Cat: Gertrude's Cat, Icthlarins Little Helper, Rat Catchers, a Tail of Two Cats Then there are the Quests that tie various things together, like; Legends (Heroes, Shield of Arrav, Dragon Slayer, to name a few) Desert Treasure (Troll Stronghold, Digsite, Temple of Ikov, Tourist Trap) Swan Song (One Small Favor, Garden of Tranquility and its required quests) And OFCOURSE Recipe For Disaster, tying together nearly every quest in the game. And then theres supposedly the new quest series that started out with Devious Minds... All in all, very diverse, obscure and soemtimes inexplicable series of quests. My favorites are several; Elf, because of the somewhat continuing storyline Fremennik, because of the style which it is all in Dwarf, because of the awesome city it unlocks and most of all Morytania, because of the gloomy desperate setting it is in, and because it is still not finished yet :)

well, we know it now.. it only increases accuracy with the new prayers.... so for both magic and range it willl act like extra range attack or mage attack bonus points you get from wearing items such as mystic or dhide :)

Jagex has always been fond of pirates... there is no wider range of clothes available then pirate clothing...

i bring you the guthix team: the team where you only have to prevent the other people stealing flags, by killign them...

RC Pkers are only there cuz some idiot RC-ers are making ti profitable for them... theres enough stuff to do not to get yourself killed out there, even with 3 mages owning you...

Dragon Crossbow (with a magic log) is an obvious next step however, if i can make up a weapon, i'd want something like a dragon staff, which has 10 charges to blast a chunk of firebreath (much liek dragonstone tipped bolts do) The only way to recharge such a weapon would be to get breathed on while holding the staff by a dragon.

No, no, you misunderstand... if the score is 5-5, its a tie score, so guthix gets 3 tickets, sara gets 1, and zammy 1 too... if its 2-5, its 0 for guthix The formula for finding guthix's tickets is quite simple: 3 minus (highest score minus lowest score) So if the score difference is 3 or more, guthix gets no tickets at all... a 10-10 score would result in the same ammount of tickets as a 0-0 score would be for everyone. some examples: 2-10 -> 0 tickets for guthix 4-3 -> 2 tickets for guthix 2-4 -> 1 ticket for guthix 4-1 -> 0 tickets for guthix 7-7 -> 3 tickets for guthix The more equal the score, the higher the ammount of tickets for guthix, Starting at 3, and every point scores more then the other team, results in 1 ticket less for guthix.

if theres 1 skill that would be completely useless, but fun to do.... TELEMARKETEERING bug the hell out of people, and get xp proportional to how annoyed they get... double xp if you actually manage to sell something

Lets look at this logicly, right? Why would one go for an Obby shield? Range defense and strength. If you wanted range defense, you better stick with a crystal shield, as its much more potent at that. If you are using the obby shield for strength now, tho, you're better off using a defender. Not only do you get the same strength bonus, but you hit a lot more often too (ive noticed the difference) So obby shield has become inferior to the 2 more obvious choices Rune defender for doing lots of damage without regard for defense Crystal shield if you want range defense Dsq if you want any other defense.

Holding your own flag is very strategical... Not unfair... Why not? Because if the other side is just as smart as you are, several people will be chasing him... If you got stuck with a bunch of noobs, i suggest you find yourself a clan... Can't get into a clan? work on your skills...

They dont get tickets if either saradomin or zamorak wins by 3-0, 4-1, 5-2 or any other score with 3 or more points difference... And you can't be on the Guthix team if there are no people on Saradomin or Zamorak team... There is a trick however, where you can join a team in their waiting room on an empty world, and then switch to the world you wish to play on... This could be countered by deviding the "excess" people over the other teams much like the guthix portal does now. About that red part: It has now been fixed, you dont end up in a waiting room of a team, but in the hall where you can bank your stuff... NO MORE LOGGING TO GET IN \o/

Ever since that Pyramid Plunder game came out, I had my sights set on one of them Sceptres... It would make ancient switching a helluva lot easier... By that time I was very close to lvl 51 thieving when I decided that I wanted one BADLY... To this day, I havent left Sophanem, only to recharge prayer and hitpoints in Nardah at the Elidinis Statue... I am now lvl 59 thieving (access to only the first 4 rooms), and I havent gotten anything usefull save a handful of gold seals... ALL the thieving xp came from that Pyramid (ok, I dont get to play much lately, but all time was spent down there) No Sceptre... I'm going to continue to try to get it, but after being a member for well over a year, and the best drops I got are: - Addy 2h and bax - Rune defender and knives - 3 rune pickaxes from a clue I have been trying for many things, Barrows, Dragon, as well as Obsidian... Nothing... So to get down to the question again in the title: Is it impossible? Am I cursed? Am I doing something wrong? Has it been worth being a member for me AT ALL? (I have considered ending my subscription, because im obviously not meant to have any of the cool stuff, so I might as well just go back to f2p) Please discuss... [edited for spelling]

Tell me, how do you make a bow or crossbow out of a rock? Rocks generally don't flex that well. and metals that are stronger then steel do? this is runescape :P all logic is out of the window :)

yup, but even then you can still get pk-ed... jangerberry hp keep them up, and the 1 pray point can be used to protect item as well as mage protect

No more abyss pk-ers... wouldnt that be a paradise? certainly for most of us all... How do we get this? Abbyss pk-ers must come to realise that they cant kill anyone, or atleast get no drop... How do we do this? Simple... 1: Wear your glory, and cheap dragonhide which you can afford to lose 2: Wear a saradomin book, or cheap elemental shield to help counter the effects of magic even more. (Sara book si recommended, read below) 3: Run 1 square past the skeletons. If they attack you, you are considered to be under attack, for long enough for you to get into the abyss itself (its single combat from edgy to zammy mage) 4: Here it is, the absolute decisive factor that will, combined with your magic defense, deter almost any magic attack... Protection from mage is the one you need to prevent teleblocks and/or ice spells or snares... But protect item will protect your glory :) THE KEY TO HAVING PRAYER ON ALL ABYSS RUNS: Jangerberries give 1 prayer point when eaten (and heals 3 hp too) Keep it close to all your essence in the bank, and when you bank at edgy, you simply eat 1 jangerberry, and turn on prayer when entering the wild... This reduces the chances of you getting pk-ed by atleast another 40% Combine it with the ectophialling out (or escaping into the abyss, which can be done still when teleblocked) as well as being under attack from a skeleton.... It will be pretty much NOT cost effective because the pk-ers will not get any drops worth mentioning, even IF they manage to pk you... They spawn on the ogre islands north of gu'thanoth and west of yanille... But it is wise to plant your bush patches with them anyways, because they can also be converted into super compost....

Well, I've been going for the sceptre, so the only thing I loot is the chest and the sarcophagus... I am lvl 53 (or 54?) thieving, so I can go into the first 4 rooms... And if I dont get a mummy, I loot the urns in the last room to fill up my time... So far all trips I got was pottery or stone (not even ivory, let alone gold or a sceptre) BOTCHED!
