uh oh H4x0rz!! i didnt even think about that!

I think it will for rares, probally all items over 100m. Its a much nicer way of trading, i think it looks better than the GE, I loved how it was totally player made aswell. There was just something about hanging out there all day merching random things and seeing all the pro players and merchers :) But I guess we'll have to wait and see if people actually start trading there again.. I think there is a demand for player-player trading and if that happens we'll need a location!

from what Ive seen, I dunno Ive only been looking for 2 days or so. I swear there sued to always be level 16s and 21s and 50s that wernt pures. I just havnt seen like any around recently. But you tell me mate, youve probally played a lot mroe than me recently.

Obv its not gunna actually die, but as a fun game. Loads of old MMORPGS are dead now, theres may still be 50k people who play but the game is broken, obsolete and dead. Alright maybe its because I'm an old player and I remember the good old times and all that crap, but there are so many parallels in the game now, uber rare drops being worth nothing and really commmon drops being worth loads (respectively). I mean I'm sure its not just me and that there are hardly any new players compared to veterans. If that carries on the game will die, you need noobs for a game to work i swear.

Ok so basically I've been playing this game looong time. Since free trade was cancelled I slowed down my playing and pretty much stopped within the last year.. But then my brother told me it was returning! so I've been on for the last few days, and to me it seems that RS is dying and this is a latch ditch attempt to save it. I remember there was always a fairly equal spread of levels and skills, but in the last few days I've noticed that the majority of players seem to have been playing for years, most people under level 100 seem to be skillers. Almost EVERYONE has skill capes and that means that almost everyone has played ALOT of RS. My brothers also told me that even staple items are fluctuating in price most of the time. Now I got 99 fletching before auto fletch and that was over about 6 months. Over that 6 months the price of bowstrings did not change one bit. The proper price (buying bulk) was 100 per. Now I've just looked at bow string prices within the last 30 days and its dropped 100gp!! Maybe that's because of the trade announcement (I don't know when that was) but I think its because of the terrible state of economy. Now that's a fairly bad sign to me. Same with a shark, you look at the fluctuation over 180 days of one of the most staple items in the game. They used to be 1-1.1k and stayed like that for at least a year or two, maybe 3. Now in half a year they have gone from 750-1.15k and everywhere in between. So much of the game is completely outdated now and you need to grind so much to get standard gear that new players are being put off. Now for a MMORPG to be in good health you need all levels of players, RS is definitely becoming a top level heavy game and that will kill it if it carries on. With trade and wilderness being restored hopefully the item prices will level, but I think that botting, goldfarming and goldbuying is going to come back with a vengeance which will impact on prices negatively. Maybe over time it will right itself. But I dunno, this feels like the beginnning of the end to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but it definitely feels like it to me, what do you think? I dunno if anyone has ever heard about the 10000 theory? Apparently in life you need to spend 10000 hours to become truly good at something. I think that I have spent over 10000 hours over the 7 or 8 years I've played.. I'd much rather have become amazing at guitar or a paid DJ.. OH WELL I really hope they do bring out something saying this though, it would be interesting as I've been so on and off for so long. EDIT: Ive played 185 days 4 hours.. which apparently is 4444 hours lol.. not as bad as I though but stull pretty dam bad really!

The difference between RS and tv is that you can turn the tv off whenever, you don't set yourself goals. I beleive that people addicted to RS are just looking for something to give them a sense of accomplishment and it is a lot easier to get that through a computer.. Im gunna quit RS straight off..

Ok so I always thought that it was unfair that certain items, that were worth far more than items that you would keep, were lost on death. I could see why Jagex couldn't do that when prices were player controlled but now they have written almost in concrete the prices of tradeable items, why can't they base what you keep on death on the GE prices? You would have thought it would be fairly easy!

If you want to stop getting bombed day after day then agree to hamas' terms. Hamas are freedom fighters, nto terrorists and Israel are oppresors. It probaly wasn't like that to start of with but Israel has stolen their land and choked their community. What Israel is doing is sick What Hamas is doing is sick Israel could solve it. By Hamas backing down they will eventually be killed for opposing ilegal settlements on their land and ilegal expansion of already overly large Israeli territory. Allahu Akbar!!!!!!

