Hi I finally got whats classed as the required levels to go boss hunting in GWD. My stats are in my sig (defense should be 80 soon, magic 72+ and summoning 69+) Now I know a lot of clans go to the GWD once every week or so, but I'm looking for a activate GWD focused clan. O and I detest PK'ing in its current form (I liked the old style you get what you kill, but the newer version sucks), so please if your a PK'ing or PvP focused clan don't reply. Thanks, Joe

IMO its not worth using 2 mice. Since you can only get one cursor its like writing with one pen using 2 hands.

I planted the sweetcorn first and it worked. Maybe the sweetcorn have to become diseased, but then protected by the scarecrow.

Avansies are nice for clue scrolls I normally get one within an hour of killing them and they are level 3.

Open Office is an open source free product which supports numerous formats. Microsoft Office is a closed source paid for product which focuses heavily on its own formats.

There are a shed load of quests which give thieving exp (thats how I'm raising mine). Once you hit 51 thieving magpie and there scrolls become useful (3+ thieving). Well that's my plan at least.

Thats not as bad as three or four in a row. I've had lots of double tasks, a few triple and about one quad task. Its randomly generated but it doesn't mean you never get the same result numerous times.

I normally use prayer up and kill the ones in the slayer dungeon (easy access via slayer ring or PoH and they are passive allowing you to pot and collect herbs accordingly.). Macaw is better then a BoB and you'll get a big chucky profit from them.

Where to find Jerico is in step one and not needed in step 2. How ever I've just noticed it tells you where Omart is located twice.

Theres actually 3 boots with range defense (link). Although I agree 0 range defense on most boots with a max bonus of 2+ seems a little strange. This topic is more of a moan about prices of most items dropping more then the actual need for a better drop(s). When I first starting playing on my original members account it was easier to make money, but most items where far higher then they are now. I can remember my melee gear was the following; Full guthans - 13m Glory - ~80k Wealth - ~50k Rune boots - ~300k Rune gloves - quest item Whip - 3.2m Obby shield - ~550k Totaled at around 17m, now the total value is closer to 5.5m Everything drops in price making it tougher to make money, but also easier to train. Which is part of the reason everything is cheaper. Its the way of the world.

All as you need to do is the mushroom bit and then the switch/value timer run. The carts should already be setup.

Vista and XP both work differently. I know a lot of games did have issues but it was mainly drivers and such. The ram usage works the opposite on Vista as it does on XP. XP tries to use as little ram, where as Vista uses as much of the available ram as possible (the whole super fetch thing and such). So you can't just put vista on a PC and go wow it uses more ram it must suck. Its worth noting the worse the build the better XP is for it. Personally I would never recommend XP with a new build without it is completely necessary. Its like recommending 2000 over XP 3 or 4 years ago. If I remember rightly 98 or 2000 is a better gaming platform if you looking for pure performance so why hasn't anyone recommended on of them? Because there outdated, lack full support or bad hardware support. Sadly enough XP will soon be in the same league (its had a longer support and sale time then any other MS OS if I remember rightly), Direct X10 is just the start of Vistas take over. Give it 2 maybe 3 years and XP will stop being supported by most software developers. Its buy Vista now or buy it later. O and Windows 7. Let it get to the first service pack then we'll see. Just my 2 cents.

I was just doing this quest with my current account and I noticed a very small bit of the guide needs updating. As your popularity grows, you can check it with Advisor Ghrim. There was an update not to long ago which allowed any of the people you help to tell you the rating. This saves a lot of time walking back and forth to Grim if you want to check.

Nah since netbooks became popular Microsoft allows you to download office then use your product key when installing. You'll need to use something like magic beans keyfinder to get your product key before you install though. Just check that your brother actually uninstalled office, he might just have deleted the shortcuts.

Any exp for completing the quest?

Theres still no decent way of killing them. People have tried blood bursts/barrages, chins and the best melee gear they still had issues. The only reasonable way to kill them would be 3 or 4 man teaming.

Should be fine. The only issue you might have will be ahrim due to your low range level.

Slayer is like training on controlled. You get some exp in various skills, the total is about equal to other methods but more varied. I would stick with penguins, lamps and charms from slayer until 68 as its tough going without a bunyip or better there.

Yes, but your looking at 1 maybe 2 kills per trip.

You'll get better profits from cosmic runes using the abyss then laws. Its a about a 10gp per rune essence difference and you can use a familiar.

Imagine all the people speed point gathering then hitting the good dropping monsters; abyss demons, spirit mages and dark beasts. I would like to see an update, but more along the lines of magic or range based update. Like a range/megic version of the black mask. They should atleast make broad arrows trade-able.

Cost of 1k bursts 1.08m Calc the exp you need (tip.its calc is nice and simple) divide that exp by 181887.4 then times it by 1.08m.
