Nice update. Hopefully a worthwhile reward. Theres only 1 I can't complete (rocking out relatedback to my roots), but I'll let the hype dye down. Its a reason to add tower of life to my todo list though

The engine bugs were based on code being changed and could not have been avoided. This (the extreme pots) was a conceptual mistake. Anyone knew this was going to affect Pvp, all they had to do is test the limits, which they clearly didn't. In both cases testing (beta testing is really needed) would have found the bugs. In truth I think there was next to no testing for the herblore update as all par the overload, special and magic potions are simply tweaks on exisiting potions. Even the adding an extra ingredient had been done before.

Ok, but super pots are allowed? I would have lowered all pot bonuses and stats by 80% in the games, unless you bring castle wars brace. if you bring brace, you get 100% of your pot bonuses/stats. And even so, why aren't they allowed in Soul Wars? I think it was more a strike first and fix it later on a case by case thing, similar to the RuneTech issues. I was just explaining why the cwars removal could be understandable, I still believe that they should be allowed. You learn the reward you want to use it.

Hi all, My just 5 qp and 3/4 herblore levels from being able to unlock TD's. I have little clue about herblore (all my current levels are slayer drops and farming herbs and potting them) so I need some help with power training. First question whats the cheapest way to get the 64/63 from 61 (I have the supplies to get me to 61 already), within a few hours. This means no mtk, which I'm already using for herblore. Secondly what the best (ie fastest, but resellable) way to do the above levels with about 1m. The reward from WGS is about 4.5m correct (shard/slice + elite black + the mage outfit)? Would I be able to solo TD's with my stats (in sig)? Which is going to be better with my stats for solo or duo'ing, SGS or D hally and crystal bow or rune cbow? Any tips/tricks for training herblore, WGS or TD's? Thanks in advance. PS how many brown spices (on average) would it take to get the 4 level boost?

The removal in cwars would be understandable as the castle wars bracelet gives 20% added to the increase in power from the potions it would stalemate a lot of games if you had a few maxed attackers or defenders with the potions.

AD could be for anything. None of the other diaries had images in the KB or news article (that I can find).

How does this prove anything? It could just a random image, if you replace the name with falador or varrock nothing comes up....

Papayas sell well I was using a fruit bat in between training herblore. The sheer expense of herblore is worrying me as I need 3/4 more levels for wgs (only 5 qp left :-P). Good job I stocked up on brown spice when I did rfd

Most of those items can be re-obtained. The keys should go on the keyring, the books like transcript80 said should appear in your PoH bookcase and the certificate can be re-obtained too. All the scrolls should be dropable or sellable (the ones from Shilo Village atleast) and the smoking pot is easy to remake.

Please say you didn't just kill a registry key relating to services without researching it first. Deleting anything your not 100% sure about from the registry can seriously break your windows install.

This should be in graveyard help really, but if you plan on going p2p then d claws would be amazing with 98/99 str.

Loved them both. The first article I agree with the possible methods in fact I've suggested the first 2 numerous times. To anyone giving this reply to the herblore article or the new potions in general, "herblore isn't a combat skill".

I could see it being fairly helpful if you have a fruit bat at the gwd since each fruit excluding papaya only heals about 2hp but still take up 1 spot.

..... Look at the following PvP items. DDS, D scimmy, D long, anchor, RfD gloves, crystal bow, crystal shield, d hally (next to never used, but possible), rune plate, and spirit shields. Lunars and ancients too. They all require skills to complete the quests to unlock and wield them. I'd hate to imagine PvP without all the skill/quest related items. You'd be limited to very few dragon items and it would pretty much jump from rune to whips/godswords with no middle ground. People need to look and see skills have always affected PvP. Back in the days per GE it was either buy 100's/1000's of potions or make them yourself. The average scaper would either spend hours trying to afford or bid down the price of potions or skill to make the potions themselves.

I'm on a roll of 3 DK maging trips and no drop over 2m runes (closer to 3m in truth), I spent about 15 hours at the dwarf battlefield and hate every drop apart from the pick (well and d half) and the most I've had from a clue scroll in the last 4 months was 120k in rune items.

That hard bit was the guards not the fights or rat catching. It took me about 3 hours to complete the house.

Its a nice buy although like people have mentioned it won't game very well. Its more then enough for RS but anything more then HL2 or Fable will have FPS issues. Its close to the best you'll find for that money though.

2. Is extremely annoying. The DK's are freaking next to impossible to safely solo mage without your either constantly praying or wait for about 2 minutes before you lure. They all roam about 10 extra square and rex no is a lot smarter.

Try combofix (google it for the latest download) after using the above command (shutdown -a). If it fails to catch/fix it work your way though the following programs; malwarebytes antimalware, superantispyware, spybot S&D and your AV. If these all fail post a hijackthis log here.

MEP1 was over hyped for me. Its every simple and the supposedly hard bits are really just walking around. MEP2 and rat catchers are plain evil (not sure about rat catchers after the recent update). Rat catchers put me off quests for 3 months and MEP2 is stupidly annoying at parts. I swear that there's something wrong with MEP2, I started it yesterday had a little trouble on the hand holds (summer pies cleared it up) and now the light from the top refuses to go down regardless of the rotation.

Its only about 30 minutes per fruit. If you do a fruit tree run after a herb run (75 mins) you'll get 3/4 per tree. Although remember if you have access to a giant ent use it as you get about x1.5 more fruit per harvest (average from 6 to 9).

I got bored and decided to camp them a few months ago. Void and bunyip over healed me.

I believe the one in Tip.it's guide still works.

They'll drop when Jagex fixes PvP drops.
