  1. It was the a big bug abuse. When player owned houses first came out there was a bug that, when you got kicked out off a house (note when you where kicked you where in a combat ring) the attack option remained and allowed you to attack players which where not in the wildy. As most player owned houses where at rimmington at the time the people who were killed where many in fally.
  2. I would just add another 256mg or 512 stick of ram. Yes your pc is old, but it will be able to do what you want. To find which ram you need to go here. Let it scan your system and it will tell you want ram you can get for your pc and a rough price (you can buy the ram straight from crucial if you want)
  3. Runite ores sell for around 10 to 13k. Full Saradomin Set: 2.3.M-2.5M. If you mined 100 per day it would take just under 2 days to buy the set.
  4. Those stats are fine I used to do runs with most of my stats lower then yours. Using slayer dart is the best for cost saving. As for full ghost robes, no. Use either full ahrims/mystic (helms and gloves can be replaced with fremy mage helm and RFD gloves) or full rune/melee barrows set. And don't forget either d hide body and legs or karils top and bottom. P Pots aren't always needed, but you're best taking 1 or 2 each trip incase you need them. Food wise, monkfish, swordfish and lobbys are fine (lobbys are a the worst but if your only making one trip are fine.) Good luck
  5. This is how to use the numpad as a mouse. Start -> Control Panel -> Accessibility options -> mouse use mouse options [tick]. Click apply. Now you can use the numpad to move the mouse around. To increase the speed and other options click settings on the mouse page (where you ticked the box). To click I think its the + or enter key. People use this to high alch as you can put the item in the inventory so that when the high alch spell is click the item is placed just below so you dont have to use the mouse to move only click.
  6. You would need to buy some. I could email him some by next week /\/\ Thats evil  . Just like those who tell newbies they can download ram. But seriously you will need to buy some. Go here and let it scan your pc, afters its done it will recommend possible ram upgrades and tell you where to buy from.
  7. Ok first off are you using a PC or Laptop?
  8. That's your problem. The rest of your pc is ok (1.25 gb of ram is more then most). I would recommend that you go to crucial system scanner. It should tell you your graphics cards slot. From there all as we need to know is the slot and how much you are willing to spend on a new card.
  9. To add to that; If you use home teletabs to recharge prayer at your house and then a house-glory to edgeville to bank (walk east to the fairy ring). It allows fast collection of the fungi.
  10. I've never been pked through the abyss in over 200 runs, and many other people have only been pked once in 3 months or so. OT: Remember, with crafting laws you CAN'T wear dragonhide, or wield a pick/axe. Ok then lets see the difference in risks. Abyss; Pkers :uhh: Abyss monsters Skeletons (only at all dangerous to low lvls) Balloons; None  So the balloons are a lot safer after all. As for not being able to wear armours is a good thing. It allows you to only wear/take the items you need for rcing. I would go with the balloons if your planning on making lots of laws and its fast and safe, and with the abyss being as quick its better to play saafe then risk something.
  11. Its basically increases the times you hit over zero with melee damage. Just like strength increases your max damage attack increases of chances of hitting.
  12. I believe world 2 is the best for shade burning. I can't be 100% sure but last time I was shade burning/temple repairing world 2 had the most people doing it.
  13. Yep, you've managed to get the ctrl key jammed. Personally I wouldnt ever put it in the bath or shower like Doomster said. I would try tipping it up side down and shaking. As if you remove the bottom left hand corner key (or and of the corner keys) and shake the keyboard so the dirty falls that way the dirt will fall out easier then simply turning it up side down and shaking. I would just buy a new keyboard, unless you really like your current one.
  14. Thats still a non game trade for a game trade. I agree a favour or two would be nice, but I wouldn't trade items of any value or even talk about helping them because of a sig. I remember when Tip.it used to allow sig's for cash.... I can also remember asking if it was against any of the RuneScape rules, at the time a few people (including a mod) replied saying its was fine. A week later tip.it officially stopped the sig for in game items/cash. Dam that was freaky :uhh: .
  15. Not bad to start off with. Add the following to make it a great guide; *Pictures, you can never have enough pictures in a guide. *A list of recommended items for both F2P and P2P (tip.its prayer guide will help here) *The drop list of the Ice giants (tip.it again helps) *A map of the dungeon, alter, nearest bank and teleport spots. *Ranging or maging the Ice giants. Keep up the good work.
  16. I like it. You should take a screen shot of the cell and add it to your first post. That way people don't have to download the excel file.
  17. I recommend that you start learning .PHP and HTML if you haven't already. I would also I advise on trying WAMP and setting up and running the forums locally before you go online. This way you can iron out any bugs first and it will also increase your php and html knowledge.
  18. Ok, let me clear this up. Slayer dart like all combat magic spells IS affected by magic bonus. The myth that it isn't affected by magic bonus started at barrows. As you may know all the barrows brothers (excluding Arhims) have a very low magic defence. As there magic defence is so low you can still give high damage to the brothers, when you have a low magic bonus. People noticed they could have a rubbish magic bonus and still hit high, as most of the people at barrows only use Slayer Dart for barrows they put it down to Slayer Dart not being affected by magic bonus. To prove Slayer Dart is effected by magic bonus you can simply try using the spell on a monster with a normal magic defence in full melee armour and then in a magic boosting armour.
  19. A dragon short sword would be useless!!! Oh yeah, I figured, just like his little cousin, worth 50k, 4 special attacks which hit double. Ability to hit 30s with it in short amount of time. Yep, the short sword has to stink I was thinking along the same lines, the Dragon dagger is a very good weapon for is type (dagger). so if a dragon short sword where to be added to the game it would make sense that it would be powerful when compared to normal short swords. Back to the topic. 90+ fletching does seem right. I think they may also make it so the only feathers you can use to fletch them are the ones gained from hunting.
  20. Personally I think it will turn out to be a unused bow similar to the sercull bow. Why because we already have bows for anything players need *Staking/PK'ing Karil's Xbox, MSB or Crystal bow. *Training MSB (Crystal for some but not as many) Think about the cost too. MSB- 2k to 5k Crystal bow 180k to 900k. Karils Xbox 400k. There prices stay low because more people have done/can barrow/fletch/quest. 90 Slayer is a high requirement, added to the quest involved means the prices will be sky high. Even if the price does hit the 2m mark how many people would choose a weaker (not yet known but the requirements hint to it being) bow for more money. Sure you have to repair the crystal bow and karil's Xbow, but the amount of recharges/repairs you can have more then makes up for the cost. just my 2 Cents
  21. Yep, all of the quest
  22. The only Canadian site for part I know is tiger direct. Heres the best $300 sub card I can find. Its more powerful then the two other card I recommended. The only thing is that its a DX9 card. If you plan on using vista and playing the DX10 (still far off) I would get this its not as powerful as the other card, but will be more suited to future games and vista, plus its a faction of the price.
  23. Between Edgeville and the Zammy mage. Now that would pee off all those RC'ers and RC PK'ers even more then the ditch.. Dam best not say that Jagex might do it :uhh: ....
  24. I vote both. With high strength and low attack you would hit. 10,0,20,0,20 With high attack and low strength you hit, 10,10,10,10,10 As you can see you hit roughly the same amount of damage. Have high strength is great when you want to hit high for KO's and high attack is great for general training. Ideally they both need to be high to all you to hit hard and constant.
  25. Just talk to head wizard again. He should replace it for you.