I really don't understand why the US has such an obligation to defend ISrael even when, like you said, it blatently violated human rights or took unnessacary or ilegal actions.

Maybe not the best title lol. Firstly, I don't mean its people, I mean its government and foreign policy (when I say America in this post I will mean its government and policies). I want you to tell me why they arn't as selfish as I think and correct me about anything if I'm wrong please :-# Right, I've been looking at America foreign policy really since Iraq, I was quite young at the time(13) but I could still see that Iraq wasn't right, even then. Since then my feelings towards America has been of growing discust. It seems to me that America has, since the end of WW2, has taken it upon itself to police the world, they arguew that they are bringing democracy and peace to the world, I argue that they are fighting against democracy and peace. From my limited understanding the war in Vietnam seemed to have been based on the idea that communism is evil, is it really anybodies right to say how a country runs itself? Now from what I can understand JFK said 2 days before he was shot that he wanted to pull out of Vietnam and the day before he was shot he pulled out 500(can't remember excactly) troops from Nam, he was then shot by a man that has ties with the CIA, who was then shot by a member of the CIA while being held for questioning (suspicious). I would also like to question the assassination of Lenon, and to point out that a member of the CIA also attempted to assasinate Bob Marley. Is America really home of the free? Are the government scared of their own people realising how ridiculous their foreign policies are? Is the war against drugs (pretty much weed) started mainly from the fact that so many protestors of Vietnam smoked weed? Recently I cannot see how the world is standing for George Bush bullying and getting his own way on practially every issue. Walking out on the Kyoto treaty was probally one of the most insanely selfish, arrogant and stupid thing that any leader of a country, especially the one that has contributed the most towards carbon emmissions, could do. Trying to change the endangered species act is also another ridiculously selfish act by the Bush. Another major thing is his incrimination of other countries for having nuclear weapons, where America and Israel and many other countries have pleanty. How can you stop a country (Iran) from devloping nuclear reactors that are probally going to use them to make electricity when you have nuclear warheads and are planning on making more? How can you then place this country in your 'Axis of Evil' when Iran has been involved in very little wars and done very little wrong to anyone and America has killed millions in the last 40 years. I would like to point out a few UN proposals that America has vetoed over the last 40 years, please tell me where the reasoning comes from.. Where does America get off telling us they're pro freedom and pro democracy when every one of their recent actions has been working against it. How is this right? I'm going to a protest in London this weekend about this. I'm pretty confused about Israel and Gaza etc to be honest because it looks to me like Israel effectively stole Palestinian land over the last 40 odd years? If this is the case then I really can't see why anybody would be supporting Israel as Palestine are simply retaliating to being forced into a small slither of land and the west bank which just seems blatently wrong. Hamas are firing rockets into Israel but Israel has been blockading and smothering Palestinians for years, I don't think there's a simple resolution at all. To be honest I think if anyone had to be uprooted from land then it should at least have been in a country that decided upon creating Israel, you can't just create a country and screw the people living there, it kinda seems to me like Israel might be one of the main reasons that there are so many anti western feelings going about and why we're in a war against 'terror'. To be fair, if I was forced to move from my land, shunned into a tiny strip of land and then blockaded and invaded and then declared to be living in Israel I'd be shooting as many rockets as I could. It's absolutely appauling that they are doing that, but it was absolutely appauling that they arn't in their own country and that Israel slowly shrunk the Palestinian borders(from what I know). Either ways its pretty complicated, but I wonder if America would still be as intensly pro Israel as it is if the UN decided to place Israel in Utah.. One thing I find deeply disturbing is how the US and UK have supported Israel and pretty much actively stopped Palestinians from having the rights they deserve by vetoing so many UN proposals. erm, bullying completely screws over kids lives and their social skills and their confidence and their personality and their work and their overall health. why the hell would you think that its alright? i tell you what, if you were being bullied i bet you;d come on here and say excactly the opposite. Their should be no views on whether bullyings right or wrong? isn't it obvious? if you don't realise this then at some point itll bite you in the [wagon] or you'll end up a completely horrible person.. :S teachers who are bullies deserve to be sacked, i know there are a very small number that do, but the rest of what they do is just what they need to do, it just feels to you like thier bullying you. a teacher doesnt point out your weak spots and then take the piss for it everyday of your school life, or threaten you or push you about. at the end of the day i hate all bullies,i used to get bullied, but then you feel sorry for them as a few years along theyll be sucking up to you because nobody likes them(which they did lol). also bullies generaly seem to be pretty insecure people (generally) or so self concious that they only feel comfortable in a large group.. either way, fi you were saying what i think you were saying then i cant beleive you posted it, especially on these forums :S

