So how exactly does Jagex define "disrespectful?" Also what's to stop people turning their filters off and reporting anyone who swears? Nothing, just like nothing that could be done if people reported people for doing it before the update. If someone is making racist or seriously offensive comments then report them, just as you would have done before this update. Before the update if you just said "[racist term]" it would show up in chat as "******". Now you can say "[racist term]" and it shows up as "[racist term]", thus you get reported. surely not if there your mate.. its like if you say [bleep]ing hell that was mad and someone reported you then you wouldn't be banned :) blyaunte - please reply to me this is doing my head in, i hate haivng a one way argument/ conversation wateva.. x

So, if people "learn" racism (as well as possibly inherit some aspects of it), then why would anyone allow such acts to go unchallenged when it is within their power to affect change? Do you honestly think that people should be allowed to make such degrading remarks about other people in front of impressionable minds and, therefore, continue the pattern of behaviour? I agree but then, how does one "counter" racism? Do we sit idly by and just allow it to happen because "it's just a game"? Then if we allow people to continue making racist remarks unchallenged, do you not by your silence condone their racism? That is the problem though. "be whoever looks cool" you said? how do you know she doesn't find that Cool? 3 - I'm sure you know full well that Africa is not the only place that people with different color skins are from? I'm sure you Educated enough to realize that no matter where you are in the world you will never find a country with simply one color, one race or one ethnicity. 4 - And as for examples you used in relevant's to real life, you can get arrested and charged for offensive and racist remarks. So in a sense u can report them. Yeh, it seems like Torva, higher phats are all max cash+. I gotta ask though, will it be possible to extend the limit somehow? I would honestly hate to see "street" prices come back. >.> Spirit shards are the only way to really hold more than max cash but other than that, I don't see how people are gonna add more cash to a trade without breaking the limit other than using the faulty and stupid system of junk. One person can trade like 8b in shards to another but the other person would have to add the cracker and somehow fill up 5b with other things. And now the profanity toggle on/off update - allowing players to swear and use the most vulgar language on earth - which was previously almost completely blocked. It is almost like Jagex wants there to be no rules? Please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks this is so wrong? Yes there are older players (such as myself), however older players mean being wiser and more mature. Swearing is not wise and it certainly isn't mature. id consider myself rich, santa and 100m cash, but im pretty suire i wont get hacked. i dont chat to many people on rs, and definately dont download stuff they tell me to. ive played for 7/8 years and have only been hacked once. and that was me giving someone my pass to get me a fire cape lol.

yeah, ive screwed friends over before. simple thing, theyre not friends, all i talk about to them is rs stuff or vague irl stuff. i dont believe in internet friends, its sad. lol. in fact, ive probs owned 4 green masks, 1 red, 6 santas and an easter egg. all of them scammed by 'friends' (why hasnt lend always been around :() id lose an rs friend for 10m, unless i thought i could get more later lol. edit: id like to say tho, i wouldnt screw a rl god friend for 1million £. I have a scythe, but i never actually wear it.. i mean you equip harpoon for fishing, axe for chopping, pick for mining. crafting, con, fletching, herblore is all done at the bank. wield scecateurs for farming, staff for alching.. with all of them you could safely wear a p hat or santa and show it off. none of them you can wield a scythe. i dont think theyd be worth very much, also considering every player got one back then thered be what.. at least 300k? right now since theyre non tradeable you dont see many as people have quit, but if they were tradeable theyd still be in circulation.. id say 30m, probally wouldve stabalised at 10m for a few years, since santa was ~ 20m for TIIIME. but yeah.. i hate my scythe lol

personally i think (nothing to back this up) green is the rarest and white the most common, but thats just from what i've seen. I mean even though purps got duped the most all p hats were duped, and purple goes with the least outfits.. All the guys who posted above me are [bleep]s btw, too many people on these forums think they know all. (/thread wtf is that about..) if price was dictated by ammount then all p hats wouldve stayed in the same order of expense, but they havn't, so it doesn't. id love to know how many p ahts there are in total. probaly not more than a thousand for some i wouldve thought..

But not everything needs proof, like can you people not just remmber things and take it like that? my IRL friend uses forums all the time yeah, and he bangs on about proof all the time. Haha, I definately know what you mean. Yesterday I had about 15m, today I have 150. I managed to get a santa for 5m on GE, which kinda makes it feel worthless. But I think its only a few players that feel like this, and those are all players with rares. I reckon its just becuazse it was such a big change and the markets went CRAZY still are in fact, basically everythings sorting itself out after being artificially priced. You had a p hat aswell and considering the crazy rises going on there, thats probally why you feel like it.. Also for me personally I always get disillusioned when i come into cash. for me at least ive fluctuated between 1-150m ever since i started and everytime i get the rares i strive for i never feel like i imagined i would.. but yeah, i mean p hats were like 100m when the ,limits came in right? maybe more i cant remmeber.. but they only went up 300m over 3 years or something, thats definately not right, especially considering the ammount of cash being created with the limits, and bounty and tricking etc. EDIT: oh yeah, and for me personally, i break a sweat when im in the wildy risking 5m so count yourself lucky if you dont mind staking 100!!

But they brought back the wild because it was a stupid thing to remove in the first place. that was why people played. when they removed it, people quit yes, but that didn't stop new players from starting up in their place. yeah but thats a temporary publicity blip, plus like i said the fiigures are undeniable, i dont know when they said they were going to return the wil and free trade. but in december they only had 2.5m unique visitors. thats less than they used to get... therefore less players. whys everyone so argumentative on this forum, i thought RS forums wer bad but there always seems to be at least someone agreeing with you. I don't see how you can think that in general RS is growing, when it is not. Even if you get 200k online at weekends RS still used to get 300k..

Well its undeniable that a lot less players are using it, maybe theres a small boost right now, but in december i heard ther were 2.5m uniquie hits on rs, around 3 years ago it wsas 4.5-6.5m . I dunno I still think that the games slowly dying.

For rares its probally quicker to trade in person, at least until the prices stop fluctuating so much, because you'll actually see what people are selling at. The Ge doesn't give any indication of how much the items are on there for does it?? its nicer aswell and you make money doing it. I want to see rare merching returned properlly. Personally I think that items over 20m per shouldn't be sold on the GE!
