Barrowing still worthwhile?
These are a few tips which make it a whole lot easier. If your doing 1 to 3 runs per trip use the following method to get there; Slayer ring to slayer caves -> Fairy ring -> BKR -> Run south-east to the boat. This is by far the quickest method of getting there, you're looking at anywhere from 30 seconds to a 1 and a half minutes in time saved. Take a sip of sara brew then a normal restore potion before starting a trip as you'll take a lot less damage (due to its effect being similar to a super defense potion) for the first run and have a boosted HP. Always safe spot verac in the tunnels, unless you have ahrim or karils in the tunnels, this saves a lot of food. If you have a spirit shield (bless or above help even more) or DFS use it. With DFS you can do a lot of bonus damage with the special. Don't take 3 sets of armour, 2 should be more then enough. Remove your metal/barrows armour when using magic on the brothers and praying if you have space, this makes for quicker kills and cheaper runs. IMO Salamanders suck, you can get far more runs with good old fashion magic as you can safespot the 4 of the brothers if you get them in the tunnel. You can flash pray ahrims with eagle eye to maximize damage and still be save behind protect from magic. Diamond and emerald bolts help kill ahrim much quicker then just plain bolts. Rune c'bow is better then magic short if your doing multiple runs as you don't need free space in your inventory to wield it. Some are old points which were never too commonly used, others are used but only by a few (I've only recently learnt how effect the fairy ring/slayer ring combo and use of enchanted bolts are) and some are pretty new and only just gaining popularity. Of course barrows is about having fun and doing it your way.

Quick question about Guthans
Its good for camping monsters like fire giants as you can wear the helm, body and legs with a whip + shield (run defender in this case) then switch to the spear when you get low hp. Its becoming more obsolete as bunyip and other familiars offer a more constant healing with less hassle.

best monster for crimson charms?
Get your prayer up a few levels then waterfiends. You should get about 60 crimson charms per hour with your stats. Another option is daganoths in the CT, they drop about as many crimson per hour as dust devils do and drop a decent amount alchables. EDIT: Don't forget penguins.

How do skillers make money?
Cooking - pizza's, low level fish and potatoes Farming - very easy to level and make a profit Runecrafting - you need an investment first, but you soon start to break even then profit. Smithing - superheating/smelting ores (iron ore for example is half the cost of the ore and you only need a cheap ring to get 100%) Herblore - near impossible now, but used to be very profitable if you could do math. Firemaking - impossible Fletching - Can be profitable once you hit yews. Crafting - spinning, molten glass making and some jewelry Thieving - it costs nothing to level and nets a reward fro each chunk of exp. Agility - once trained can be used to do shop runs (buying raw meat, vial, etc) Construction - used to be-able to profit with gilded altars, but now its the biggest sink hole in the game.

Help fix PvP drops! (New ideas welcome)
Jagex's stance on junk trading is pretty much; they spend the time playing to accumulate this junk so its ok. The time invested in creating junk is more then if you hand gone out and made the cash using other methods.

Barrowing still worthwhile?
I used to barrow for the money, but now I do it almost solely for the fun. Nothing like running low on food, with dharok in the tunnel. With the new methods, faster travel routes (bkr ring has been tweaked to be godlike), better potions and refined techniques its still as dangerous, but easier/faster to play. The older methods relied on the barrows item for money the newer ones profit mainly from the runes, bolts and coins. Having said that 2 great axes in 2 trips (4 to 5 runs per trip) proved very profitable. The best bit is older timers (I did it a lot on my old acc) like me learn the newer ways while mixing them with time tested ways.

Zamorak Book and Getting rid of unnotable item
No one mention buying/using a BoB for this? Summon -> Fill -> Dismiss then rinse and repeat. The more they hold the faster. A bank with summoning altar near (draynor) is ideal.

Is the time getting void range worth it?
But if hes using range to gain the money in the first place (aviansies) then void would speed that step up, reducing the time.

Questions on Black Mask
If you enjoy slayer black mask (and slayer helm when you get the points) is down right amazing. Its a 15% boost on all slayer tasks which can be coupled with potions. Slayer helm is a god like item for slaying. With black masks tasks like dust devils are a pain as you can't get the 15% boost, but with the helm you can slayer any task without having to switch head gear. Also it allows you to make use of the poli dungeon (best used with slayer rings) which allows you to use cannons, familiars along with the 15% boost which cuts task times in half (a lot more then half if your using a cannon).

Killing ice trolls for 99 range with cannon
[hide=Long/Medium Quote] Wouldn't it logically be better to range with a crossbow + broad bolts or bone xbow + bone bolts since he's only after ranging xp? I mean, he might want the melee, but the range xp is what he really want if he's after 99. Or am I missing something? Is their ranged defense too high? [/hide] Yes. Replace the whip with a rune c'bow and broad The gloves with vamps (or barrows gloves) - this is if your ranging or melee'ing Replace proselyte bottoms with monk robe bottoms (same bonus far less weight) - and top if you find your using a lot of scrolls or hitting a lot of 0's) Boot with either lightness or a range bonus boots Ring with ring of wealth - there drops aren't classed as common as far as I'm aware. You loose some prayer bonus, ~3 if I remember rightly, but you will get far quicker kills (more exp) and be-able to run for longer. The idea of the offensive gear is to kill the females ASAP to reduce your damage.

salve ammy and armoured zombies?
I can vouch for that as well. Thank you so much. I was looking into this not long a go as most guides use both in the same setup and couldn't find a straight answer anywhere. People where saying one boost attack/strength the other accuracy/damage which they were arguing are 2 different things so they stacked  .

Advice for a new summoner
Save all the crimsons until honey badgers. Before honey badgers its just a waste of good exp. Golds until 28 then greens until 32 then a mixture of greens and crimsons. Its best to use the charms in this order; gold, greens, crimson, blues. This allows you to hit higher levels before using the better charms resulting in better exp in the long run.

New Farmer :P
Look at Tip.it's farming guide. Quick reference. Falador patch, use cabbage teleport to get there then walk/run north. Catherby patch, use camelot teleport then walk/run east. Mort myre patch, ectophail (sp?) then walk/run west. the other one (can't think of who to spell the name) fishing guild then walk south east.

New Farmer :P
From level 1. Go to catherby and buy all the pineapples you can. Go the the GE and buy some more until you have 60. Use 15 of them on each compost bin. Then plant potatoes (buy the seed from the GE), buying the compost from one of the farm shops. Play a minigame or do something for 40 minutes. Now harvest and check the compost bins (the exp from bucketing and using the compost should get you to level 3 or 4 on its own). At level 2 plant marigolds (stick with them all the way to 99 for the money). As you level just keep planting the best you can.

Killing ice trolls for 99 range with cannon
As I've said on a few other topics its a very fast way of getting exp, but the profit is questionable. SirHartlar stated he got 80k exp in 50 minutes expecting to hit the 100k exp in an hour with a bit of tweaking. With chins and avainsies you need to kill avainsies for about 3 hours to earn enough to cover the cost of 1 hours chinning. Using reasonable rates (30k/hour avainsies and 310k/hour chins) there about on par. (30k*3)+310k is 400k in 4 hours, 100k/hour with zero profit. This, if 100k+ at ice trolls is achievable, puts ice trolls slightly ahead of the avainsie/chin method.

Iron Drags..??
Replace; legends with god cape. 4 sharks with 1 monk super attacks with zammy brews (2 or 3 pots 4 dose) and about 3/4 the amount of zammy brews with super strengths (they drop a lot of super strengths) Add Holy wrench Nature and fire runes Coins for entrance An axe A super energy A BoB pouch