lol i like how you start your posts :P urm, when you say god do you mean a higher power? what i reckon is that there is a higher power, its pretty hard to say because i reckon, to our minds, its pretty impossible to imagine what, theres such a massive universe that has endless ammounts of unconceivabl things. You say 'persuade me there is' but theres no way. You have to feel it, to believe in it or whatever, its impossible to proove that there is or give any real evidence because otherwise we'd all be religious. I think thats kind of what its about, havign faith in a fellow human. They way I view it is that there are so many tales and legends of holy and spiritual contact if you will that if it is true then it must all be the same 'thing'. I feel that nowadays society as a whole just isn't as spiritual and connected as it used to be, a lot of people though do say that they can feel another plain, a spiritual side. This might be in the form of a traditional religion or something like spiritualism etc. When meditating some are said to feel a higher conciousness, which is what I reckon sums up what i think is out there best. I do really strongly believe that all religions are just different ways of interpretting these experiences, im not trying to slag religions i just believe that they are all talking about the same thing its just someones way of interpreting it and over time the differences have split off into all these many religions (please don't take what Im saying in the wrong way). I mean if you think about it it does make sense, which is why i hate to see all of this religion orientated deaths that have happened over time (the IRA, the crusades etc). Either way, I don't think you have to follow a religion to still be a good person int hat religions eyes, everyone has the basic morals(really) and by just following them and trying to be as nice and helpful as possible makes you a good person. Which is why i think whether god is real or not too much of an important question, because real or not everbody should live their lives the way that the holy scriptures say(well the basics).

First off, respect :P Yeah man life is for living, the only thing you really have are you emotions and memories. I try and enjoy everything I HAVE to do (ie school) and try to make the most out of every spare moment. Everyone needs time to relax but its far too easy to spend too much or all of your time 'relaxing'. Since this is on an RS board I have to refer to Runescape, which I used to play. I proballly wasted (thats right wasted) two years at least on RS, all it got me was depression and laziness lol. Of course I enjoyed it when I got a level or, once, a 99, but overall I found RS to be the biggest waste of time and life I could find. A lot of people say that they find it relaxing but I always wonder, do you really find it relaxing? If you do then fairplay to you cos i only really had 'fun' on RS when i got a good level or a nice item both of which took, comparatively, far too long. Looking back with heinsight I do wish I hadn't started. I mean for 99 fletching i reckon i wasted maybe 120+ hours for comparatively very little reward. Since quitting RS ive taken up guitar, started mixing, broadened my views and knowledge through books, taken up bass, started poi, started skateboarding again.. i mean, i could have speant the last 3 years playing rs and gotten a pretty impressive account, but when you get bored of RS(which is inevitable) would that time have been worht it? I find that spending my time relaxing on real things makes life seem a lot more worth living, it also makes time seem slower, your memories arnt just a blur of school and runescape. I mean to really make the most of life you should try and experience as much as you can and i feel that for many people computer games and tv get in the way. i agree with you about drugs aswell lol. ive had a lot of very funny nights and been to loads few random places with friends since stopping rs.. i spend money on gigs or festivals instead of paying my membership(well 33 pounds of it lol) and have a lot better memories. ive got pretty preechy i know but im just trying to explain that at least to some of a you (i know a lot of you might not even play lol ) runescape is killing your time and your health lol ;p. Lifes about living and thats excactly what I feel im doing, i figure that im going to spend my younger years (until nearly 30 maybe) experiencing as much as i can, going backpacking by myself, cycling to somewhere like spain or somethin, and acheive as much as i can. i now feel that future day to day life is not going to be the same or as comfortable as it is now, oils running out, climates changing quite rapidly, the population is STILL growing at a ridiculous rate, demand for resources we don't have is still skyrocketing.. i just feel that life is short and can be lost in the blink of an eye, which is why i want to spend as much of my time as possible exploring and learning :) i really agree with you on this one, and now that you've realised that for yourself you can live life for yourself and try and enjoy it as much as you can for what it is :). i think a lot of people forget how short life is and lose time(it goes quicker and quicker) and don't get what they want out of it and maybe thats what brings ona mid life crisis Oh yah, what hendoism? lol EDIT: just saw some posts, henodism sounds kinda like what im going for, just experiences and fun, screw the future, you dont live in the future ;P. obviously you still have to thinka bit about it but for the majority i reckon you should just live in the now :thumbsup: but yeah, i dunno why i typed all that to be honest lol

