That bit of code (I changed a few documents I picked up) is for a include file (right lick your project add file then copy and paste it into the file). The joy of that is you can reuse that function as much as you want. All as you have to do is to use the function is use the item.changewallpaper(pathfile) that's it. The if statement simply to show that the function gives a true or false response based on if the change worked. Just think of it as a nice little function which changes the wallpaper based on the filepath you send to it. Use it as you see fit. I'll get you a quick project done sometime soon.

Gilded alter is still far faster then ecto even with the grind X. To find a gilded alter just search the official forums for "open". For some reason "gilded alter", "gilded" and even "alter" don't normally get as mainly result for a open gilded alters.

If your talking about a program to edit images (adding a background image) then GIMP is worth looking at.

So many people are saying monsters it seems a bit odd to me. When I slayer or on mass kill monsters I always take high alch runes. I don't think I've never actually sold a single runite drop in the ge or to another player. Seems odd that with high alching drops being the norm that much of the market would contain monster dropped runite items. Clues and smithing on the other hand always give you the chance to bank with no need to high alch them. I would estimate it to be 50% smithed, 40% clues and the other 10% drops.

Without your defence is very high I would use the sword and a obby shield, not the rune defender as they hit pretty hard and constant. Its impractical to bank for food often as they take a while to get to (well at least the ones in the slayer dungeon).

Slayer darts even better than fire wave. Depends on your magic level Wind wave's max is 17 and uses 1 blood per cast. Slayer darts max is 10+ 10% of your magic level and uses 4 minds and 1 death. Since deaths and bloods cost about the same; If your magic level is less then 80 and above 62 there isn't any reason not to use wind wave. 80 and over slayer dart does more damage and is worth the extra cost (minds). Remember wind wave uses one inventory slot less then slayer dart.

As for the cpu being a bottleneck it won't be on 99.9% of games. The gpu will cap out well before the cpu does. The word bottleneck gets thrown around too much.(biggest bottlenecks: HDD -> Motherboard -> Ram -> CPU -> GPU [roughly anyway]) For a $400 budget you wouldn't get a C2D and a decent motherboard. The C2D's (and C2Q's) are great chips and do overclock well but to get the best out of them you need a decent motherboard and HSF. If you had an extra $50 you could have a E2200 and a ASUS/Gigabyte mobo.

The gpu is a lot better. The DVD is SATA (IDE is not a good connection to buy for a new build). The OS is 64bit so it will allow you to use all the 4gb of ram without any issues. The motherboard has onboard (and its pretty damn good for onboard) graphics so if they aren't going to be using it to game drop just drop the gpu.

Buy a couple anti dragon fire breath potions (saves going to the GE) Slayer Helm - makes changing tasks much easier as you don't have to switch head gear. God cape (both sorts) - increase your magic defence/prayer bonus Full prosyete(ps?) - much easier to prayer on some tasks then it is to use loads of food and make numerous runs. A couple of house teletabs Draymon(sp)/lunar staff - for the fairy rings Salve ammy (e) - for undead foes. Leaf spear/sword, broad arrows or bolts and rune cbow. Slayer gem.... bet you have 10+ already.... Mirror shield, nose peg, etc. Games necklaces, to tele to bounty hunter (easy access to the chaos tunnels) Bones to peaches tabs.

To follow on from Clare. Make sure you can ping the server start -> search box ->[type] cmd [enter] -> [type] ping nas [enter] If that times out try typing this into the cmd window ipconfig/flushdns If it still doesn't work the issue is with the NAS box.

Same as how you did it originally, just remember to use a normal monkey corpse or bones.

Heres a simply work around. Install ClamAV on a flash drive and run it directly from the flash drive. If this fails I would recommend reformatting and reinstalling the OS
