When should I move on?
See, my take on that would be to find another set of training monsters instead of assuming that I must "move up". What matters to me is the Exp per hour that I earn. So, If lower level monsters provide me with more Exp in an hours training, then that's where I'll be. I'm always looking for monsters that provide me with constant non-stop slaughter. As long as the next monster is a swords reach away, I'm happy :) And yeah, you're right, the Stronghold monsters provide for great training. Hope this helps

When should I move on?
Well, remember the combat triangle Melee beats rangers Rangers beat wizards Wizards beat melee So, if you plan on fighting wizards then you should be wearing ranging gear. You can get a anti-dragon breath shield, if you want, free from the Duke of Lumbridge but your main problem is all of the metal armor that you are wearing. Bank it and then put on some green dragonhide. You can still use your sword, of course. Hope this helps

Fastest and cheapest f2p mage xp??
It's also very useful when ranging from a safe spot. If you cast a Curse on the monster and then run back to your safe spot it allows you to have all of your arrows in the monster's loot pile when it dies. That way you don't have to run around trying to get them back or waste them by leaving them there. If you pick up your arrows then you can use each one about 4 times before it breaks. That a lot of extra exp that you can earn. Hope this helps

Fastest and cheapest f2p mage xp??
A successful Curse will earn you 29 magic exp and you then have to find a new target. A failed Curse will earn you 29 magic exp and you can re-use the same monster. Hope this help

When should I move on?
That means that you are using the wrong monster. All that you have to do is to find quickly killed lower level monsters that spawn frequently. Almost all of the monsters in the stronghold of security spawn fast enough so you can be killing constantly. The OP could also try cows, Al-Kharid palace guards, monks, or pirates. Also, if it takes some time to kill then it will probably be hurting you as well. That means you will need more healing food. Hope this helps

Adamite Two-Handed Sword or Adamite Scimitar?
I suggest the Scimmy. The 2H is very slow and you can't use a shield with it. Or, better yet, go and kill 260 pirates in Attack style to get 40 attack. Then you can use a Rune scimmy. Also, the apothecary in Varrock will make you a 4 dose strength potion for about 5 gp if you bring him a limpwort root and red spider eggs. Limps drop, mostly, off of Hobgoblins (west of crafting guild) and red spider eggs are a ground spawn at the end of the Varrock sewers and under the Karamja island volcano. Also, get a power or strength amulet. Hope this helps

Curse....?
Yeah. Also, I suggest that you cast from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water at the 4 zombies in the ladder room. It's a multi-combat area so you will almost always have a target available. Also, make sure that your magic attack is -65 or worse. Hope this helps

Fastest and cheapest f2p mage xp??
You have gotten several good answers here, a summary is: Failed Curses always give 29 magic exp and 0 HP exp per cast. That is more than any Strike (mind rune based) spell, but less than the 34 or 39 exp that you could earn with "expensive" Chaos based spells. You can always fail Curse casting if you have a magic attack stat of -65 or worse. You can get a bad magic attack stat by wearing any full metal armor setup. That would include full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, dragonhide vambraces, stronghold boots, and an elemental staff. Do not wear a magic amulet. Well, you would need, at most, 31315 Failed Curses and that would cost you about $940,000 gp. Or, you would need about 47800 Fire Strikes and that would cost you about $1,400,000 gp Or, you would need about 23286 Crumble Undeads and that would cost you about $2,560,000 gp Also, F2P can't autocast Crumble Undead so you will have to click your way there if you use Curse or Crumble. You can auto-cast Fire Strike though. Hope this helps

Oh dear.
But only under the best circumstances... Because you don't have the best weapons, prayer, and potions. Upgrade those and try again. Hope this helps

arrows n range
Almost anywhere that has a safe spot would work. It also depends on your combat level, if you want to get drops, and if you are P2P or F2P. If you don't plan on picking them up and you are F2P, then you could try the key room in the Varrock sewers (Range the zombies across the water), Port Sarim jail, city guards from outside there walk range, etc. There are lots of places that would work. Don't pick up: about level 53 Do pick up: about level 69 Hope this helps

