Is Jagex Over Cooking Runescape?
As OP said, everyone have their own taste. Perhaps you do not enjoy quests and only do them for the rewards, other people (such as I do). I enjoy the uniqueness of each quest, for the plot, creativity, challenges, and puzzles. It make you glad that you're not playing WoW or other games where all quests involve the format: kill/gather # [insert monster/item here] and return for exp. The quests actually pertain and expand the RS storyline, and it's vital to the game experience. Contrary to the claims that the recent quests are "shallow," "boring," or "weak," I believe there's a general trend of improvement in the quest's creativity, humor, style, detail. Don't forget, our first quest into this world IS bringing 20 balls of wool for a farmer (+4 qp). I died twice in Contact, barely lived through the hail of snow from the ice trolls, and that's just this year. Of course, if you don't like quests, period. Then the regular two quest a month, no matter how good they are, will not appeal to you, but that certainly isn't an excuse that the rest of us should be deprieved of them. [i'll address the others later]

Ever asked yourself why?
Bravo! You're absolutely right! Who is to judge that our experience in this game values any less than experiences else where? The life lessons are still life lessons, the happiness are still happiness, the pain still pain, the accomplishments still accomplishments. Ultimately, we're still interacting with other people and growing with them, just on a different platform.

Farming timer/counter !!
I hope you will keep improving this brilliant tool! What's the possibility of overlaying this into a miniature world map, thus making it easier to identify the plots?

Ever asked yourself why?
I play because RuneScape is one of those few constants in life. I started near the start of the game and had quit, returned, and quit again. Summers and Springs passed, purberty, high school, love, college, snow; life keep changing, progressing, evolving, sometimes to the point where I wonder will I ever able to stop playing "catch-up" with rest of the world. In those times, I turned to RuneScape, for it's always there, it's comforting. Sure, there'll be a patch or two, new worlds open up, new players, new areas and monsters and quests, but the gameplay remains ever so familiar; the cities and streets are still there - Varrock, Falador, O' River Lum. It's a sense of home-coming, returning to the old world where the changes are mild and predictable.

House Question: How do u determine the direction of rooms?
When you're placing a new room, the doors are represented by ghostly doors (look more like two walls, in truth). Use those as guides. If you don't quite understand how it works, use some cheap parlours to practice.

Tea Flask
I think this might one day lead to the development of unique equipments. The reason that the satchel cannot stack because to the game, they're two different items. Currently, one rune axe is equivalent in every other rune axe in the game. That's the reason why it's stackable, this is the same for any two phats, feathers, etc. However, the game sees each satchel as a different item, therefore each satchel, is in the game sense, unique. Sure, for the players, that doesn't meant much. However, what if JaGex later implant this method to new equipments? Say... a new weapon, or armor. Instead of having mass produced armor, we have an unique, unstackable armor? Since it's unique, we are no longer constrained by the everyone-has-the-same-thing-as-you problem. No longer will we all wear full rune and wield a stand issued whip. We can have a flaming sword of vampirism +2, extra str, 50/100 durability, made by Silverion. Imagine how revolutionary this would be for RuneScape? How it completely revamp Smithing/Crafting/Construction/etc. Of course, this might take a while.

Party Hats - The Only Tradeable Skillcape?
it's not so much that phats are the only tradable achievement cape but achievement cape is the non-tradable phats. As OP said, achievement capes are only a year old.

Interfaces and Spooky Update 16 january 07
I like these new updates, making the interface looking allot slicker, although it's becoming slightly inconsistent between those that are updated and those aren't. I wish the runescape designer that worked on this simply go through all of it and set a consistent font size, style, format, color, etc throughout instead of changing it based on incoming need. It'd make this very important part of runescape much easier to look on. btw, I'm sure the firecape and missing red text thing are bugs, anyone wanna submit it?

Having trouble with Contact!
I'm lvl 103 combat. It took me 5 tries (1 death) to beat the boss, so you're not alone. For some reason, this quest's difficulty varies for person to person. Some people gets a few lucky hits on boss and finish him in a few seconds, others like me die and die again. If you go to the lowest level, it's normal for you to lose quite a few fishes along the way. I recommend you go the long way to save your food, bring your best melee armor, best weapon, ring of life, one or two p pots, super set, antipoison, tele, light source and tinderbox, and the rest food. Conserve your food as much as you can, pray mage when you fight the boss. Play it safe. You'll make it, I'm sure of it. If you need help, give me a pm.

Best str bonus armor combination?
the tipit max hit calculator has essentially all the strength bonuses listed out (except for the newest barbarian assault platebody that gives +4 str)

All discussion here: Jan 2, 2006 - Rule 7 and Rule 9 Updated
Let's brush aside the angst for the rule reversal, i am wondering what does this mean for the tipit stance towards 3rd party clients? Now that there is guidelines for 3rd party clients, does it implies that JaGex is offering a sort of 'amnesity' and 'official sanction' for 3rd party clients? Furthermore, does it mean tipit's position towards them will soften? Or God forbid, does this mean tipit will consider making its own client for the benefit of our user base? JaGex is opening a can of warms!
