  1. Not to mention Rank Capes, Dragon Capes, and the "h4wt c4p3 5up3rm4n w34r5", etc.
  2. I myself have a strange habit of making up with anyone I had an argument or a disagreement with afterwards, which usually happens in the Wilderness. Once the shouting and name-calling and provoking has died down, I get ashamed and will trade the person I was trying to aggravate some food or money, or other valuables. Throughout the months, I have come to realise that this is probably the best way to make truely good friends (as good as it gets online anyway...), and also the quickest and most efficient way to solve an argument; as whenever I offer the gift with my apologies, the other immediately apologises as well, and some even give me a gift in exchange. Granted, these are not very awkward for me, but I daresay they are quite awkward for the person who was having a verbal war with me one second before.
  3. Very good. I suggest, however; that the clan leader be able to change the names of the ranks, Eg. King Adviser Elder Citizen Slave To give people more room for customisation.
  4. Let me put a damper on your enthusiasm. There are music pieces which are only activated on events. You miss the event, you will never get that music. That means no Music Cape for you. And that means most people will never be able to have one. There. I just shattered this whole post in one foul stroke.
  5. They seriously should let us have snowball fights.
  6. Way too powerful. That would cut down a huge cost in casting spells, and magical spells are very powerful... so they are meant to be expensive. This would most likely overpower magic, and make the skill too easy to level. Unless, of course; all the sceptres are EXTREMELY rare monster drops. And I mean EXTREMELY rare. Even then, however; it would probably still be too powerful.
  7. Very good, very interesting; although parts of it is not to my taste (the later parts), but it still rates high in my list of good stories.
  8. Not Dragon. Dragon Weapons already have their own special attacks, no need for more.
  9. I also suggest that you be able to write a small report to JAGeX regarding the situation. This would also help JAGeX sort out genuine reports and fake reports. Of course, the snapshot should be taken 60 seconds prior to the click of the "Report Abuse" Icon, not after you finish writing your report...
  10. The Wise Old Man tells players about the Party Hat. I don't think another dungeon is required, maybe just a few NPCs all around the place. Or you could just ask the Wise Old Man...
  11. if his parents wont let him its not jagex fault, f2p is lucky they get this game for free anyway So let me guess... You are a member? Typical view for a member. Without F2P, runescape loses its population without new members joining. It dies. Jagex goes bankrupt. End-o-story. With F2P people get a chance to try it out, see if they like it, if not they quit, Jagex barely notices. If they like it, they continue, most eventually buying a membership. Those that don't contribute to the income through ads. Either way, Jagex gets money, even if it is a little less than members provide. What did he say wrong? Are you saying that the statement "If parents won't let them pay, it isn't JAGeX's fault" is false? So... does JAGeX have to BEG parents to let their kids pay for membership? As for F2P is lucky to get a free version, yes; F2P is lucky. No one is denying that F2P holds quite an importance in Runescape, but neither can you deny that it is lucky that Runescape has an F2P version. Remember, most other MMORPGs of any sufficient quality are not free at all. However, even if we agree F2P holds quite some importance, explain to me why this justifies F2P getting updates. Do you really think F2P getting more stuff will attract more people? I doubt it. People don't just play F2P and immediately see all that it has to offer: it is a gradual process. And those who are able to pay for membership would generally be convinced to get it before they have finished through all the contents of F2P. Giving more stuff to F2P will not increase in influx of members by much, although some bitter members may leave. There is nothing in it for JAGeX except for kindness, so it is highly unlikely they would update F2P to any great degree. If you read my post, I mention nothing about parental permission. I was simply showing why we are not LUCKY we get to play for free. Look at what you are typing. So we are seriously NOT lucky to be able to play Runescape for free? What would your definition of lucky be then? Having JAGeX release the game totally free, in one huge selfless act? Don't you think that is a bit greedy, not to mention selfish, of you? And I understood you had nothing against parental permission. I just caught the handle and decided to make the most of it. Force of habit.
