F2P Self-supporting Ranger Guide
Looks like a nice guide! A couple of things that you should consider adding... 1) Estimated arrows usage. If you pick up "p" portion of your arrows after every kill then you will get 1/(1-p) times the number of shots out of them. Example: If you have 1024 arrows and pick up 80% of them then you can get about 1024/(1-0.8) = 5120 shots out of those arrows. 2) Curse pulling. If you cast a Curse spell on the monster first, then the monster will walk over to stand next to your safe spot. After the monster has arrived there you then start to range it. This way, all of your recoverable arrows will be in the loot pile when the monster dies. That way you don't have to run around to many places getting your arrows back. This works best in a single combat area like the top of Crandor Island. Hope this helps

How much can you sell 3k willow logs for?
You can try the "Wood" marketplace forum to find buyers. FWIW, you can usually buy willow logs for about 12 gp each in the Rimmington and Lumbridge general strores. I usually see thousands there all the time...

Which to craft (f2p)
Heavy Silver Tiaras gives 52.5 Light Holy symbols give 50 Mine or buy silver. Smelt and craft from Al Kharid bank to furnace. Hard leather gives 35 Kill cows or buy hides. Tan, craft while walking back to Al Kharid bank, then bank. Clay bowls give 33 Mine clay, soften, shape, "cook" all within the crafting guild. Requires the least amount of walking. Check the Tip It crafting guide. Hope this helps

wat do u think is the best wep on f2p
It also depends on the defensive armor of the monster/enemy. A chainmail wearing enemy can be hurt with a longsword but a scimmy won't hurt it nearly as much. But for enemies wearing robes or similar, a scimmy works very well. Likewise for crush type weapons like the r2h or baxe. Weapons work well or poorly depending on what the enemy armor is. Hope this helps.

Is this the right way to cast "fail curse"?
You can use an Earth staff if you also wear green dragonhide vambraces. In that case, they "cancel" each other out. If you don't use an Earth or Water staff then you have to get a lot more runes to cast Curse each time. Hope this helps

whatever happened to the guy who fashioned armor????
The name of that guy was Thrandor and this is what Jagex said about him in Letters#27 back on 9th December 2004: So, he probably won't come back unless players repeatedly request Jagex to restore him to the game...

were is the best f2p training spot for prayer
Raising prayer in F2P is hard. You can bury regular bones for 4.5 exp each or bury big bones for 15 exp each. Regular bones drop from most monsters (IIRC not demons, ghosts, etc) there are regular bone respawns at the entrance of the Edgeville dungeon, the wildy, etc. Good places to collect regular bones include any place where lowbies hunt. You could try the cow pens, chicken farms, goblin woods, etc. Big bones drop from Hill giants, Moss giants, and Ice giants. They also spawn in the wildy bone yard. Hill giants spawn in the Edgeville dungeon and wildy. Moss giants spawn in the Varrock sewers, wildy, and Crandor island. Ice giants spawn in the blurite cave and wildy. To raise prayer quickly you can buy big bones from other players (expensive. Use the marketplace forums here on Tip It) or grab the bone spawns in the central east/southeast part of the wildy. The chaos altar there has a lot of regular bones. Or, just north of it, is the bone yard that has big bone respawns. If you use the wildy then wear just 3 pieces of gear and don't get skulled. Or, become a member. They have far easier ways to raise prayer and other skills. Hope this helps

Is this the right way to cast "fail curse"?
Well, what is your magic attack stat? It should be -65 to always fail. You can get -65 with Full helm, Chestplate, Legs, and Kite shield using any metal from Bronze to Rune. If you are using an Earth staff then your magic attack stat will only be -55 so most players also wear green dragonhide vambraces (-10) to drop it back to -65. Good places to cast include the Red zammy monk under the Varrock palace stairs, Varrock sewer key room into the 4 zombie ladder room, caged wizzy tower lesser demon, Port Sarim jail prisoners, etc. Hope this helps.

Full list of f2p items?
DroolMAN has sorta done what you are looking for. He has most RS game objects as of a few months ago. If you added in the F2P stuff from the security stronghold then it is probably F2P complete. Look here for his very useful post. Hope this helps

F2P Magic And Ranged
For F2P players you will average about 19 mage exp per Fire Strike 29 per Curse 34 per Fire Bolt 39 per Crumble Undead The Strike and Bolt spells can be autocast. The Curse and Crumble can't be autocast in F2P. Failed Cursing is a very cost effective way to raise magic. If you have Chaos runes then do Crumble Undead instead of Fire Bolt. As for ranging, I always liked the Lessers on the top of Crandor Island. There are safe spots to the north and east sides of their area. You can easily recover most of your arrows if you Cast a Curse first. Hope this helps.

lvl magic?????????
Fail Cursing is usually done with either a 4 or 6 piece set up. Wear Full helm, chestplate, legs, and kite shield. (Bronze works as well as Rune) or the above with a staff and green vambraces. Either way your magic attack stat should be -65. Do not wear a magic ammy or any other piece of gear that raises your magic attack stat. -65 is enough for me, at level 81 magic, to always fail when casting Curse. Hope this helps

wine of zammy
IIRC, they also cast the Curse, Weaken, Confuse set of spells on you as well. To avoid that, talk to a zammy monk first. IIRC, they will still attack you, but at least you won't be Cursed first, lol. Telegrabbing works but the cost of laws may make the method impratical. Your best choice is to probably go with a few strong friends and just clear the house and grab the respawns. Also, the house is sorta Northwest of the Goblin village. IIRC, you go around the village to reach the house. It's on the very edge of the wilderness. Members make various potions with it. Hope this helps

For those that wonder, it would take over 2 million gp to reach level 70 using Hard leather...

