that I avoid fast food at all costs...but it's a last resort and is possible. I'm male and perfectly capable of physical work. I'm just asking if anyone has ideas. I've thought of a few things to look into, but I want to know if you all would have any better ideas... Thanks for suggestions!

World 66 is just fine. I'm here right now and it's business as usual, with the occassional person coming that's using normal ess. We just teach the person once and then they learn. World 66 will live on! :D

Exactly. IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient. Not intelligence level. That's why a three-year-old with an IQ of 180 is nowhere near as smart as someone my age with an IQ of 100. Actually, I could argue that the 3 year old is much "smarter" than you...depending on your definition of smart. He might not know as much information as you do, however, his ability to learn new information is much better than yours would be. I'm still not a fan of those online tests. Anyway, from the few times I've tried these, I usually get somewhere in the 130-140 range...

Runescape will use up more ram/cpu if you leave it open for several hours in the same window. Just close the client and get back in it every few hours, and you should be fine. Never leave it open over night. That works for me anyway.

Lift weights and eat a ton of pasta/meat...that'll get you beefy in no time. The thing is, you don't want to just gain fat. Thus you have to lift weights or do some sort of training to gain muscle mass... But honestly, if you're 14, I wouldn't care too much. Depending on several factors, you'll *probably* fill out in a few years...

How do you think humans will evolve in the near 10000 years?
gonpost replied to Chaos_Reborn's topic in Off-Topic
IF we're still around... I predict that most of our evolving will be evolution of the brain. So far, that's the fastest evolving part of humans over the past few thousand years (studies have shown). And if we're already in one of the most "evolved" states (ie walk on feet use hands), I think brain evolution is the only way left to go for a while... -
Well...where to start...I suppose I'll start with some of my old rs1 pictures. Why not, eh? As a note, I'll only post select images...I have tons more... 80 Mining...on the road to 85 Here's the grand 85 mining! I mined and dropped TONS of iron for this. 1,111 skill total...and my oh so cool outfit This is one of my early rs pics...my first ever 20 (Yes, i went to the wildy to get my max...i don't know why...) Here's my highest hit ever on rsc...a 28! Here's ap icture of me with Zezima...I was too dumb to include his name...But I saw him for a very long time while we both mined iron ore at the same mine. I was getting 85 mining, and he was getting 99 mining. He got it shortly after I finished 85 mining. He was actually a nice guy to talk to, I must admit. So's his brother. Here's the SUPER GUY! woo...I really don't remember where I got this, but I thought it looked awesome. Now's it's onto rs2 pictures! Here's a clan war that was supposed to happen, but exer never showed up. Here's when I broke rank 2,000 overall...only ever got to 1,700 before I quit for a long time and never got up that high again. The duel arena bug combined with an emote...I think this one's self explanatory...lol Here's the dagganoths wanting to kill me and this other guy...I just thought this was great. God vs. Satan Bug when the agility arena was released...check out the old man! Here's when Duke Freedom achieved 1 Bil networth...although now his bank would be worth several billion... Here's my highest rank in anything, when runecrafting first came out! Here's 99 fletch...got this one pretty recently! 75 Prayer, my latest screeny. Taken about three weeks ago? Now it's time for.... NAME THAT FAMOUS PERSON! Pictures of me with several well-known people that I've happened to come across over the past few years. I'll start with rsc, I suppose. (disclude the zezima picture from earlier) Eugene Ru uloveme gearshifter (he's in the black dhide) lilyuffie (she's in blue beret and cape) The Old Nite (he's fighting the zombie) Me with Zezima shortly after runecrafting just came out. He's on the right. Here's where I met his brother with him. Needless to say, he figured out that runners were the best way to go right from the start... Samanthanz sharif50 Thehate Well, that's all folks. Hope you enjoy.

To be honest I've heard enough of this "bad rs community". It's just that you've finally come out of your bubble and realized that there's some bad eggs out there. The "community" is not all that way. It's also funny how one guy like this can represent a much larger portion of the community, a portion which is often much better. I could definately post more occurances of people being really cool than people being morons.

There's a semi-good way to avoid that... If you follow a straight line, you will not turn back and then run forward. For instance, go straight in one direction (keep your mouse in one position on the mini-map and keep clicking as you run towards that location). You can also do this whilst running diagonally, however, it's slightly more difficult, and requires judgement that only comes from experience and trying it out yourself. Another option is to have run off and use the control key whenever you need to run for a short bit. However, if you do a ctrl+click and then ctrl+click again, and you didn't make a straight line (as described above), you will still get the lag effect (turning back before going forward). Hope that helps a little...

He means a giant archive of any and all (rs) pictures. Sort of a semi-chaotic grouping of rs history. :) It'd be one heck of a bandwidth user I'm sure...but it's still an interesting idea.

Do you guys ever, just once, want a break from updates to work on skills for a while?
