  1. depends on the situation. (what im training on).
  2. i made nats, then bought yews + bs and fletched and alch for basically all of 66-79 mage and can honestly say im never alching again, all mage xp from now on will be done with pest control, and if i make money by fletching/runecrafting its by one of them only. (currently making 100k nats lol, itll take along while and im going to take breaks from runecrafting every 20k i think)
  3. get pked... i dropped my watch sextant and chart though so i kept my dds, clue and my spade, then went and got 3 of each watch sextant and chart for incase that happens again, thinking about it shouldve dropped my spade.
  4. im 75 att 74 str, took full veracs there, got bored after afew mins but with the attack and str prays on in the 10 mins i was there i was hitting pretty accurately, also the pray bonus of verac meant pray lasted along time before having to restore it, i dont think its worth using it there though.

  7. technically not against the rules but its dodgy...if i was a forum mod id probably report it too.
  8. you can probably just melee using food or guthans to heal, or maybe mage using safe-spots
  9. range = silent before it hits, mage = the retribution pray's sound quietly while its doing the standing on its legs thing.

  11. i wish i knew about that 1 click thing when i got my fury, or when i sold the willow long (u)'s i had from getting 40 to 70 fletching to the general store, nice guide.
  12. not sure how much but ive made alot off killing drags, i always use black dhide body and verac skirt, whip power ammy and anti drag shield and obby cape for greens, (if i die i keep verac skirt, whip and obby cape), for blues i range them in the dungeon used in watchtower (gunatoth dungeon i think the name is) and bank with duel rings (full black dhide, archer helm, range boots, archer ring, magic shortbow, fury ammy (glory is just asgood, though)

  14. here is a stat comparison of rune legs and plate vs torag legs and body vs dragon legs and chain (nothing but the legs and body for all of them, no shield or helm or anything): stab: 133 vs 207 vs 149 slash: 129 vs 202 vs 159 crush: 119 vs 190 vs 161 magic: -10 vs -10 vs -7 range: 129 vs 224 vs 147 (might be wrong if i misread what the stats of it are) i think rune is best for things which dont hit much but do hit, torag for things which do, dragon just isnt enough better than rune to be worth it i think. i know this is torag vs dragon but i added rune in because its comparing dragon to something which also doesnt degreade.
  15. erm ya read the post Use rock cakes from the watchtower quest to lower your hp to 1 (they always do 4 damage) if you want some fun, and bring plenty of prayer pots. i was talking about training there not testing max hits.
  16. Please read the post, before you quote it !!! it doesnt say anywhere in the post about if theres some way to recharge pray there so i asked if there was? quit trying to start an argument.
  17. oh, so just eating when your hp goes below the 100s max hit? edit: i just did the shades of morton quest and got up to the black key, fought afew 100s in rune and found they dont hit much and i hit quite alot with salve ammy + whip + rune defender, they didnt hit over 10 but if i get dharoks i think ill go there and use food and just eat when my hp goes below 15 or so.

  19. lol that reminds me, before some 96 in mage book and fire cape (im willing to bet he wouldnt take them out of the abyss area and his finger was on the teleport button every second he was in the wild) had to run from a guy runecrafting in crystal bow with no food (the crystal bow guy never had food, the 96 running on probably 5 food), funny stuff.
  20. id tele from anyone with armour (none 1-itemers) who can actually hit above 15 and hit more than 1 time out of 5 , and ive found all pkers switch worlds/leave after 1 attempt (might be them seeing my protect prayer / using tele runes instead of glory / my lack of glory ammy and they just decide its not worth it)
  21. i use house teles, so i can restore pray, i run up with steel skin, protect magic, protect items, rapid heal on (why not for the last 2 if anyone asks), if a 1 itemer ddses me i switch to melee pray then just run to the zammy mage and the next trip take a dds and anti psn, and 2 food to scare them off if they are still there, if its a mage i just go up in no items and check if they are still there, usually when a mage has attacked each runecrafter once they leave. also i turn on the effect-sounds. so i can tele on the sound of an entangle to make sure i dont get teleblocked (if they teleblock first usually i can just run to the zammy mage), and tele on the sound of an ice spell aswell. i have around 10 sets of full black hides from clues and about 5 rune picks, all that i would need to get back if i died would be my pouches and my sara cape, sara book and id need to goto the mage guild and buy a new mystic hat + boots, and get a new gnome amulet from the gnome. here is a pic of what i wear: and inv when ive just banked: i make 40 nats a trip abit slower than glorying, abit faster than paddewa teles, and much safer. if i got home tele tablets instead of runes would be 42. at 75 runecrafting thatll change to 51/53. if i did legends id use legends cape instead of sara cape, if i had rune gloves id use them instead of mith (not barrows/dragon because they are 130k to replace). id probably be better off using black vambs but i only have one of them and dont want to have to buy them back off someone for when i want to range. i dont think boots of lightness make enough of a diference to be worth missing out on getting every last mage def possible with very cheap stuff. i use gnome ammy for the melee def bonuses so the abyss creatures dont hit me asmuch.
  22. it takes quite awhile to kill 360s at 72 and 75 range (the 2 times ive got to jad i was them range lvls) with karil bow so i highly doubt that, unless you used a good bow to get to jad. anyway better to just use karil/crystal bow... the new crossbows are too slow and their range bonus is +60 for rune (mage short is 69, karil bow 84, fully charged crystal 100).