Crafting
It depends if you are P2P or F2P. I got to level 75 F2P crafting by making thousands and thousands of silver Tiaras and silver Holy symbols. You get 52.5 exp for each Tiara. You could do Hard leather. Each one gives 35 exp. Or make clay bowls. Each one gives 33 exp. The most effective F2P method in terms of exp per time spent might be to do clay bowls. You can mine the clay, soften it, shape it, and bake it all on the first floor of the crafting guild. No banking is needed Leather requires more time fighting and walking compared to bowls but only gives 2 more crafting exp. Silver gives great exp but getting/mining the silver takes money/time. Mining, walking to smelt and mold take a lot of time. So the most F2P exp effective way would include Silver, Leather, and Clay. And the most F2P cost effective way would inlclude Clay, Leather, and Silver. Hope this helps

lvl magic?????????
It depends on your cash available, Rc level, and if P2P or F2P. But, Tip It's magic exp chart has a lot of good information. (Crumble Undead is still wrong though, lol) The average exp earned is "Exp gained" + "max hit" Consider this: Fire Strike averages about 19 per cast Curse (failed) always gives 29 exp per cast Crumble Undead averages about 39 per cast The most cost effective way (cheap) to raise F2P magic is to make your own Body and Earth runes (buy a water staff), and cast failed Curses. The second most effective way (exp per gp) to raise F2P magic is to buy Body and Earth runes (and a water staff), and cast failed Curses. Other spells can give more exp per cast but give less exp per GP spent when compared to Curse. But, if you are in a rush (why?) then you could do Bolt and Tele spells. It would take about 5050 Curses or about 3572 Lumby Teles to reach your goal. Hope this helps

F2p range
If you do decide to pick up your arrows then use the Curse method to make it fast and easy. Hope this helps

what level range will i be...?
This post shows how to do that sort of calculation. The main thing that you need to know is the max hit for Mith darts for your range level. Since I'm F2P I have no idea what the max hit is. Hope this helps

help with rune mining
I suggest that you make a mid-level scout wearing 3 piece armor or dragonhide. Then, position him at the rune rocks with a (free Fally bronze) pic so it looks like he can mine rune and, since he's mid-level, he can be attacked by PKers. If the PKer's see a mid level player at the rocks then, chances are, they will run over to attack. In other words, use your scout as bait for the PKers. If he dies then you lose nothing but the free pic. (Better him then your real miner) You can even make "bait scouts" for many worlds. If no PKers appear then log in your real miner and get to work. Also, know where the multi-combat wildy zones are. Use the Tip It Wildy map Turn off auto-retaliate and, if attacked, run west into the Ice giants. Since you have auto-retaliate off, you won't stop to fight the giants when they attack. But the PKers will probably be stopped, briefly, by the giants. I usually run west, south, southeast, and then south until I can tele to Edgeville. Of course, have full run energy. Mine during "off hours" I found that evening time in California (btw, I don't live in California) was usually a bad PKer time when mining. Consider wearing nothing and mining only 3 (or 4) ore per trip If PKers attack then make no effort to live. Just drop your pic and let them kill you. Since you have nothing but your 3 (or 4) ore, you will keep it all. Imagine the PKers frustration when you thank them for the free trip and always leave nothing but bones. Mining this way is slower, but, you will never lose a single rune ore. Maybe you will even get a reputation as a "Don't bother killing him 'cause he drops nothing" miner. Finally, remember that Jagex considers PKing to be "fun" and one of the things that attracts people to play the game in the first place. If you don't agree with their idea then consider playing another free game. Hope this helps

PLZ HELP ME!
It depends on the buyer, but many players offer around 100 gp per ore. Sometimes more when large amounts are sold. Did you bother to click on the link that was provided? If you did, then you would have seen many posts where players are offering a certain amount of GP for a certain amount of ore. So, peruse the forum and select a few buyers and then contact them. Pretty simple, really. The whole point of the smithing market forum is to allow you to select a buyer (or seller) that offers a good price. So, use it to your advantage. Hope this helps

F2p range
Well, if you ever want to raise Ranging again, you might regret getting only 1/4 the exp that you could have gotten by picking up... Since you are f2p I would suggest high HP monsters such as Lessers demons, Ice giants, and Moss giants in the non-wildy areas. The Crandor Island lessers have safe spots on the North and East sides, the Ice giants have a rock enclosed area you could try (not my first choice btw), the Crandor Mossies have a safe spot against the North wall and just North of the western most Mossie. The Varrock sewer Moss giants are never up long enough, lol. Hope this helps.

You need to select your buyers here. There are plenty of smithers looking for large quantities of ore. Hope this helps

PLZ HELP ME!
You could make 14 complete Iron mining trips or 10 complete Coal mining trips to earn about 39k. Iron requires level 15 mining and coal requires level 30. Use the Tip It mine locations to select a mine. The SE Varrock mine or Al-kharid mines are popular. Hope this helps

F2p range
Are you going to pick up the monster loot or are you going to let it rot? The reason that I ask is that if you do it right, picking up arrows is just as easy as picking up the loot... I always liked ranging the Crandor Island Lesser Demons and Moss giants. Both have "good" loot and have safe spots available. I never bothered to bring any healing food since I never allowed them to hit me. I only stopped to bank every few days when my non hi-alch loot filled up my inventory. Hope this helps
