Bleh, I've enjoyed playing with dog crap more than playing B.C. Rich guitars and basses. Fender is always a good bet, and Ibanez makes very good basses for a relatively low cost.

Agreed on both points. I haven't been playing WoW long, but I have been playing long enough to know that the good stuff has yet to come ( I hear level 20 is when the REALLY cool stuff starts). And for all you saying PvP is better in RS, well, maybe it was 5 years ago. PvP in RS is utter garbage now, I've had more fun playing with dog feces than PKing. WoW is a lot of fun when you take a group of high level players into enemy/contested territory and start slaughtering all the other players of the other faction. Hell, it's even fun solo - I was playing on my friend's levle 45 troll rogue and was blazing through Elwynn Forest and Redridge Mountains, killing any Alliance characters I could.

Let me just start with this. :shock: I just recently read about it in EGM, and wow does it look insane. It's a Tom Clancy take on World War III, set in the year 2020. The opposing forces are the US, the EU, and Russia. No, the EU and US are not together on this. I won't delve into the game's history behind the war (although EGM does), instead here's something to hear: there's no separation between multi-player and single-player. What happens is that you start off with the events that precede the war and that's all single-player. Once the war breaks out though, you choose your faction (US, EU, or Russian Federation) and duke it out against other players online that are of another faction. It's set up almost like the board game Risk - each area is broken down into subareas that are conquerable. What's also cool is that you can choose how to attack the area, be it a massive D-Day-esque invasion on California or an aerial bombing campaign on St. Petersburg. Oh yeah, and Paris gets captured a lot :lol: Another cool thing is that it's ant RTS game for a console that isn't a PC port. It was made from the ground up as a console RTS. That means that there aren't 10 million commands mapped to each button, it's all very simplistic. And finally, voice command. That's how you're controlling your troops most of the time, which also helped in minimizing the amount of things you had to use the controller for. The game is due out on PS3 and 360 sometime next year. THIS is why I need a 360, besides Halo 3 of course :thumbsup:

Don't even joke about that, dude. The movies are so inaccurate in comparison to the comics it's disgusting. Spider Man 1: -This one wasn't too bad, actually, Spider Man 3 is the worst offender. Spider Man 2: -Doctor Octopus was misrepresented at some times as a caring guy. -MJ was Peter Parker's 5th grilfriend, as opposed to his first as implied in this movie. Spider Man 3: -Eddie Brock is supposed to be a huge guy that hates Peter Parker. -Sandman isn't the guy that killed Uncle Ben. -Gwen Stacy was Peter Parker's grilfriend previous to MJ, unlike in the movie where Peter cheats on MJ. Also this isn't what makes Eddie angry at Peter - what sets off Eddie is when Peter uncovers that Eddie's report on a murder case was false, and these new facts brought Eddie's career to an end. Eddie was praying in a church for forgiveness for hating Peter so much, and the symbiote that was the "black suit" happened to be residing in that church after Peter was able to remove it with the noise of the church bells, where it bound to Eddie and created Venom. *deep breath*

To me, yes, pronunciation aids suck. I'd rather remember the rules than look at a Hungarian or Czech word with 5 letters, two of which have 2 dots over them, 2 have single slashes, and the last one has a freakin' circle. WHY MUST THERE BE A FREAKIN' CIRCLE?!!??!?!?!? *ahem* Sorry, I just see those "aids" as nuisances at the very least. Agreed on the bit about Mandarin though.....why make up thousands upon thousands of symbols when you can make about 25 characters and just rearrange them a bunch of times?

Seeing as English is my first language, I can't really have a stand here. But since I'm in my third year of an Italian class, I would say English is very overrated in terms of difficulty. Compared to so many other languages, English is pretty simplistic, I mean come on, we don't even use accents! (Technically the umlaut is a part of the English language, but it's never used, it was only really used in old English.)

I've tried to make myself like them (most of the bands I really like now I didn't like instantly), simply because they're awesome musicians, but I can't get over how annoying the guy's voice is. -.- eep...i dunno why some people don't like his voice. it's amazing for a man's voice...he can reach an F# :shock: Yeah....F# isn't absurdly high dude, considering the amount of people I know (including myself) that can easily hit higher notes and still sound good. However, as far as normal guys that haven't given up their balls for emo or pop-punk, yes it's good and refreshing to hear someone that doesn't have a <1 octave range, like so many other horrible singers that somehow make money from [developmentally delayed] teenage girls going "LEIK PMG I WUB J00!!!1!1!!!one!!!11!!eleven!11!!1" Also let me say right here and now.....emo and crappy punk are different. Panic! At The Disco is crappy punk. A band like Hawthrone Heights - that has quote a few songs about sorrow and killing yourself - now that's emo my friends.
