Some of the best places include: Crafting guild and SW Varrock. Otherwise, you can use Tip It's ore mining location guide to select a place. Hope this helps

need help lvling
If you want gp and loot then fight "high" level monsters. If you want fast exp then fight frequently spawning lower level monsters. The idea is to be killing constantly with no downtime needed for food or bank runs. You get exp based on the hit that you do and not, directly, on the level of the monster. So, easily and quickly killing 4 lower level monsters (with no food) could give you the same exp as killing 1 higher level monster (with food). You could try Pest control or some of the auto-attack monsters in the stronghold of security. Hope this helps

Yews
It's gonna be slow though. You may want to power cut willows to raise your WC level a bit more. You should also be familiar with the locations of the 23 F2P Yew trees. The official Jagex world map can flash the locations of all "rare" trees. Look here for buyers, sellers, and the latest prices... Hope this helps

Yew Trees
There are 23 Yew trees in the F2P world. You can see the locations of all of them by selecting show Rare Trees on the official Jagex map of Runescape. The Edgeville ones are probably the closest to a bank. They will probably also be the most crowded. So, you could take a look at the 3 behind the Varrock palace. Or, just visit all 23 trees and see what works best for you in terms of chopping competition and bank walking time. Hope this helps

whats best to rune craft?
The OP is F2P, so that option is not available to him...

whats best to rune craft?
Closer than what? The Body altar is closer to a bank than the Fire altar if you use the shortest path. Fire runes give 7 RC exp per essence. Body runes give 7.5 RC exp per essence. The shortest path is to go west from Edgeville bank, south to Barb village, sneak through the fence gap, and then to the altar. Exactly Hope this helps

What is the fastest way to mine iron?
A few things... -- look here for mining location information -- if you just want the mining exp, then I always liked the 3 iron rocks in Al-Kharid -- if you want to bank them, then the SE Varrock mine is close to a bank -- mine on a high population server for the fastest respawn time. For example, the respawn time for Runite ore goes down by 1 second for every 3 players logged in. Hope this helps

What do you think would happen?
I left a character in the Christmas 2005 event underground workshop. After the event was over, I found him above ground next to the (now closed) entrance. So, I assume that the same thing will happen for the Christmas 2006 event. Hope this helps

Mind Runes
The main advantage with failed Cursing is it's cost effectiveness. Mind rune spells cost about the same as Curse but give less magic exp. Chaos runes give more exp, but also cost a lot more per cast. So, overall, if your goal is to "Raise Magic" as cheaply as possible, then failed Cursing is a good choice. Although, all of that clicking can get very boring. But then, most of the higher level skill raising in Runescape is boring.

:!:Failed curses:!:
IIRC, you need 1 Body, 2 water, and 3 earth. So, it would be cheaper to use an Earth staff. Almost any place will work. I like the key room because it's in a multi-combat zone. That way you will "always" have a target available. Hope this helps

Mind Runes
But it's still more exp than any Mind rune based spell and far cheaper than any Chaos rune based spell... True

Mind Runes
I have level 81 magic and I always fail with only -65 So, yeah, you should have no problems failing every time. Hope this helps

Mind Runes
Ok, here's the situation... Fire Strike averages about 18 magic exp per cast but Curse always gives 29 per cast. The trick to efficient Cursing is to always fail when you cast. That way, you can keep on using the same monster over and over. You will always get the same 29 exp with each cast. To fail, you want your magic attack stat to be as low as possible. You can get it to about -68 with (Any metal will work) Full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, dragonhide vambraces, stronghold boots, and an Earth staff. Do not wear a magic ammy. Now, almost any monster will work. I prefer monsters that can't touch me in a multi-combat zone. So you could try casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water at the 4 zombies in the ladder room. Or, you could try the caged red monk under the Varrock palace stairs, or the prisoners in the Port Sarim jail, or the caged lesser in the top of the wizzy tower, or ducks on the river, or scorps from the edge of the desert mine. Lots of monsters will work. Cursing does require you to click each time, but it is a very cost effective way to raise magic. Hope this helps

I want 85 mining! =[
Ya, but one of those rocks is in the wildy, one is somewhere in arougne surrounded by dark beasts ( impossible to mine there without prayer), and the other 2 are in the heroes guild, which is brutally crowded at peak times. So mining rune rocks isn't exactly easy, wether you're member or not. I never said it was easy. But 6 choices is always better than only 2...

Mind Runes
FWIW, 15,000 Fire Strikes can earn you about 270,000 magic exp, but 15,000 failed Curses will earn you 435,000 magic exp for about the same effort and/or price. Otherwise, you would only need about 9300 failed Curses to earn 270,000 exp.

How much do red spider eggs are worth?
Yes. You can collect them at the end of the Varrock sewers and under the Karamja volcano. They are used to make many potions, including the 4 dose F2P strength one from the Apothecary. You can sell them for around 600-800 gp Look here to find buyers. Hope this helps

I want 85 mining! =[
Congrats! You may want to keep an open spot in your inventory, when mining, for the occasional gemstone. Members have 6 runite ore rocks that they can use. 2 in deep wildy 2 in Hero's guild 1 under lava maze 1 in mourner's cave Hope this helps

Mind Runes
Kinda offtopic but, compared to Mind runes, Body runes are: -- faster to runecraft -- give more runecrafting exp -- give more magic exp when cast

Weapon acuracy
Actually, it's a little bit more complicated than that... Attack style does determine how exp is given out to your Atk, Str, and Def stats, true, but it also determines what, well, Attack to use. And the effectiveness of that attack depends, partly, on the Defensive armor of your enemy. (all pictures by DroolMAN) For example, a city guard wears chain mail. Chain mail is more vulnerable to stab attacks than it is to slash attacks. So the most effective attack to use on a guard is the Stab attack. Now if you look at the style available to the Scimmy and Longsword you see that the scimmy only has a stab attack available in the controlled style . So if you wanted to train in a controlled style with a scimmy, you end up using the scimmy in it's weakest fighting mode. If you look at the longsword, then you see that the controlled style is stab, and for the longsword, the stab is almost as good as the slash. Now you can go and research the defenses of monsters, the strengths of sword, and the training styles available for any particular combination. But, the bottom line is that you really need to know -- what your enemy is weak against -- what your weapon is strong in -- what training styles support the strength of your weapon if you want to be an effective fighter. Hope this helps

42 range...
What's the rush? You could reach about level 60 without picking them up. Or, level 75 if you did. Well, Prayer is very hard to raise on F2P and if you did do Moss giants, you would be wasting a great chance to get prayer exp or $$ by not collecting the big bones. As far as fast exp, you just need any monster that you can safely range from a safe spot. Monsters in a multi-combat zone would be best. You could try the Varrock sewers. Try shooting from the key room into the 4 zombie ladder room. You could also try the caged lesser demon in the wizzy tower, Port Sarim jail, Draynor jail guards, fortress guards, scorpions, etc. There are lots of monsters that would work. You earn exp according to the Hit that you do and not, directly, on the monsters level. Hope this helps

I want 85 mining! =[
That sounds about right... Yeah, it will take awhile. Then, when you get to 85, you get to look forward to being ganked by the Runite ore PKers just waiting to relieve you of your hard earned prize. That what Jagex calls F2P "fun" Members have another 4 Runite ore rocks that they can mine.
