make the most of your gems by making items with the highest exp http://tip.it/runescape/?page=crafting_guide.htm#jewels
  2. mine pure ess for 3 hours?
  3. 1) What do you need to make tele tablets and how are they made? 2) Is it an instant teleport? 3) Can they be made at another players house? 4) Are they tradable? 1. soft clay, runes for the specific teleport 2. yes, it's a one-click-teleport 3. yes, i believe so. not 100% sure 4. yes
  4. hurah, RAHK triumphs again! Your calculations match exactly with mine, just to augment your data a little: To get 13m construction exp, you will spent the following (at 100% efficiency): with oak LOGS, cook mith mas 181hrs 67m gp 5.1 gp/xp 2.4m smithing exp addy mas 163hrs 60m gp 4.6gp /xp 2.2m smithing exp rune mas 148hrs 55m gp 4.2gp/xp 2.0m smithing exp with oak LOGS, demon butler larder 78hrs 88m gp 6.7gp/xp 0.0m smithing exp with oak PLANKs, cook mith mas 157hrs 101m gp 7.8 gp/xp 2.4m smithing exp addy mas 141hrs 91m gp 7.0gp /xp 2.2m smithing exp rune mas 129hrs 82m gp 6.3gp/xp 2.0m smithing exp with oak PLANKS, demon butler larder 45hrs 120m gp 9.2gp/xp 0.0m smithing exp
  5. birdnest is untradable until you crush it.
  6. why must you go for the water orb? Earth and air orbs are much easier to access, and you get the same alch gp (9.3k) as well as higher exp. Glory ammies really help when staving this way. The problem with your calculation is you did not account for the time it takes for alching, getting raw material, running back-and-forth, and selling whatever finished product. I can tell you for a fact getting the raw material and running time would be the biggest time consumer in battlestaving. PS you do not need any elemental runes to enchant orbs, just wield the correct elemental staff. PPS there's two magic shops with battlestaves: yanille mage tower lvl2 and varrock staff shop
  7. i believe paypal does the rate conversion, not the JaGex pay by cash. I do not know much about the rate conversions, but the following give you a idea https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/websc ... es-outside I'll suggest pay on multi-month bases to save yourself some money. They charge an adminstrative fee for each transaction.
  8. does muting Midi in your volume play control help? this topic should be moved to technical...
  9. which do you recommend, darklight spec or dd against demons, w/o demons? How much does it drain? 10%? 20%? by points?
  10. it's part of the recipe to disaster quest
  11. Great job on analyzing and correcting my raw data. I agree that my MAS stat is on the low side. Certainly, I have not learned all the time-saving techiques and avoiding misclickings. I believe your calculations are more correct than mine. Once you have the numbers finalized, I wouldn't be surprised if this guide is tipit-worthy. Conclusions: Using Demon Butler is a must for larders, efficiency is increased by over 200% (25 to 69) in comparison /w using the cook as servant. Meanwhile, MAS only gain a minor boast of ~20% (82 to 96) from utilizing demon butler in comparison to cook. Time saving techniques, such as sending out servant before utilizing all the oak planks can increase efficiency over 30% ( reduce 10-20sec / round). a few minor note: I don't understand why only 2 MAS is made in the cycle? The cook can hold 16, so wouldn't 8 MAS be made instead of (2+3) = 5? same question for the 11. The demon butler can hold 26, but we need to have 7 space taken by: hammer, saw, gp, plank note, mith large, mith kite, mith body. Wouldn't we sent the demon butler out for 20 items? One last thing, for making larders /w demon butler, it's only possible to finish 2 larders by the time he returns. So it's necessary to add +5sec to each round: 10 min / 26+(5x1) * 3 = 58 larder max per 10 minute period If you like, I'll double check the values for you, but I believe the data is true and correct. Armed with this, I believe you can finalize your guide with the true cost/benefit of training with MAS and Larder. PS great guide, glad I can help in some way.
  12. lvl 95 /w 85magic 75range. Dont want to deal with the frustration
  13. if you're short on cash, full torag will work just fine.
  14. you could get the egg ring back from draynor village if you participated in the event before.