I've heard that we actualy arn't fully designed for eating meat which is why we have such long intenstines, (lions etc. have shorter intenstines) apparently lol. I reckon theres quite a few good reasons to be a vegetarian. Firstly health, meat is quite bad for you if you get into the processed, battery farmed stuff which alot of what we eat is. Although its probaly more healthy to just eat meat rarely but get good quality.. but yeah.. Secondly the environment , it takes 3 times moire energy to produce the same ammount of calories from meat as vegetables as well as land space. if the population carries on growing then we WILL have to become vegetarian unless we wanted mass famine,, Quite a lot of people feel quite strongly about climate change and grazing animals and the meat industry produces quite a lot of greenhouse gasses. Thirdly becuase of animal cruelty etc. which to be fair is appauling. i do think that animals are a lot more intelligent than we think and that it is just insanely inhumane to let cows, chickens etc. live the way that we breed some of them to live.. I acutally am thinking of becoming vegetarian to be honest, but i worry about my weight which is already pretty low. i also think that for animal cruelty reasons you should become a vegan because egg hens and dairy cows are HORRIBLY abused :S.

I dont think you could say something like that without actualy living in the counrty. hitting someone with your shoes is a sign of complete disrespect or something in that area. and i dont think that someone would just use that lightly as its a traditional thing. you dont have a clue of what its liek in iraq and for people to just sit there like 'omg why they complaining theyre getting democracy arnt they?' you dont actualy know that youve just seen it on tv, like me. you should cross refeence because mainstream news isnt going to be able to give you a very clear picture. Oh my god :o do you know anyone thats gay or anything about being gay in the slightest? 2 of my good friends are gay (one a girl one a guy) and it doesnt make any difference to anyone except them, i can tell you that at 18/19 attention isn't whats on most peoples minds.. I also know how hard it is for them being gay when hardly any people at our age have come out openly (from where i am anyway). Think about it, everyone wants a relationship really, imagine wanting one so badly but you couldnt get one because of the lack of other gay people, i can tell you that being is deffinately not a choice. Being gay doesn't get you any good attention. I think its ridiculous that anyone can say that being gay is wrong. I just want one good reason, apart from it saying so in the bible. It annoys me that people can hold things like sexuality and race against people when it doesnt effect them in any way. In my opinion i cannot see how being gay could possibly not be alright and how there can even be an argument about it.

Personally i havnt tried the claws as i dont play rs anymore but ive seen the pictures and read some posts. i think this is a really cool weapon, i think all high weapons that come out are good because generally jagex balance them pretty well, ie. ive heard this ones worth a LOT of money to be comparable with the dds in pking circumenstance. Therefore using them would risk you a lot of money (if one itemers start using them they should just stop them from being protected). I reckon the problem is is that hitpoints have stayed the same since RSC and weapon max hits have easily over doubled since then. They should make hitpoints the only stat that you can raise to 150 but still being the equivilant of 99 in any other skill(same ammount of exp needed). Its probally quite hard to do but it needs to be done really..
