So far I love the way this year is playing out. I prefer the little updates which make a big difference to the game as a whole, more than the big updates which have little value after a while. If they continue making the little tweaks/changes like they have been RS will be an even better game. O about adding a new skill, for gods shake no. There are enough skills at the moment which could do with a boost then the need for a whole new skill.

I was just wondering do you get double exp when using the cannon and a stealing creation ranger item? As I was just thinking it would be some amazing easy exp if you can.

The odds are always the same they never change. If what your saying is true this would be true: (example drop rate 1 in 1000) Kill - Chance 1 - 1:1000 2 - 1:500 10 - 1:100 100 - 1:10 1000 - 1:1 Yes if you kill 999 you should have a 100% chance of getting the drop on your next kill :roll: sound correct? The chance remains the same as the game doesn't reduce the chances per kill. (ie its doesn't go 1:10 -> 1:9 -> 1:8 -> 1:7 -> 1:6 -> 1:5 -> 1:4 -> 1:3 -> 1:2 -> 1:1). The odds are just the odds, the don't change. Look at the flipping a coins its either one or the other, that doesn't mean if you flip a heads the next one is a tails. Each time you flip the coins it can go either heads or tails. Hell I've flipped a coin 10 times and got heads every time, but I should have gotten a tails after the first heads.... llamster the chance never changes.

XP, 2000 or Vista? XP it seems to be a logitech issue (to fix update logitech drivers) 2000 a IP/net issue (linkto MS fix) Vista, not found an answer.

I've been to a few open houses (almost all to use the gilded altar) and the host generally just alchs next to the burners, relighting them as needs be (with donations ensuring they always have some marentills on hand). I think a PoH is the only place you can alch without a random getting you (this might have changed though).

I would have thought string amulet or make glass at the mage arena bank would be a pretty safe option as they have to cut the webs to get to you and its one click to escape.

The big question is are jagex/we counting the special events quests as the true quests? If they aren't there are only 148 "true" quests so far, 2 away from the big 150. I personally think they should never have added the special events quests to the main quests section. Anyway fingers crossed I'm right and the big 150 is still to come.

I tried this out on the Linpus version and it works ok. I've been toying with Ubuntu on the AAO, but have yet to try RS HD on it. It shouldn't be too laggy though, if you lower the settings (shadows, etc) then it should run pretty smoothly.

At those levels I trained on moss giants on the brimhaven isle as they have decent drops and are rarely crowded. Depends on what you like though, slayer adds a lot of variety to the gameplay, buts slower then camping at a set place.

As long as your kill count is 12+ you should break even (I believe its 12+ when you can get runes, cash, bolts, barrows items and misc items) At your prayer level you'll be using quite a few doses of prayer restore per run.

I still believe there are more variables in the drop rates then we'll ever know.

This. Its like anything attached to the internet, if your careful and use common sense you should be fine. If you click every link and download every program something is going to go wrong.

From what I'm lead to believe the charms are a separate wheel altogether and are completely independent from the normal drops. For are a few other rings which boost magic which you can use the beacon ring, the lunar ring and explorers ring.

Not tried greaters since the charm update, but dagganoths are still one of best crimsons per hour at your levels.

With your current stats i would suggest doing the Prayer-Method. This is more or less what you should use: -Monk Robe Bottoms -Monk Robe Top -Saradomin Stole -Zamorak Mitre -Amulet of Fury/Glory -Barrows Gloves -Ava's Accumulator -Unholy Book -Snakeskin Boots -Rune Crossbow -Archer Ring/Ring of Wealth -Emerald(e) Bolts (Trust me, this way you will get super fast kills. Hit the Aviansie till he is poisoned then start hitting a different one. The poison will kill the Aviansie meaning you will still get the drop for half the effort. This way you can kill 5 in the time it would have taken you to kill 3) I still use the Prayer-Method more often that i use the Tank-Method purely because it is much better exp and the GP's per hour is far superior to that of the Tank-Method. Theres 2 necklaces on this setup. Just thought I would point it out before the TC brought a glory or fury and a stole. And you don't need a sara item as monk robes now count as a sara item (well atleast the desert bandits seem to think so)

It all looks good, but don't forget penguins, exp lamp and other rewards. In you'll most likely end up mixing the charms for the levels, for example 49 to 63 ibis are nice for greens and terrorbirds for golds.

Lower attack and defense to 95 (leave 99 as the long term goal) HP is fine, its just the sheer about of exp needed. Range this is like the attack and defense on its a bit high, maybe 94/95. Praying, ouch I sense RSI coming along. Try having it a 3 stage goal 70-80-90 (90 is still very high I'd personally cap it at 85). Summoning, 2 stage this one 68 then 85. If you combine with with the others (excluding prayer) you should be able to achieve this in line with your other goals (ps get 67 summoning before doing the prayer goal). The goal of 99HP by just green dragons will be so boring you'll want to bite your arm off.
