  1. First off: Hi from travian. I may be stupid but I don't know what that is. :-# What? You aren't Robbin Hood from travian server 7 who happens to have a village named Sherwood forest? Hmph well if you won't admit it maybe I'll just have to send an attack on your town. Ah I looked it up. Travian is some MMORPG. Nope that's not me mate. :-# Great coincidence though. Ah you must be kidding me... that is just too big of a coinsidence. I mean, you just happen to have nearly the same name as him AND have the same village name as in your Location: in your tip.it profile. So you have NO idea how that happened? Hey if you're not telling the truth it's alright... I'm in your alliance I can't attack you. But I suppose you could be telling the truth.

  3. They still weren't secrets. I was saying you can't hide methods like that, eventually people find out. And even if they don't care for the method at first, the secret is still discovered.
  4. First off: Hi from travian. Now on topic: If someone could devote themselves to calculating and testing several of the best known methods today we could find the absolute best one. But then of course, that spot would be crowded, and it would not be the best anymore. Then the second best spot would be chosen, but then it would become crowded. It would all become a cycle between all the best methods, so I don't think one method would really stand out as what we can call 'revoluationary.' Some people on this thread forgot to add the 'crowded' factor.
  5. I'm pretty sure they were basically saying rock lobsters are faster exp, but cost more (obviously), and waterfiends are less exp but cost less. Seems to make sence to me.
  6. I kicked myself SO HARD when I found out how to safespot Sara. That was a legitimate revolutionary method that everyone had overlooked. I'm not letting that happen again. Chances are slim you discovered that first. I bet at least 50 people knew about that first. But of course, they didn't dare share it, but it had to get out eventually. The sara safespot method spread like a plague. I didn't say I knew about it first. I didn't find out until, I kid you not, the night it got deleted. I went out, saw someone doing it while I was getting KC, found an empty world, went in, and it didn't work. Found out later it was because they deleted the safespot while I was getting KC. Oh, I couldn't tell what you were saying, I thought you were saying you discovered it first... sorry then.

  8. Let's sum of this thread... First rule of runescape: You can't keep a secret so matter how hard you try. If someone has indeed discovered a revolutionary method of training that no one knows about, it doesn't exist. I'm suprised some runescape veterans on this threat didn't realize this was just bull. It's crazy what people will do for this kind of information.
  9. These are just from Cw :) But they are just idiots and sometime I go off and call them CW pkers and some other choice words but nothing too offensive. I usually go off on how they fail at BH so they try to pk here. The worst is honor pking in FOG and CW. Castle wars was like that way before the removal of the wilderness.
  10. In the wilderness days potions, food, armor, weapons, ect. were all at great prices. Without pkers skillers suffer, without skillers pkers suffer. It's like an equation. I think skillers can ignore a few insults and in return make a lot more money. Reviving pking will revive profitable skilling. If jagex doesn't screw this up (oh please god), natures may rise 300gp, barrows may become an awesome way to make money again, and... godswords may go up in price! Eh... I could tell this topic would be flame central the minute I saw that title.
  11. Well I know one reason why anyone should stay: PVP ONLY WORLDS.
  12. "-The clan chats will have a use as clans will be able to gain a territory and defend it." I think you meant to say clan chats will now have their original purpose fulfilled. Jagex really wanted them to be used primaraly for communication within a clan, but clans already had MIRC and such. With the (hopefully) intense PvP worlds clans will actually be forced to use runescape's clan chats. A few seconds away from the screen to check out MIRC could mean a quick death. "-Bounties will be able to be placed on players who anger certain other players (not sure how they'd be paid, but I'm sure someone would figure it out)." Extremely unsucessful in the old wilderness and will probably be unsucessful here. Not only will it be very difficult to actually track a player down to his exact location, the player with the bounty on him could probably just hop worlds at any time. "-Item prices will rise to pre-removal days! (I remember when lower level armor was expensive - 200k for a rune set was a hell of a lot in my f2p career)." I'll cry tears of joy when that happens. I've never been excited so much about an update- this will probably go down as one of the best updates in the history of runescape. I think it will truly change runescape both for skillers and pkers. Pkers will have their wilderness back and skillers will be the ones to feed them food, pots, weapons, and other equipment. "-Item prices will rise to pre-removal days! (I remember when lower level armor was expensive - 200k for a rune set was a hell of a lot in my f2p career)." Why the hell would anyone wear around a phat in a PvP everywhere world anyway? XD "-RS will have a higher player retention rate. People are unpredictable, pking will never get too routine." I just love the total freedom of the whole update. The fact that people can ambush unsuspecting players, coordinate large attacks with clan chats, or just defend varrock with their life is awesome. And best of all, players are totally unpredictable as you said. "And a closing thought, I think the player population will become more mature as I think PKing will evolve to a state that requires a good mind for strategy and generally more higher-level thinking than ever before. Not to mention the word "noob" will be thrown around a lot less casually considering it may become dangerous to do so." AMEN BROTHER.
  13. Well, I enjoy raising my combat skills so I can hit higher and more acurately later in castle wars. There are fast exp methods to train your combat skills with very few clicks involved. You can literally just leave you character alone for up to a few minutes or so.
  14. The best training guide ever? Maybe you should reconsider your title and have a look around this forum, I can think of one guide off the top of my head that beats this method in exp per hour. And I'm not talking about pest control. Besides that, good guide. It's simple and to the point, none of that complicated or unnecessary stuff that most guide-writers try to squeeze in. I've tried frogs myself and they're good exp (but as I said it's not the fastest) and good money per kill.
  15. This update may be so ridiculously popular people may never return to the normal runescape worlds and spend all their time in the PvP worlds. It'll be like a totally different runescape. Scary to think about.
  16. I could understand bandits, but why zombie monkies?
  17. Question in the title, is pest control still the fastest way to train attack/strength/defense?
  18. They might have items (such as that 70+ equipment) that can only be traded in the PvP worlds. People could sell these items on the grand exchange too, and only people in PvP worlds could buy it.
  19. Jagex did mention there will be level restrictions with who you fight, so theres not complete freedom with fighting with anyone. When Jagex mentioned about the good 'ol days of Runescape, they make it sound so ancient, as if it was like hundred years ago. :P I didn't say you could pk anyone, I said anywhere you go. I read the part about the level restrictions. But still, this update will rock!
  20. A reference to the Stone of Jas? Yikes another reference... this quest is a train wreck of references, makes me even more excited!
  21. This will be the first quest where I'll actually start training my combat stats pretty hard to prepare for it. If it's bigger than recipe, it's got to have some intense fights.
  22. Nearly cried when I read that. FINALLY they have recognized this great idea of PvP dedicated worlds, where everywhere is the wilderness. That's been suggested for many years now, and FINALLY they're going to release it. Honestly, it was a bit late. This will possibly be the greatest update to PvP in the history of runescape. Just imagine walking around and pking people anywhere you go. Jagex can't possibly screw this up.
  23. They're adding more than they are finishing... seriously. So no, they will never finish all the storylines if they continue in this direction. Although I'm really hoping the plague series would end with an extremely difficult Morning's end part 3.
  24. The Scary movie series was incredibly funny and well-done. I was totally expecting the 4th one to be worse, maybe because they had run out of jokes, but it was even better than the 3rd one. It was a great series to remember. But after that everything was sh*t except for Date Movie which was decent. They could do nothing but spit crap like George Lucas with Star Wars episode 2 and 3. It just seemed like a totally different director and everything. They need to stop with this Disaster movie... the preview was terrible.
