Beware the enclave
Heads up thread. Just had someone (mentioning no names here) try to lure me while killing blue dragons in the ogre enclave. They ask for help with Recipe for Disaster and offer a glory for your help, then ask if you have plenty of prayer left and 50 Range. If you go along with it, they trade and put up a magic bow and some arrows, then accept trade. Smelling a rat, I said I had no room so that they'd say "go to bank". While at the bank I took off all I had been wearing (d med, d legs, obby cape etc. which obviously made me a tempting target), while pm'ing them to assure them I would return, and returned to the enclave carrying just my anti-fire shield. Needless to say the person in question immediately logged! I know there's no such thing as a new lure, they are all just variations on a theme, but maybe a sticky could be started for people to post in when they succumb to / foil a lure, so that anyone who wishes to can read them to acquaint themselves with these peoples varying MO's.

Mos Le Harmless...
I don't think it can be a magic-based attack as Protect from Magic prayer provides no protection, while Protect from Melee provides full protection. :?:

Mos Le Harmless...
OK found it on world map now (tucked away in bottom left corner - I've been away for couple of months so missed this). Thanks for reminder about Witchwood icon, I had forgotten it! edit: it says the cave is very, very dark so I guess a light source is required! edit II: Yep, light source IS required.

Can anyone tell me where on the island I can find the dungeon where Cave Horrors are to be found?

31/08/06 - Knowledge Base update - Area Guides
I agree with Tefda. The Knowledge Base is just that - a collection of information where people can find answers to their Runescape questions. And while that may superficially be the same thing as Tip.It, the fact is that Tip.It is far more than the sum of its parts because of the community that it has given rise to. I dont think we'll be seeing any "Knowledge Base Events" happening any time soon, do you?

Is now the time to be leveling herblore?
The Miscellania and Pest Control updates have definitely made herblore much easier to level up , without a doubt. Combine them with Chaos Druids and you're into major xp gain/time :)

no more watering herbs
Yeah you never had to water them, but after an update you were told that you didn't have to.

Void Points
- Whats going with p hat prices?
Just as I said here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=468 ... c&start=45 Money moves from place to place, always supplemented by new money from the game which feeds new players.- Pest Control Question
Exactly. Where are the high levels going when they can't get in? Or are they wasting valuable minutes bashing away at world 78? If you are one of them post here and maybe we can get a consensus for a secondary Pest control world.- need major help
Easiest money in the game is , believe it or not, picking and selling flax. Apart from woodcutting, which you have tested (and obviously didn't make money from), all my money-making skills are higher than yours. I did a timed test of all of them - flax-picking came out on top! It takes seconds to fill an inventory, the bank is a few clicks away, and there is always a steady stream of eager buyers paying 100gp a pop. But you do need super energy pots to maximize your earning ability.- Pest Control Question
So, 'No' is basically the answer then. Any suggestions for a secondary Pest Control world? Answers on a postcard please - or post here - I can't be the only one having this problem surely?- challenge of the week!
What makes you think they are girls?- The bogus ¢â¬economy¢â¬
NO, real world economies are based on the resources of a given country i.e. oil or other mineral wealth. Central banks are run by these rich countries. They lend money to those countries which are deficient either in resources or the ability (wealth) to exploit them. Then they take that money back (with interest), putting already poor nations into further economic hardship.Thats why countries like the USA with vast oil & mineral deposits, as well as vast tracts of agricultural land, Great Britain, France etc. are extremely rich; whilst huge, mainly desert countries in Africa (who suffer from frequent droughts and poorly developed infrastructure) are extremely poor. But that's a whole new (off) topic. The point is, banks dont just give money out for free expecting nothing in return, Runescape DOES. If you don't believe me, either go to a bank and ask to borrow a million pounds or dollars; or go and cut down a tree and wait for it to respawn (I'm talking about REAL LIFE here)- need Phoenix gang member for quest
Prepare to be MOVED! Oh and 'Search' and 'Sticky' are good words to learn.- hi everyone i'm pretty new
What you said. (That's to you 'thefiring' not to 'whoopasse 666') To Whoopasse666, 'Welcome to Tip.It', although I too am a little unsure about your name. Having said that, you came to Tip.it to say 'Hi', so much can be forgiven :) :)- The bogus ¢â¬economy¢â¬
Shop? What shop? I've read the post through twice and found no mention of any shop. Then, just to be sure, did a CRTL_F search. Tobeyfox is absolutely right in what he is saying. The number of rares in the game stays more or less the same. The prices may rise but leavers and bannings probably account for those, otherwise its just money moving around. But as I have said before, all this talk of 'Economies' and 'Inflation' is basicallly tosh because, unlike any 'Real World' situation (where these terms have a significant meaning), Runescape creates cash out of thin air. This happens because of mining, woodcutting, monster killing etc. If Runescape had a real economy, the price of, for instance coal, would fluctuate on a day-by-day basis. But I have been playing for over a year and it has always been 180-200gp (unless you get lucky - which DOESN'T happen in the REAL WORLD)- TET Presents : TET Castle Warz!
If Im not too drunk after England's World Cup match (slim chance) I'll be at the first one :)- Wow! SIX MONTHS of Kingdom Results. 12.3 Mill gp spent
I have found the same thing. 'Collections' are made every 24 hours. But they seem to be based on your settings when that 24 hours ends. So as long as you switch before the 'Collections clock' ticks over 24 hours, you will get whatever you chose at that point. The same goes, I think, for cash deposited. As long as you have 750k+ in the pot when the collection is made, you will receive 75k's worth of goods, no matter whether it has been there all day or just for 5 minutes. - Whats going with p hat prices?