Crumble Undead?
I dunno, sorry Well, a few things to think about. It may be hard to safely train on Ankous. Hill giants are usually way overhunted. Now you earn magic exp according to: MagicExp = BaseExp + 2*HitDone Crumble Undead averages about 39 exp per cast Fire Bolt averages about 34 exp per cast So, why not hit the 4 zombies in the Varrock sewer ladder room? You can cast from the key room across the water to hit them. It's a multi-combat area so you will almost always have a target up. Hope this helps
-
When should I move on?
Yes. You earn HitDone*4/3 in HP exp and HitDone*4 in melee exp. If you are training in the controlled style then the melee exp is split equally bewtween Atk, Str, and Def. Otherwise it all goes towards the style that you selected. Actually, the higher the monster's level, the higher it's defense will be, and the harder it will be to get a decent hit. So, in that sense, higher level monsters actually slow down your leveling. (But the drops are better) In addition, higher level monsters will also hit you harder. So, your gonna need more food for healing. I'm a level 100 F2Per and I regularly train on monsters under level 30. The trick is that there has to be a lot of them around so I can be killing constantly. Hope this helps

Higher lvl f2p mage training
12k mind runes will get you to level 68.3 You will need another 6400 mind runes to reach 70 Or, you could do it with 11400 (failed) Curses instead of your 18400 mind runes. I would suggest that you cast in a multicombat area so that you will almost always have a target available. (White knights, Varrock sewers, etc) I always liked going after the Crandor Island lesser's Hope this helps

When should I move on?
Why do you think that you need to "move on" anyway? In general, players train either for loot for for exp. The best loot comes from higher level monsters but the fastest training comes from lower level monsters. You earn exp only according to the hit that you do. So, hitting a 5 on a minotaur will earn you the exact same exp as hitting a 5 on a Greater Demon. If your goal is to get "fast exp" then you want to fight monsters that -- are always available -- are "quickly" killed -- can't hurt you much -- don't require much food -- respawn often So, I would fight whatever stronghold monsters are like the above for you. Hope this helps

Need help cursing :)
Well, it really doesn't matter since you always get the same 29 magic exp with every cast. I assume that you know that you want to fail every Curse? Popular Curse targets include the red Zammy monk under the Varrock Palace stairs, Ducks, Port Sarim jail, and (my fav) the 4 zombies in the Varrock sewer ladder room. Hope this helps

Draynor skull
F2P players can make a member object... Just use Karamja Rum on a piece of (Al-Kharid) silk.

What would my hp lvl be if i got 70 mage
Well, In F2P, exp is earned according to MagicExp = BaseExp + 2*HitDone HPExp = HitDone*4/3 A reasonable estimate for the long term average of HitDone is MaxHit/2 Now, generally speaking, higher level spells have a higher value for their BaseExp and a higher value for MaxHit. So, to maximize both Magic and HP exp per cast you should cast the highest level damage spell that you can. For F2P players that is Fire Blast. It averages about 50 Magic exp and 11 HP exp per cast. But, that's gonna be very, very expensive. So most players prefer to use Chaos or Mind runes instead because they are more cost effective than Death runes. If you decide to use Chaos runes then you should cast Crumble Undead because it averages about 39 Magic exp and about 10 HP exp per cast. Fire Bolt averages about 34 Magic exp and about 8 HP exp per cast. But, that's gonna be kinda expensice too. Fire Strike averages about 19 Magic exp and about 5 HP exp per cast. If you really want to raise both Magic exp and HP exp in a cost effective manner, then I suggest that you do them separately. Namely, failed Curses for Magic exp (29 Magic exp per cast) and the range Stronghold Minotaurs for the HP exp. Hope this helps

What would my hp lvl be if i got 70 mage
not true about getting more xp with crumble undead, you always get 24.5 xp no matter how much damage you do, while fire bolt xp is actually affected by the damage you do. No Normal Magic experience is given by the formula Exp = BaseExp + 2*HitDone The base exp for Crumble Undead is 24.5 with a max hit of about 15 So, if you hit a 7 you would earn a total of 38.5 mage exp. Now if you are using a staff, you can split that exp between Magic and Defense. Otherwise it will all go into the Magic skill exp total. Try it and see for yourself. Non damaging spells like Curse, Teleport, Alching, and Enchanting only give the "Base exp" Hope this helps

