  1. Basically a lesser used usb-type connection. Wiki link
  2. Can you explain your sum to me? eg. what the figures are referencing to.
  3. they are just west the the mining site south of varrock...
  4. I would thieve the master farmer at Draynor then use the seeds to train farming and the herbs from farming to train herblore. Its free exp. That should bring your total up a fair bit. If you like slayer I advice you stick with it for a while, maybe to 55 (slayer dart, as it a very good way to training, magic, strength, defence, attack, hp, range and prayer.
  5. Have you done DT, if not I advice getting your prayer to 43+.
  6. Why don't you make a guide about it. PS what equipment to you use there?
  7. I have some bad news for you. As your pc is dell, the motherboards normally come riveted to the case. This means its near impossible to remove the original and replace it with a new one. So to simply change the motherboard you would have to more then likely get a new case too. PCI, all modern motherboards will come with atleast one PCI slot (normally 3 or 4). Ram, this will work with any motherboard which uses DDR (thats DDR not DDR2). As you'll be changing the motherboard you really should look into building a whole new pc. As the motherboard alone will not give you any more performance, only room to add bits on. And in the end you'll end up upgrading more and more, making a lot cheaper to just save up now and do a completely new build. EDIT: It seems its only the older dell pc's which have the motherboards riveted on. Ps As your running a celeron I recommend you upgrade that when you upgrade your mb.
  8. I second Ubuntu, there's also Ubuntu Server Edition which comes with Apache, php, mysql and a few more useful programs. Ubuntu Server Edition is meant to be one of the easiest Server OS to set up too, so it shouldn't be too hard for a newbie.
  9. Try updating the routers firmware and your wireless adapters firmware. Also make sure the line to the router goes through one of those filters.
  10. Thats it. Now if your pc is lagging in general, not when your online, then the problem might be ad/spy/mal ware. Download Ad-Ware personal (it think its version 2007 now) and Spybot S&D. Run a scan on both of them and hopefully it will pick up some junk. Run a virus scan afterwards. Then download CCleaner and run the find issues, then select fix all. If you only lag when your online then its your connection. There not too many ways to fix this, but I would check the the connection DSL (check the phone line is the master line and that you have a filter attached) or cable (ask anyone in your area if they are having the same trouble. If its the connection for sure contact your ISP.
  11. Just like Mercifull said I recommend against hosting a [Caution: Executable File] file, as the risk is too great for anyone to use it (well at least the risk is just for a poll). You can make a poll using asp.net (basically a online version of vb.net) or .php and host it online, that way the user wouldn't have to download anything and your results will all be online (instead of the user having to email you the results).
  12. When you say lagging do you mean in general or just online (eg. RuneScape)? Also what operating system are you using (normally its a version of windows)? And what are your pc's specs (if you go, start-> run -> type "dxdiag" (without the "'s) it will tell you this)?
  13. I just looked at the prices on RSOF  . They have risen so much in the case of 1-2 months its silly.
  14. Fletch yew longs. Buy yew logs (270 to 300 ea) and bow strings (120 to 150ea) These sell for about 550 to 600ea Thats a 150 to 210 gp profit per yew long.
  15. Its doing that because your pc is focusing most of its resources on the the runescape page. Instead of using taskmanager try using ALT+TAB to flick between the windows.
  16. Ok, that just saved me looking around for ages thanks.
  17. I did the same. If you take a DDS and spec him on the second form this helps a lot.
  18. Ok, I'm looking for a free webhosting site which offers the following; *PHP (5.0 or higher) *MySQL *PHPMyAdmin (so many sites that have php, but don't have myphpaddmin its silly) *1gb+ storage space. *Allows reading from url's Before anyone says google it I have. And I 've tried the following; *Freewebs, no php/mysql *AwardSpace, no url reading and low storage. *ZendURL, PHPMyAdmin doesn't work *4000webs Hosting, don't ask.... *110mb Hosting as bad as 4000webs... *And a few dozen more I can't remember. Thanks for any help in advance. PS. If no-one knows any sites which offer what I'm looking for free. Then recommend me some paid for hosting (nothing overly expensive)
  19. You need a web host. Google free web hosts and find the one best suited for you. I recommend awardspace. Then register to the webhost, normally they will give you the option to upload your site from a control panel or ftp client ( I prefer ftp)
  20. To add to what others have said about the blood diamond. Wearing full proylete (sp?) is recommended as it will lessn't the range attack and still offers a good prayer bonus. It is possible to trap the boss in the fence by running outside the grave yard and hoping he gets caught, note this is hard to get right. As for the smoke its the easiest of them all. PS. I found the 2 which you have done the hardest, so you should be able to do the last to farily easily if you keep trying.