  12. The gold trim you got on your pictures look strange, and don't look good at all. I prefer the gold trim colour on the Blue Wizard Robes.
  13. If you want it in, make it really expensive; like 1K coins for every point of EXP taken away. What? I mean, JAGeX loves money drains, don't they? =P
  14. Reasons to disagree. 1. Player Moderators are just normal players. They should not get special treatment, except in Reporting. JAGeX said so themselves. 2. If the Cape is weaker than any existing Capes, than that means Player Moderators will be limited in terms of Capes. If it is stronger than normal capes, then that contradicts point 1: they don't get special treatment. 3. If the Player Moderators don't care, why should you? A crown is enough, and I am sure they would agree. They have enough attention already.
  15. This is JAGeX's decision, not ours. It isn't something about game content, so I doubt we would have a say in this matter.

  17. That takes away a lot of the frustration, and we know that JAGeX loves to frustrate their players. =P
  18. You will agree to anything that involves giving F2P more stuff. Getting a bit annoying, since all you do is declare your support and not contribute anything to the discussion. Personally, I think F2P does not need more quests, and I don't think JAGeX would bother to give it any. It is not needed, just for a small break in monotony... so no, JAGeX would never do it unless it is for a good reason, such as the Stronghold of Security. If you ask me what F2P should get more of, I would say this: Wave Spells. Snare. Teleblock. More Dragonhide Armour. A new set of Mage Robes that is below Mystics, but better than Normal Robes: maybe, Battle Robes or whatever. Low level Fletching up to maybe Willow Bows and Steel Arrows. Etc. Etc. You could want it, but none of these are needed. So it is pointless to suggest it.
  19. A very bizzare and orginial idea... but it actually works, and feels quite good after one turns it around a few times in their mind. You have gained my support! Not that my support means much, but still... ~Seal of Approval~
  20. The Tibian Community is even more horrible than Runescape. In some servers, Racism Rampages.
  21. I hope you realise that most people now have Dynamic IPs which changes regularly. This is also the reason why IP Bans do not work, because the banned person could either evade the ban in a few hours or they could manually change their IP.
  22. The relationship between Members and Free Players is not Full Version and Trial/Demo Version; there is too much content in F2P for that, not to mention no time trials. Also, keep in mind F2P was there long before Members, so F2P is not a "Demo". The relationship between Members and Free Players is more like Premium Version and Normal Version; as the comparative amount of gameplay is not a factor as to whether a version is a trial of another or not. As for bankspace? No, F2P does not need more bankspace. If you do, either you aren't a very good organiser or you are keeping a lot of junk/holiday items. Remember, holiday items can be destroyed and claimed at Diango's when you want to wear them. As for more content for F2P, I doubt very much JAGeX would do that, as they have no reason to. The current F2P version is enticing enough to attract thousands of new players every day.
  23. I have a very small appetite... I generally only eat one or two meals a day (usually I skip breakfast and lunch, or just lunch), so you won't catch my eating in front of my computer...
  24. The one emote I most desire is one which allows you to sit down in the nearest chair, or on the ground. I know you can already do this in POHs, but what are all the chairs outside people's personal houses for then? And what about the F2Pers, does this mean they just have to go on standing indefinitely? I mean, the Home Teleport is a nice break from standing, but it only lasts a few seconds; and you have to wait 30 minutes to do it again...
  25. Ummm.... Whenever you log in, at the top of the screen, it says what IP you last logged in from, I'd say that means that they know :P We can see it. But I don't think they can see it. Also, don't think they save our Ip-adresses in their computer. Cause that would be privacy concerns or something? Dunno, but from what I heared, they can't do so... Almost everyone has a Dynamic IP nowdays, so it is basically impossible for them to IP Ban people since they would just evade it soon enough. In case you did not know, a Dynamic IP changes regularly. I think they could also be manually changed. I think JAGeX records people's IPs to detect multiple log ins, like someone had said before.
