YES! EXACTLY! thats exactly what i was thinking, but i never posted it (people would prob flame me saying well thats real life and this would turn into a flame topic) ty for posting that; it brings up a very logical point.

someone probably already posted this but.. your wrong! dying of old age is from heart failure. not from any medical problems. when you grow older, your heart grows weary, and eventually stops. (your heart is a muscle) technically, old age is what makes your heart stop eventually (if no medical problems exist), so technically old age is a killer.

i agree it tends to be expensive, i believe it is just people trying to seize the economy. were likely to see prices settle down in the next month or so. jagex will probably fix the planks problem also. but as for now, players are jacking up prices temporarily to seize the moment. again, they will probably go down after the economy settles. just like when a new video game system is released: companies sell their video game systen for 400+ then in a month its 300, and before you know it its 200. as for the person on page one that said your house does make money for you: ofcourse it does, thats real estate and inflation. my family comes from a long line of contractors. however so does everyone elses house in the same area. so if you sell your house, you still have to buy a new one, and those houses are also inflated in price. thats why we usually leave house-merchanting to real-estate agencies.

of course im not saying its a rich person's skill. iron and steel are VERY easy to obtain, and so are planks by woodcutting. you could easily make a decent house after woodcutting and mining for a week or two. by the way: does YOUR house (irl) give you money :wink: ?

hmm good point. i have thought about the possibility, and it seems plausible because players cannot make their own planks, and raw materials are preety expensive too. also, everything seems to cost alot (steel drag is 10MILL!). so it is a very good posibility.

As many of us know, construction, a very long awaited skill, was released today. However, many people are commenting on how there is little or no way to make money through the skill, and it consequently has no "potential" according to these people. Construction is the first skill released by jagex that is intentionally and mainly for enjoyment purposes only. Construction gives you something to do, and just because you can only make little money by using it, doesnt mean that its pointless. Jagex is giving players a little slap in the face with construction, reminding them why they play: for fun! Thats right 'scapers, You may have forgotten that you play Runescape because it is fun! Construction adds a whole lot to the game in the 'fun' factor, and I think that is why Jagex intentionally made it have little money potential. Just remember, you play this wonderful game for the fun in it (atleast i hope), so instead of complaining that it has no potential for your little gold stack, remember that RS is supposted to be for fun, and Jagex is reminding you.

Actually no, ecto is still the best way for prayer exp. 400%, you just got to love it. Anyways maybe read the knowledge base beter to find out how to get money from this. It says to sell the items you make on your workbench to other players. You sell the stuff you can make to those who cant for money. That is how you will make your money through this. ecto may be 50% better but... your forgetting the TIME factor. you can go thru a heck of alot more bones thru your poh then ecto per hour. leading to more prayer xp.
