Wow seems a tad unfair to do this without notice. I know a lot of people with <55 slayer have brought into the broad tipped bolts. Its like letting everyone have barrows items at 65 att, str, def, mag, range then after people have brought the sets put it up to 70. Seems like a very cruel joke...... Having said that I was luckily training slayer to 55 for slayer dart and I haven't brought any broad tipped bolts yet (I think I will now just to make a quick $).

Agreed I normally get 1 or 2 every hour. But I'm there for the exp, gold charms, big bones and the high level herb seeds.

I would recommend Code::Blocks as a free C++ IDE. Dev C++ is out of date and I've never properly used Eclipse.

If your going for Vista get the 64bit. If your going for XP get pro.

Farming combined with Runecrafting. The farming adds a break and a quick extra bonus of cash. As Runecrafting gets boring fast (the Pk'ers used to make it a lot more fun).

Hi all, First of my stats are in my sig note my strength level is 55. I'm looking for a good way to train my combat skills (melee). I currently have; :arrow: Rune plate body and legs :arrow: Rune Kite :arrow: Glory :arrow: Berserker Necklace :arrow: Obby Mace :arrow: Rune Boots :arrow: Steel Gloves :arrow: RoW :arrow: Obby Cape :arrow: Warrior Helm :arrow: Dragon Long :arrow: DDS Over 1k of trout to use as food 100 or so attack potions (normal) 10 or so strength potions (normal) I have just over 300K (should be about 350-400K tonight). Whats the best way/place to train. I'm mainly aiming for 60 strength then 60 defence. Thanks in advance Ps if you need any more info just ask.

I would expect the method to be tricky and have fairly strict guide lines. ie you need x tool, x connector, x part, ect. Your best bet is to find a guide and follow it as closely as possible. Ps. you know it will possibly fubar your iPod right?

Specs of the PC/Laptop would be nice. How are you connecting to the net? When you say firefox isn't making any sounds does that include embedded music?

How many photos are there? The VTS files which VLC player will play be the actual video. Try playing one of them and see if each one is a image or a collection of. If its just one screen shot the video, otherwise you'll need a * video format to image converter. The easiest option is to ask the person who created the video to send you the images.

That would be great. I'm most worried about the case and TV card to tell you the truth. The motherboard I've been looking at since the 780G got great reviews for HTPC use, the CPU I have a lower spec one, the DVD/CD I have the IDE version, RAM again I own a few sticks of the same make/model. HDD is a bit flaky too, I know WD are great performance wise, but noise wise...

I just copied it from another forum. I got a lot of useful info from there about the Linux size and a few recommendations (bigger HD, ect). I thought I would see what you guys thought. The ring and gloves both give a 2% increase in XP adding to 5% if you have both. Might not sound like a lot, but it adds up in the long run.

I've been looking at creating a home theatre PC for a while now. I've finally decided to give it a go. Current build; Case DVD/CD TV card - HD and compatible with MythTV CPU Ram HDD 1TB for £90 can't go wrong. Mobo The plan is to install MythTV/Ubuntu on it to keep costs low. Ripping the vast amounts of DVD's I own onto it allowing me to reduce the space I need for the DVD (that way I can keep them in the loft). Partitioning the hard drive so that I can use it as a file server to my other machines. Anyone got any ideas, recommended replacement parts or any feedback? I'm not 100% on what case to get or DVD drive.

You probably had a explorer window open in the background doing something else and closed that. Which killed off/crashed explorer. Which causes windows to restart explorer (which handles your desktop, taskbar, all explorer windows (folders, ect) and the like). Only start worrying if it happens often. Have you tried restarting windows?

DVD Flick. Free and does what you want it too.

It sounds cool, but on a practical side its not the best of ideas. The size of the PSP width, height and depth make it too big to use as your primary phone. Having said that if they made it an addon to the PSP I own (custom firmware, ect) then I would by the add-on.

The cheapest option is grow torrimins (sp) and buy ash (4gp each last time i checked). Of course that is slow, but combine that with a limpwurt patch, selling the limpwurts and buying more torromins (sp) you can get a lot of exp for nearly nothing.

Yep, Linux is about freedom and variety. I've installed and used quite a few different distro's (no where near to a 1/4 of the total distro's out there though..). Each one has there own twist on what a good OS is about. I must say Linux is a lot more varied and job specific then Windows will ever be. Plus you've got to love the price .... FREE

Out of curiosity why don't you DK? First thing I saw was in your sig. And I thought he/she needs money making advice.