Best place to train from 70 to 80 range?
I suggest either the Crandor Island lesser demons, minotaurs, or fleshcrawlers. The Crandor Island lessers have a lot of HP and can drop decent cash and a rune med. Pull with a Curse first and then shoot from one of the safe spots. The minotaurs drop arrows so you can keep going for a long time. The fleshcrawlers are aggresive and will autoattack. So that allows almost non-stop training. You can always leave the area and return to get them to attack again. And, pick up your arrrows. You can get about 4 times as many shots that way. Hope this helps

What would my hp lvl be if i got 70 mage
Try a bow and arrows. Actually, the poster already has 70 range. He just made a little typo, lol True, but you can make some good estimates. The damage done is always from 0 to the known max possible hit for your gear and Range level. Hence, a reasonable long term average is to assume that it's half of the max hit. That allows you to estimate arrow usage. The same idea also works for spell casting, namely, half the max possible hit. Hope this helps

Is it possible?
You could do it with less than 22000 Curses That would cost you about 660000 gp. It would be a lot of clicking though... Hope this helps

What would my hp lvl be if i got 70 mage
You can get 70 Magic (from 35 Magic) by casting, at most, 24663 Curses. Casting a Chaos based spell is gonna cost you about 100 gp, maybe more. Casting a Curse spell is gonna cost you about 25 gp, maybe less. The trick with casting Curse is that you always want it to fail That way, you can keep on recasting on the same monster. Either way, you will always get the full 29 magic exp. To always fail Curse, you want your magic attack stat to be as low as possible (-65) or worse. You can do that by wearing full metal armor of any kind. (Bronze will work) Full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, stronghold boots, green vambraces, and an Earth staff. No amulets. Then go cast on any monster that can't reach you. You could try the caged Red monk under the Varrock palace stairs, Port Sarim jail, White knights in their screen room, or (my favorite) the 4 zombies in the ladder room in the Varrock sewers. Cast from the key room across the water. Remember, Curse never gives any HitPoint exp. Hope this helps

What would my hp lvl be if i got 70 mage
Ok, your stats say that you are (barely) a primarily melee type fighter with combat level 67.9 If you cast 20732 Fire Bolt spells and made a long term average hit of 6 then you would earn about 20732*(22.5 + 6*2) = 715254 That exp added to the minimum exp for level 35 magic, (22406) would give you 737660 magic exp. That is level 70 magic. Now, if cast 20732 Fire Bolts with an average hit of 6 then you would earn 20742*(6*4/3) = 165936 HP exp that would make your new total at least 407015 + 165936 = 572951 That's about HP level 67.5 After all of that, you would still (barely) be a melee based fighter with a combat level of about 68.6 Btw, Fire Bolt is a very expensive way to raise Magic. If you insist on using Chaos runes, consider switching to Crumble Undead. You will earn an average exp of 39.5 with CU as compared to 34.5 with Fire bolt. Better yet, switch to (Failed) Cursing. You will only earn 29 magic exp per cast without raising HP exp at all but the Runes are much less expensive. Hope this helps

What would my hp lvl be if i got 70 mage
Ok, here are a few "facts" to consider... The combat formula is something like Level = floor(FighterType*13/80 + Def/4 + HitPoints/4 + Prayer/8) with FighterType being the largest of (Attack + Strength)*2 Range*3 Magic *3 When you damage a monster you will always earn HitDone*4/3 towards HP exp If that damage was done with Melee then you will earn exp as HitDone*4 to Attack or Strength or Defense if training in a single style. If you train in a controlled style then you will earn HitDone*4/3 to all three. If that damage was done with Range then you will earn exp as HitDone*4 towards Range exp. All Magic exp is earned as BaseExp + 2*HitDone (Not all spells cause monster damage) So if you tell us your stats for all of the above we can compute some estimates for you. Hope this helps