  15. The rest of the data: # of mas made in 10min /w butler: start 200 oaks logs end 100 oaks logs 200 - 100 = 100 oak / 2 oak/mas =50 mas / 10min # of Larders made in 10min /w demon butler: starting 500 oak logs end 116 oak logs 500 - 116 = 384 oak / 8 oak/larder = 48 larder/ 10min ------------------------------ around 12-15 sec for butler a trip 1-5 sec for him to walk to you 5 sec for convo 5-7 sec for remove/build cycle ------------------------------ Theoretical maximum /w butler for mas: 12sec/trip *2 + 1 sec/walk * 2 + 5 sec/cov * 2 = 36 sec / round trip 20 log / 2 log/mas * 5sec/mam = 50 sec / trip 10min * 60sec/min / (50+36) * 10 mas/trip = 70 mas / 10min Theoretical maximum /w butler for larder: 12sec/trip *2 + 1 sec/walk * 2 + 5 sec/cov * 2 = 36 sec / round trip *build time is shared with round trip time, therefore not counted 10min * 60sec/min / (36) * 2.5 larder/trip = 41.5 larder / 10min *The build time cannot be shared when doing mam because if the butler return the logs into your inventory, you can no longer remove the armor (you do not have the space for it). ------------------------------ around 7 sec for demon butler a trip 1-5 sec for him to walk to you 5 sec for convo 5-7 sec for remove/build cycle ------------------------------ Theoretical maximum /w demon butler for mas: 7sec/trip *2 + 1 sec/walk * 2 + 5 sec/cov * 2 = 26 sec / round trip 20 log / 2 log/mam * 5sec/mam = 50 sec / trip 10min * 60sec/min / (50+26) * 10 mas/trip = 79 mas / 10min Theoretical maximum /w demon butler for larder: 7sec/trip *2 + 1 sec/walk * 2 + 5 sec/cov * 2 = 26 sec / round trip *build time is shared with round trip time, therefore not counted: 10min * 60sec/min / (26) * 3 larder/trip = 69 larder / 10min
  16. Although your estimates are quite close to reality, if you make the larders/mam while the butler go unnote the oaks for you, you are utilizing the trip time to make larders, ie the larder time will not be part of equation: If you're efficient enough /w demon butler, you can theoretically make: 25 round trip/10min * 3 larder/trip = 75 larders every 10 minute More likely to be only 50-70% efficiency, I'll test it with demon butler some other time. RE to above post, heading off to class. One note, the above test is done with Butler, not Demon Butler, and noted oak logs, not oak planks. Will return to finish the debate
  17. XD RAHK, you're on! Will let you know in 10min. This is my setup: 500 oaks LOGS, hammer, saw, cash starting at 10:30:00 EST will end at 10:40:00 EST I have a butler--------------- 20 oak logs note - receive 20 oak logs 20 oak logs + 5k gp - receive 20 oak planks 20 oak logs note - receive 20 oak logs 2 larder ------ 20 oak logs + 5k gp remove larder receive 20 oak planks 20 oak logs note 3 larder receive 20 oak logs repeat cycle --- Starting EXP 1096691 Logs remaining: 220 Total logs used: 280 exp: 1113491 280 logs / 8 = 35 larder/10min XD right at middle between your # and mine I think I can push 45 /w demon butler
  18. take a trip to wildy with it? Wait, is it a Wakka? If it's not a Wakka, you can't make it to wildy. Maybe just edgy then?
  19. I am quite interested in your experiment but I have a few points that i question: Why is there a difference in speed between larders and mma for you? The animation of constructing and removing a larder or a mma should be exactly the same, so wouldn't it be 60 mma comparing to 60 larders? Perhaps you are assuming for the extra number of trips the servant have to make: 60 mma * 2 oak/mma / 16 oak/cook = 7.5 trips/cook 60 larders * 8 oak/mma / 16 oak/cook = 30 trips/cook assuming that the servant takes 10sec per trip, that means the servant will take this much more time for larder: cook (30-7.5) = 22.5 trips * 10 sec/trip / 60sec/min = 3.5min 60 larder/ 13.5min = 44 larder / 10min Which is around the amount of larders I make 10 min. Perhaps you're more used to making mam than making larders?
  20. i believe the varrock clothing shop and east clothing shop has a few of what you need.
  21. Is it worth the 4.5m to get the slight bonus it has over glory? no Will the price drop much further? No, it has been that price pretty much since it's released. Unless there's an update that make getting tokkul easier and cheaper

  23. kill a few splatters. Each of them will take 10+ damage off you, guranteed.
  24. you do not receive exp for attacking monsters in your house, so it's not recommended. They also don't drop anything
