Are you sure that you actually lost the lifeboat? Port updates shouldn't have any impact on your mission at all. When the ship comes back check its "add effects" and lifeboat should still say active. i derped its still there... though update was very misleading..... it literally said it had to destroy my lifeboat (wish i captured the image now)

seems to me the beuracrat will boost non repeating crew members. or rather the 2nd crew member u put on of any type no loger gets the boost. ship names: the black pearl (had to do that on release day xd) the raging wench the flying monkey The USS green duck will be coming soon xd dont know if anyone has had this happen to them yet..... i had my life boat get destroyed on my last mission. port update said there was a hole in the hull and they had to use the lifeboat to repair it. (on a 100% mission no less -.-) at least i can use up the rest of my life boats though lol

hi all, I finally got the reqs for frost dragons over the double exp weekend. ive never been there and I am lacking a good stab wep. I wont get my first chaotic till ~lvl90 and i would rather spend the tokens on the ccb instead of a rapier. my question is would a zammy spear work? or what other options do i have besides useing a cr? ill go look up a guide but if there are any noteworthy tip/tricks feel free to inform me of them as well. appriecated :)

I Mostly agree. i think prices will go down a bit but not if they are in demand. besides once higher tier content comes out Gwd armour will drop regardless (which should come soon with POP and Kalphite King...). I still only see instanced bosses being helpful... PoP will basically be a version of an instanced boss to get armour. with more regard to the article i do think RS has legacy issues (or rather a very nostalgic veteran player base) it needs to somehow overcome in order to move forward with changing the requirement / availability issue. The EoC i think would have been a step in the right direction but unfortunately they are rushing it out for whatever reason (though i might even believe it may be to get more ppl actually playing it). -------------------------------------------------------- First article had me going for a sec :) very well written and funny. and a seemingly plausible explanation for the circumstances

ive had that problem too. what worked for me is forcing it into safe mode. just hold down the s key when the game is loading oh and from there u should be able to change the graphics back to whatever u normally had them at

When I got 99 range there most ppl i saw werent actually in void. (wether or not thats smart is another matter). so bassically take royal dhide, range ammy, Archers helm or arma helm, glaivens and swifts. Cape slot should be accumulator or swcape depending on ur prayer situation. Equilibrium aura is great there and make sure u dont forget a geyser titan for an extra 40k exp an hour. If u have cash u could also bring a cannon. u can switch out royal for arma if u wish (trips will last longer). If u dont have glaivens or swifts then settle for snakeskin boots and barrows gloves. Hope I was helpful oh and bring an archers ring (i) if u have it.

I asked this Question over the summer so i can tell u what I found out.... (though changes might have been made since then so might not be the most accurate.) 1. in EoC Kiln will be harder because protection prayers only cover 50% damage. 2. Cant say much to this. However I believe gear should be the same. though switching gears may slow u down now some but whereas u will be killing them faster due to abilities. 3. Im gonna say they are usefull but not neccisary. (complete guess :P ) 4. 2nd best meele cape. first being comp. (gives +3% crit) 5. like with higher pray, dreadnips will definatly help. Probly not necissary though. war tort and uni should be fine.... I recomend just hoppin on the beta to test it out without wasteing any pots and what not. hope I could help u a bit and good luck :)

finally! ive put off dunging basically since it came out because my scheduel does not allow for spending an hour finding a team and then spending another hour getting a large done..... anyways cant wait to get my first chaotic now :) and how often did they have to show the dung emote..... didnt have any other footage of dung bosses or something????

iirc than oak doors are at lvl 74. so ull have to do oak larders till then or look into some flatpacks. teak wardrobes mahogany tables etc.

Really enjoyed the Wilderness article. I've been waiting for more skilling oprotunities in the wilderness for long time. I used to pk a back in rsc and the newly released rs2, but eventually felt the strange need to skill..... anyways a revamp of the wildy would definatly bring me back there and give it another shot. I really enjoyed my pking days and would love to try it out with these new tricks we'll be getting :twisted:

Thanks Quyneax. Great food for thought. I only train meeles with slayer anyways so im hoping they will max fairly close together. I actually dont mind training Agil and Mining too much and dont see a point in lvling them further than what they are atm. I would though like to hear your reasoning behind not using exp lamps on Herb, Construction, and Pray. The other skills u mentioned not to use exp lamps on I would'nt anyways. So far I think I'm leaning towards summoning again.... though I would like to get 90 Construction this way maybe.

I've slowly been geting closer to my end goals this past summer. Now that I've aquired most of the lvls I want, I'm at a loss at to what my next goals should be. With extra exp coming from SoF, randoms, Pengs, Trolls, JoaT, and others that don't currently come to mind, I tend to funnel it all into one skill at a time. I would like to continue this method and what I ask of the tipit community is for a bit of guidance in this regard. Lately I've been putting the extra exp into either herb or summon, but as I mentioned earlier I dont necessarily need more exp there. Since construction is my lowest skill atm and relativly expensive to level, I was thinking about dumping the exp there. However I am open to suggestions. My stats are visible in my sig, so let the proposals fly as I humbly await enlightenment. Thankyou.

ill probly use this update alot. cant wait till i get of work to see what the exp rates are like. and R.I.P. daily agil exp. the games are gone :( but thanks for the agil lvls ^^

definatly burst rock lobs. good mage exp. good charm rates. definatly do this if ur planning on doing any serious summoning training. any other method will kill ur sanity.

Yea, I think that is a pretty cool decision as well. Now people can't complain that they have nothing to work towards once they reach 200 combat. my favorite update so far

i have a question bout this security code thing.... if u get this code on ur smartphone or sms or whatever. are u gonna hve to enter this code everythime u log in? or just when u log in from a diferent computer? or on a completley diferent time frame. i do i just misunderstand this whole thing...? not a big internet security buff but ive never had my account hacked so i dunno if id even bother with it. Maybe i can..... ive killed maybe 300 in total so no large database or anything but, i got my first boot drop around kill 130 or so, that boot drop was also steads :)
