Purchasing a Laptop
Same one only $20 cheaper and 2gb of ram. Personally I would stick to a Intel CPU as your looking for a laptop as they perform better. What's your budget?

Please close.
The adverts are something you just have to put up with if you play F2P. Removing the ads or hiding them are against the rules. Lowering the Quality is really all you can do.

Chinese Trojan on Maxtor HDD hunts online games pass
They are more then likely infected at boot level which means you can't get rid of them the normal way (a virus scan). You would have to wipe the hard drive to remove it. Anyway there not much to worry about without you live in Taiwan or tend to buy PC's direct from China. Its still fairly worrying though, if the Chinese can do it what's stopping the rest of the world monitoring what we do on our PC's :ohnoes: :uhh: :ohnoes:

Forum tweaks
I've recently set up my own forums. however I've noticed Tip.it forums have a few tweaks which I would like to copy/use. The ones which interest me are; *The image size limiter (I've searched and I can't seem to find one which works as well). *The URL link pop up box (not searched around for this one too much, but its a very good thing to have) Mainly the image size limiter. If anyone has any other tweaks or mods which are worth noting feel free to tell me.

im l@@king tomake rs help site!
For best web designing software is Dreamweaver although it costs a fair bit. I would try NVU first and if you decide to go down the text coding route try Notepad++. You'll also want to get a good FTP client, if you use firefox then try the FireFTP plugin. Apart from the software you will need three other things; *A host *A domain name *Time If you try a free host like freewebs you can try out web design free of charge.

All About Ram! (Ram Discussion)
I think all your questions have been answered. But I thought I would throw my opinion in  Ram in the US is very cheap (well atleast compared to the UK) heres 2gb (1gbx2) of DDR2 800 (6400) ram with a cas of 4-4-4-12 for only $40 after rebates. To improve you performance a bit you can always OC the processor. This is the best air cooled heatsink out at the moment (hence the $64 price tag) it should allow you to hit 3ghz+ with good temps.

A few Quick Graphics Card Questions
The main is difference the memory; *the MSI has twice the memory *The Leadtek uses the newer memory Performance wise the Leadtek should be better on low to med resolutions whereas the MSI will be better at higher resolutions. Although you wouldn't really notice an amazing difference in the cards. FPS wise generally you won't notice any FPS higher then 60. Anything lower then 60 and you will start to notice the game becoming less smooth. However some games such as Oblivion are designed to look good and play fine on 30 FPS. PS. The link to the msi card doesn't seem to work for me.

Help me please! (caught drop-trading)
Ok, how I see it is you took a chance with a form of cheating and lost. I don't see Jagex letting you have either account back. If your going to try to get the main back you could always say it was hacked and you had nothing to do with the other account (although they may trace the IP back, in which case they will know it was you on both.)

??-Easiest,cheapest,fastest skill to train-??
Fastest is cooking if I remember rightly. Cheapest, well you make the most (ok you can get more from other skills but RC'ing is more constant) going for 99 RC'ing so I'll say RC'ing. The cheapness really depends on the which skill and how fast you want to level it. Easiest, tough one; cooking, fletching, wood cutting and hunting are all easy once you have the resources.

Fighting back keyloggers
The whole idea seems a little wacky to me. Your encouraging people to infect there PC with key loggers (and possibly more dangerous software), of which your not even sure you can remove. I like the idea of revenge on key loggers, but anyone with common sense wouldn't install one in the first place. The point Collective makes about the other options to retrieve the data is a very good one. As it makes the plan useless if they use another method apart from a direct Host to Master communication. This plan of your has the potential to backfire too, if the key logger is using host machines to collect the data from other hosts before retrieving it, you could be spamming innocent users.

ZoneAlarm Firewall
If your PC is behind a router then I wouldn't bother with a firewall. If your not behind a router then it may be worth it however it will slow your performance down. ZoneAlarm is a solid firewall which is more then good enough for most users.

Recommend me a video card.
Before I recommend any cards can you tell me three things; *Your PSU wattage (and make if possible) *Your budget *Which games your planning on playing. The PSU is important as the higher spec cars need more juice, if your PSU isn't good enough you could need up buying one of them too. The budget is a bug factor there's no use in me recommending you a $300 card if you only have $150 to spend. The games are also important as ATI and nVidia cards perform better on different games (usually only a small difference, but on a few there's a big gap.) plus some games tend to use the CPU/RAM more (meaning the gpu upgrade might only help a little)

Random unexplained problems [Resolved]
Ok, first off the tech guys, are most of the time, idiots. My list of things to try. 1)If you have more then 1 stick of ram try testing each stick. To do this simple remove the other and run windows if you get the same error with each memory the you know its not a ram issue. However if you do get the error when using one stick and no error when using the other then you know the stick is faulty. Easy fix is then to throw the faulty one away and buy a new one. 2)Clean out the case and fans, i know the tech guys said it won't be this but its worth a try. 3)If your using a non board gpu try using the onboard instead if the problem doesn't occur then the gpu is faulty. I'll edit this post (adding more) when I get back home.

You choose. AMD vs Intel.
It all depends on many factors; *Your budget *What your using it for *If your upgrading, buying a pre-built or building it yourself. *Plus some other factors which have missed me at this moment. Price wise AMD are great value at the low to medium range for the average user. Intel win in the medium to high category as AMD don't have cpu's in this range (yet). However if your willing to overclock then Intel knocks AMD out of the medium pricing range. If your using it for a HTPC then AMD is generally used due to the BE (or EE) chips being very good; low power consumption, low heat and good performance. This is not to say you can't use a Intel in fact the E2xxx and E4xxx are also great in this area. If your upgrading you'll already be stuck to AMD or Intel. If your buying a pre-built or building then refer to the budget part.

Firefox themes?
Firefox should auto install them when you click the link. If it doesn't do this, try opening the file with firefox.

Untubu Setup-NEW QUESTION!
May I ask why your going to install Ubuntu? As Linux is a little harder to learn for most then windows is. Moving from Windows to Linux will take a fair bit of research, knowledge and trail and errors. I recommend trying the Live CD, if you like it install in on a partition and dual boot (this way you can always go to windows to look up answers/guides). In regards to the question download CDBurnerXP and burn the ISO file to a CD. Leave the CD in the drive and restart your pc, when it asks you to hit a key to boot from the CD hit a key.

-= Hard Drive Problems =-
Just thought I would rock the boat a little. You can hotswap SATA, its one of the design features. IDE on the other hand is not designed to be. You can plug in a IDE hard drive via a IDE to USB converter and it will run as a removable drive in effect making it hot-swappable. SHIPPOU, they seriously let you inside PC's with your level of knowledge? You really should read up on Hardware

help with my stupid comp please
Ok, first off install SP2 and all the other updates. SP2 has a lot of security's features which you will need, eg windows firewall. 256mb is a low amount for XP, even an upgrade to 512mb (costs about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã8 or $15 to do) will improve the general performance massively. The speed test results you posted aren't that amazing, having said that they are more then enough for RuneScape. Do you have any AntiVirus/Spyware software on the PC? If not download AVG Free, Ad-Aware 2007 and Spybot search and destroy.

ULTIMATE Guide to B-Staving
Nice guide. I have a few questions; 1)Can you use the lunar spell to convert soda ash/seaweed + sand into molten glass on the kelp (like how you use it on seaweed) or do you have to cook it first? 2)Can you tele out of the underwater area? Thanks in advance.

Lil' question
Yep, you hit it on the head. Its ok for most programs, but for games I would definitely put them on the same HDD as the OS as it will help loading times.
