another thing to help is lots of water. take loads of bottle of water wherever you go. sip the water everytime u feel u need to smoke, it helps, given that u will need to go to the toilet quite often might not be desireable but it'll still help u give up.

the story is kinda carried on in x-2. thats a fun game. try and complete that. i completed 10 and i didnt use aeons for the final battles. i got all the celestial weapons and have got them all fully charged, i'm still working on the monster arena monsters. i can kill most of them... the original ones are hard. i've killed all the dark aeons... that was tough... i'm also working on getting tough enough to kill penance... thats the monster with full 255 stats. its a good game... my favourite aeon must be anima. theres no competition.

i'd say geddy lee or john myung. just listen to yyz or metropoils from the bands they are in. metropolis has my favourite bass solo in.. and i've seen myung play it live.

you make me laugh... speed metal symphony is by cacophony, marty friedman and jason becker on guitars. but yeh thats a good solo song... kinda. dream theater - lost without you. john petrucci plays guitar with the keyboardist playing underneath but thats it. its amazing.

octavarium: that thing he plays is called a continuum fingerboard. its an amazing experience to see him play it. he played it live for over 5 mins on the intro to octavarium, all eyes were on him, never seen so many people interested in the player and the equipment they were using equally.

good choice. on intros i prefer take the time by dream theater. its an amazingly complex peice of drumming... portnoy cant play it live...

this is my first guitar. i've had it just over 2 years now. this is my newestguitar. about 1 year old now. i also have a cabinet thats 350W me and my dad made it. it sounds amazing. i have a watkins copicat, and i know how to use it properly. i also play drums although i cant set my kit up cos i dont have a snare stand or a hi hat stand at the moment. we also have a piano in the hall way which i can partially play. i used to have lessons but i gave up.

guitar: schecter 006 elite. head: line 6 spider 150W head cab: home made by me and my dad. can handle 350W. its loud. i tried my guitar against a gibson les paul. prefered the 006. better guitar. more flexible pickups. 6 different ways. oh and i play speed metal.

to watch, mike portnoy is. :P in the song octavarium he sings whilst playing. he sings backing in quite a few others aswell. carey is a physics geek. i found that out quite a while ago and found it an amusing fact.

rap metal. rage against the machine. a guitarists band. a rappers vocals. funk bass. slayer. thrash metal. a band for speed. lyrics are almost rapped. but very fast. and to music. and actually decent lyrics.

never disrespect anime, its like saying, "i dont like any music with a guitar in it"... it is amazing... ok Yu-Gi-Oh was actually awful... and as far as japanese things go, they are probably the most inventive with creatures, i thnk most people would have trouble creating an army of more than 10 creatures that you've made in your head... and what would be hard about it, is drawing them. and i do draw manga, i'm currently working on mythological creatures. pokemon... not much to say... as animation goes, pokemon was pretty good... story was awful in the cartoon. red was all i played... i had 151, and i was god damn proud...
