  1. People who think mage is powerful in F2P obviously have low magic levels.
  2. The Evil Chicken?
  3. Buy iron ores for around 50 each, and sell them for 100 each.
  4. 5X drain rate isn't going to stop people from complaining, as you could always drain potions and the prayer's still there no matter how expensive it is. Other PKers aren't going to care how fast it drains prayer, the fact is it is still operating. As for 25% effectiveness on players... What about on NPCs?
  5. Wrong again. I really do not think armour is the main concern here, the main concern is that mages are not having the advantages they should have: decent damage and binding spells. Armours are secondary, only because mages in F2P have very low bonuses. This has nothing to do with fashion. Also: If this balancing of things in the Combat Triangle is going to deter people from becoming members, or make people cancel their membership, I'll worship you. You have absolutely no empirical evidence or logical reasoning to support that, and I challenge you to produce some.
  6. This is about balancing the F2P Combat Triangle, not about a desperate but irrational need for new fancy armour. I don't think defense is the issue here, it is mage attack bonus and better binding spells. And maybe a bit of extra damage.
  7. I've thought of opening up Wave spells too, but I don't think it is plausible, so I have no comment on that.
  8. Think of the possibilities... a prayer that instantly restores all your stats, a prayer that instantly heals all your HP, and combine that with the prayer that restores your prayer... total 0wn493!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111
  9. Complete no-no. Even though the "make a spell cost a fortune and let it be one hit KO" idea may sound plausible, as anyone who uses the spell for PKing most likely is going to lose more than they gain, keep in mind that it is not only the person casting the Uberspell that's playing the game. Other people are playing too, and someone who was killed by an Uberspell is unlikely to be considering the profit of the person who killed him or her: he or she would be more concerned about his or her own losses. In Conclusion: No. Too selfish, regardless how much the Uberskill costs. Introducing this spell almost means that JAGeX supports griefing during PK.
  10. If Runescape is overally educational, I'm made of perspex.
  11. Ever wonder why 90% of RS is melee? Because it's better than rangers and mages. If they were balanced, then it would be 33/33/33. Wrong. It is because Rangers and Mages use too many consumables, and so use money each time they attack. Warriors do not. This is supported by JAGeX's poll.
  12. Superheat item only smelts one ore for a nature rune, which costs 300 ea.
  13. Well! I've always wanted new low level mage robes and the spell "Snare", and possibly a higher level combat spell for F2P. Count me in!
  14. I do not believe F2P deserve updates, although it certainly needs them in some cases. The Combat Triangle does not really work as it should, as F2P Magic is weak (maximum damage 16...), with no decent binding spells (Bind is next to useless, because casting magic is slow and you only get about an extra shot in before your opponent starts running again). Without good binding spells, a F2P Mage's advantage against Warriors is minimal, considering Warriors could simply take off their armour or slap on some Dragonhide if they fight a Mage. Perhaps the spell "Snare"... But that is simply dreaming. In truth, I think the analogy on the restaurant is too good. F2P do not deserve updates.
  15. Oh yes they were the miya's from ancient mexco had plumming so did the middle ages. In mytholgy theres gromish...maybe there gluiders too I said there were. The Romans had sewerage systems too. But I also said they were not very advanced. But when the Middle Ages came up, lots of technologies and stuff were lost, as were sewerage systems. They were not redevloped until the late Middle Ages, I believe. Gliders did not exist until very late into Human History. Before that, people tried to create wings to fly. The idea of a glider came a short time before the airplane. Mythology is not the item of discussion here. And the Middle Ages refer to European History, not American History. Last time I checked, there is almost no American-referenced contents in Runescape. And also, you miss my point. My point was that Runescape is not based on any Terran Time Period, and therefore you could basically add anything you want. Do I make myself clear?
  16. Aren't we in the Fifth Age of Runescape right now? Besides, Runescape is not based on any Terran time period, so technically you could add fighter planes if you wish. I mean, let us say Runescape is set in the Middle Ages. I don't recall the hot air balloon to be invented then, or steam powered machinery, or plumbing and sewerage systems. No gliders then either. All these were invented a few centuries after the Middle Ages (apart from the plumbing and sewerage system, but they certainly weren't very advanced back then).
  17. If you stick aggressive monsters near every skilling location, the Skillers will whine.
  18. What an ungrateful brat. Farewell to you.
  19. Since you hate them so much, why are you playing their game? And why do you want to enforce your ideas on them? Why do you keep double posting? Why do you sound so much like an immature, whiny little kid who thinks the universe revolves around his overinflated head?
  20. Original? It is almost the same as the idea in Maple Story: Meso Magnets. Even though he claims he did not get his inspiration there, it still doesn't make it original. I suggest this idea be somehow associated with Hunter.
  21. Nobody was debating that point. We know he is thinking of it as a minigame. But since Runescape is a Fantasy RPG, to suddenly introduce a new genre into it would not merge very well. Also, think of the lag it might cause to some people. It simply isn't practical, and is quite excessive.
  22. Then RS would be two games, not one. One game generally cannot accomodate two different genres. I doubt a Fantasy RPG with the traditional point and click RPG system can merge with a RTS genre very well.
  23. Besides, people who do not check the second trade screen would simply be irritated by this update, and would be clicking feverishly on the "Accept" button impatiently waiting for the five seconds to be up. If they were idiotic enough to not check the second trade screen in the first place, no update can convince them without disadvantaging us all to a great degree.
  24. almost the opisite so many noobs in f2p i cant wait till im a member again I hope you realise I was being sarcastic there. Also, you are stereotyping as well. I can assure you the only reason F2P seems more chaotic is because mainly, there are much more F2Pers than Members to comparatively, F2P has more idiots that follow Moronism. That, and also because most kids are not allowed to pay for the game, and more kids than adults/adolescents are devout followers of Moronism.