  21. Nice guide [hide= a few possible additions/notes]Helm, the bear helm is completely free after completing mountain daughter and you can get as many as you want (using the drop and ask technique). Mith pickaxe has no wieght (this is worth noting as you are running more as you not using glorys. Necklace/ammy, you could use a def ammy or a games necklace (in case you forget to your restock runes). Ring, you can use a ring of duelling and bank at cwars, glory to edgeville bank the glory and do a run.[/hide]
  22. Here's a cropped version of the image [img=http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/6230/omgstolenev6.png] I'm not to surprised this has popped up on the RSOF as the game is aimed at the younger players (why else would you have to proved to there parents its a educational game). My 2 cents
  23. You can't get it as a chest item, but you can get it if someone dies (how I got my full ahrims  )
  24. [hide=Corrected guide ~(just the spelling)]Mole Exerrmination!! Table of Contents The big fat and blind mole.....1 Set ups................................2 Fighting...............................3 Soloing................................4 Rewards...............................5 Credits.................................6 The Mole: big, fat, ugly, and blind! This is the giant mole: This is not: The giant mole is lvl 230, using melee attacks, easily hitting 21, after she's at about 1/2 health, he will dig to a place within the caves. He attacks one person at a time, unagressive (sometimes she is, after you attack, she digs but come 2 a place near you) What 2 Wear Killing the mole you will be teaming with a partner (not recommended 3+ people if your splitting loot) Recommended stats: attack 70+ (she's got good defence, may hit alot of 0's Str 60+ Defence 60+ Hp 60+ Prayer: 43 is a must, recommended 50+ for longer lasting If ranging: 60+ range?, I'm no ranger (58 range) if Mageing: Do not mage! shes got really good mage defence, waste of runes Melee: Armour: helm: barrows>protistyal helm>helm of nez>intelet>d helm>rune>nothing Ammy: Fury>Glory>Unholy symbol>power>str>Holy Symbol Body: Barrows>Monk Robe (lightweaght)>Fighter Torso>protistyal body>Fighter Torso>intelet Legs: Barrows>monk robes>protistyal>intelet>nothing Gloves: RFD Black+>penice Gloves>RFD steel- Boots: Rune>climbing>boots of ligtness> addy>nothing Shield: Unholy Book>rune defender>Addy defender>Guthix Book>Sara Book> dragon sq>rune shild Ring: Wealth>life>Warrior>recoil Weapon: so far i tested: Whip, D scimmy, DDS, D long Whip: didn't hit much, but when it did, it was high D scimmy: hit most of time, usually 10+ DDS: hit alot, poisoned, always did most damage (always bring) D Long: it alot and hard, 2nd best so... Range: Working on Fighting: First off, here's a map or his lair: Its located below faldor park, dig on top a mole hill, there's 3 next to sir tiffy cashin when your down there, go to the center, he may not be there if not either 1. shes walking around, probably to the north 2. another group is down there so look for it, if there's another group, if there lower lvls, don't hop, if higher, ask them to hop, if not you hop So, first, before attacking the mole, drink a super attack and str pot (if ubroght) weild ur dds, use spec, First person attacking use protect from melee, 2nd person just attack with dds or your other wep, attack with dds till shes poisoned, the switch to your other wep, after hes around 1/2 health, he will dig, if you have a parter, one should look on east side, one west, just look on your mini map for a yellow dot, he baby mole don't show up (thank god) if you find, either tell ur partner where he is, or attack it until he digs (if u attack till he digs, tell yr partner he dug, so he know to look where he was before) If he is killed, but you cant see loot, tell ur partner where u r, so he can pick it up Tricks: if the mole is poisoned and about 1/10 hp left, and poison it hitting 3-4, you can let him die, by following, good trick some times, once, I attacked, he dig, died where he dug, finally found the stuff, and a lvl 67 comes and takes the loot :boohoo: if ranging, there's tons of stalagmites near the walls Soloing I personally don't recommend soloing, but if u have about 75+ in all stats, may be worth it, when soloing basically do same things at above, equipment, a dds is a MUST otherwise you'll be chancing it 4 days! bring about 4 super energys, dotn take stuff your not willing to lose, cuz ur partner would be able to get ur stuff, also have your death spot to faldor, extra spend and lanter in bank, if you die, you may have a chance of getting in your stuff back You will be running around ALOT also bring a telly tab Rewards: The Mole always drops big bones, claws and hides Claws and Hides: they are what is going to make you the most money, trade them in with wayson the gardener (east side of fally park) for bird nests \ search them, you may get a magic tree seed :XD: after you search, use pestil & mortar on it, to crush it, sell them on herb forum for 1.5k ea  the mole also drops: (from my experece) Common: 105 airs Arrows Addy/mith armour/weps Str ammy sharks Runes (alot of bloods) Rareish: noted misc.. Rune armour haven't gotten: dragon med and spear and shield, addy javelins, long/curved bone, gold, gems, glory, half key Credits: Runescape for being runescape, also for maps My mom for paying for membership Phonton star and egrules4ever for going mole killing with me my computer for not letting me edit photos :x The Giant Mole for being a weak and blind monster to pick on :XD: that's all! er...still going put in more pics rate![/hide] Overall not a bad guide, but I still prefer the other guide as it goes more in-depth about the different styles of attacking the mole.
