It's a very interesting idea, I sorta like it. Many of the problems that have been pointed out do have credibility, imo. So...revise as necessary perhaps. :) The real kick that I get out of your post is that it sounds exactly like one of those fervant speeches that dictators give to their followers. Filled with phrases like "People of runescape (or country)" "To all of the...!" etc. I must say, you did that rather well. :)

My bet would be a heck of a load of blood blitz's and possibly a lot of attempts. That's where I'd put my bet too, on blood blitz. If he somehow...wow I don't even know...but he had to just keep blitzing the heck out of everything. That's still quite an amazing achievement.

*ehem* The inifinity boots are the best magic boots. You can't deny that. The gloves are good...but if you can get the barrow gloves, those are even better. Oh, and the book is also the best magic book that you can get (for magic)...the sara/zammy/guthix prayer books are good for prayer and raising attack bonus, but the mage book is better for magic. Have a fun time getting it though, hehe. Oh, and yes all of that is what I'd prefer. Even though I have none of the above ^. :) Hoped that helped more than the massive flames going on around us. :)

The OoC will always remain...there are other groups that try to take over, but it never happens. They pose no threat. The OoC is and will always be great because of the community that it has. Btw, I donated the r2h at one of the first major drop parties of the OoC. Too bad I never had the time to help out more...fun cult.

Then again, who's to say the real life is any more important, real, or fulfilling than a completely virtual life? Perhaps all reality's virtual...but that's an entirely different discussion. And the thing is, he has a master's degree. He can get a decent job whenever he wants to. Judging on the way that he talks, I think that he could do anything that he really wants to. The thing that makes him different from so many other players is that he seems to have control over his situation, and he has the power to change it whenever he feels like it. I'm glad that he decided to speak. He really gave an introspective view into the life of a dedicated player. Way to go. Cheers.

When using the ectofuntus bone grinder... When you pick up your bones once they've been grinded, you actually see the pot in your hand pick up the bones now. :)

The dragon method is good, however, I did it assuming the person training would want to 3 item and wouldn't use barrows. Are the attack potions that much better? I guess so...thanks for the info. Regarding the ectofuntus, I can do 162 an hour. I still think it's better to do them in one trip...perhaps I'm wrong. How many can you get in an hour?

You have a point there...I suppose it would be possible to just carry enough runes for one Carrallangar Teleport, and then have the ring equipped...that would save a good deal of room. I still say you should always have a ring of life just in case, it's saved me twice out of the three times I almost died out there. Very good point though. Hmm...I don't think that would be as good. The reason is that you'd spend more time banking instead of getting materials. I suppose it's worth a try, but I think that doing 9 bones at a time is best. And to answer the other guy's question, you can grind bones or get slime first, it really doesn't matter.

slimysteve, sorry, I forgot that I should have a ghost speak amulet. I was a bit of the ways in and became a bit delerious...I'll change that once I'm done with this small quest. Also, if the holy wrench only affects how much prayer is restored, you simply add 1 or 2 to how much each dose of the prayer pot restores. I'm sure you all can figure that out. :) Thanks for the correction.

The gear is irrelevant, but I used various combinations of prayer books, monk's robes, druid robes, and dragon maces. Also...the holy wrench. Never tried anything with that becuase I haven't done that quest, which quest do I get that from?

Hope you've all been enjoying the 100th quest this week! I'll just be doing it this weekend... Below I have something a little...shall we say...different. As a warning, it's a very long read. Well, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve gotten pretty bored over the past few weeks. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been killing green dragons, thousands of them really. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been banking the hides and bones, and I finally had enough bones banked for 75 prayer. Since then, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been using the ectofuntus along with the dragon bones, and boy is it nice. So far IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m at 70 prayer. Anywho, the product of my boredom whilst doing these various tasks is below. There are mainly three things: calculations about the experience and items from green dragons, the speed and efficiency of the ectofuntus, and finally, my somewhat in-depth study about discovering the actual numbers behind that elusive ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åprayer bonusÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
