  1. Heigh-[garden tool], Heigh-[garden tool], its off to work you go. Mining is the only real money making option open to you. Do as Stealther said, but I wouldn't bother with the mith. There's a lot of competition for the 5 ores and you'll mine 5 coal (sell for 200 each if you have a large number, say 500+) faster than you can make a mith bar.
  2. Unless you're lucky.
  3. Having World 78 as an 'unofficial official' high levels' world for Pest Control is all well and good; the xp (and now herb :) ) rate is great. But where do you go if you can't get in? Has a secondary 'unofficial official' world been established yet?
  4. Or we could just distribute all the rares, dragon items and cash equally among all the players. Then turn Runescape into an anarcho-syndicalist commune, where we take it in turns to act a sort of executive officer for the week. Of course, all the decisions of that officer would have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting... (Perhaps in a Tip.It poll?)
  5. If Reb jumped off a cliff, would you follow him? Who wouldn't? Well, you'd have to ask me nicely first! :)
  6. Spam? :) But you're Satenza so hey, what the hell?
  7. If Reb jumped off a cliff, would you follow him? Only joking, but take some time to get to know this guy before risking yourself. And look at his previous posts to get an idea of what he is like.
  8. NO! Because then you go out and mine/cut trees and fletch/ kill monsters etc. and the money reappears. Money CANNOT be deleted from Runescape, because the more we need it the harder we will work to get it!
  9. O RLY? Page 1 from an Ebay search of "Runescape gp": Item location for these offers is Manchester, UK. Current top bidder for those which have a bid is in United States. Before you make sweeping statements, get your facts right!
  10. I'll just keep buying my flour from the Lumbridge bank and keep the pot for Ectofuncting my Dragon bones, it only costs a few gp so who cares?
  11. Inflation? Economy? These are things that happen IN THE REAL WORLD! Countries' economies are based on their gold, mineral, oil etc. reserves and skills bases and fluctuate according to their trade (import/export) of these commodities. All of these factors are finite in one way or another. In Runescape, however, all these resources are infinite. Just because a new skill has arrived which actually takes money rather than generating it, the economy wont collapse, because we can all go and cut logs, mine coal or metals, catch fish etc. and sell them (if not to other players then to the other infinite source of cash - shops) or kill monsters to generate the money we need to fund our activities. As far as skill bases go, new players are entering the game all the time, existing players are creating 'Skill Pures', they all generate cash out of thin air. As fast as we can spend it, the game will give us the money we want. It always has and it always will. The only finite resources in the game are 'Rares' and their price will always increase as long as new players are entering the game or existing players are increasing their level and accumulating greater wealth, both of which create greater demand. Roonyuk said: Quote: Everything has fallen in price for one reason, because a new skill has come along, and everyone is selling all their worldy possesions, including some of the richer people in the game, But eventually they are going to want them back and Runescape will provide. i.e. A high level has sold his Dharok set to get his Construction level up. Then he wants his Dharok again. Several other players go to Barrows and get a Dharok item. High level buys his Dharok set back with money he has made from alching a pile of . The sellers then use the money they have made to raise their Construction level. Several people have now raised their Construction level. How much money has been 'drained' from the 'economy'? NONE There was no money drain because the money needed to fund Construction will come from players using all the means at their disposal to raise it.
  12. Deleted this post because I found another topic where it was more relevant and didn't want to get flamed for double posting. :)
  13. Surely, by 'X-ing out' you are becoming an inactive user, subjecting yourself to Jagex's "mechanisms designed to log out inactive users automatically". You are not attempting to circumvent those mechanisms, merely leaving yourself open to the consequences. It has already been established that your character does automatically log out of the game, so how can you be breaking the rule?
  14. Yeah, my point was the 'luck factor'.
  15. I disagree. Two days with 100% approval, 100% on herbs, 750k+ in coffers, but no herb seed! EDIT: 3 days no seed!
  16. Readability 1/10 (No website designers here then) Spelling 2/10 (Tralwer ?) Castlewars 100/10 ! I'm in for that if the time doesn't clash with work. My scores: Pedantry 12/10 Maths -50/10 (100/10 ?)
  17. That's your PC telling you to stop spilling coffee on it!
  18. 100% fishing, 50% mining with 100% approval and 75k paid out gave me this: From the way its laid out I'm guessing the emerald came from the mining and the rest from the fishing.
  19. Can you add another 250k into it so that it will fit into this result thread, please? If you don't have the cash then oh well but it would help if you could. :) Done. Sorry, didn't read the post thoroughly. I hate it when people do that
  20. Not all that random actually: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=462946
  21. I used to be in that camp, but its happened twice to me now, so I'm sticking with the optimists from now on. Mind you, I try to be nice IRL too but I've yet to wake up and find the keys to a Porsche under my pillow :( , so maybe its strictly a Runscape thing?
  22. Good point - edited (and that was after I took out the third 'E', but I have been drinking  ) And how do you know my initials?
  23. Its a virus. And everyone's a carrier MWUHAHAHAHA Not everyone, I made sure to get a vaccine for the Karmatopicitis :P . You can never be too careful (I wonder how many more carriers are roaming around Tip.it...) THOUSANDS..............
  24. Nice to see an "I'm back" post, instead of all the "I'm leaving" posts. (Which of course, in time, will all be "I'm back" posts - they can run but they can't hide  )
  25. Its a virus. And everyone's a carrier MWUHAHAHAHA
